Gad Saad: War is coming to every corner of the West — Legal Insurrection Podcast: Episode 26
Can the west be saved?

Professor Gad Saad joins the Legal Insurrection Podcast to confront the cultural and ideological forces driving the West toward collapse. Drawing from his bestselling book The Parasitic Mind and his upcoming release Suicidal Empathy, Dr. Saad diagnoses the idea pathogens infecting academia, media, and public discourse.
With host William A. Jacobson and Kemberlee Kaye, Saad explores the war on truth, the decay of reason in higher education, and whether America remains “the last best hope of man on Earth,” echoing Ronald Reagan’s timeless warning. A survivor of civil war in Lebanon and now a globally recognized public intellectual, Saad brings a unique clarity to the fight against destructive beliefs spreading through academia, media, and the culture at large.
If you’ve felt the cultural shift and wondered, “Is it too late to save the West?“—this one’s for you.

The West needs rid of the left. Without it war will come as Saad says.
Watch Europe, which on the immigration front seems at least 10 years ahead of us.. I predicted years ago that Merkel’s legacy would be the reconquering of Europe within 100 years, due to greater birth rates of the people let in. I no longer think that it will take that long. However, even if it will end in civil war as in Lebanon, the place may not be worth saving and end up like Lebanon – where incidentally my mother spent most of her first 10 years, when Beirut was known as the Paris of the Middle East..
I think it’s more likely Europe will settle back into the fascism it’s so comfortable with. Civil war followed by Muslim expulsion. Europe seems to have two settings… decadent progressive social welfare states or monstrous dictatorships. I suppose we’ll see.
This would surprise me. Europe is now so pathetically weak and woke. If their new Muslim brothers fight with any sort of coherence, and some among them can lead them, they’ll wipe the floor with what’s left of Europeans.
And nobody would come to Europe’s defense. That’s what happens when people lose respect for you, you may get pity but mostly it will be derision, and it certainly won’t be meaningful help.
The only way we’d save Europe is if it meant we could have it and own it.
“The only way we’d save Europe is if it meant we could have it and own it.”
Who would want a citizenry guaranteed to be Walz-AOC camp Democrats, and be a welfare burden worse than Puerto Rico?
Well there is the factor of Muslims sucking at war. They rely on their opponents not actually fighting back, but when they face an organized enemy they get torn through like tissue paper. Europeans invented industrialized mass murder, and they’re very well practiced at it. But yeah, no one is going to help Europe this time.
I remember Beirut being known as the Paris of the Middle East, and Lebanon being cited as the example where four religions got along and cooperated. Until the day they didn’t. And I remember Yugoslavia having its turn as the modern day utopia. Until it wasn’t. I even remember when historians claimed the Maya had been a peaceful people, until they began deciphering the writing on the stone blocks on their temples. Not so peaceful. Seems mankind is not destined to live in utopia.
There’s a common thread in the declines of Beirut and Yugoslavia. Those in the time of the Maya didn’t have to deal with it in exactly that form.
We have the constitutional right of freedom of religion, and I think there is also some mention of religious freedom in the Declaration of Independence.
But the main author of the D of I, Thomas Jefferson, later became POTUS, and he fought a war against one particular religious group because of their practices, the Muslim Barbary pirates who were enslaving, among others, Americans. We could not tolerate their practices even far from our shores. And we never let Muslims in here for a couple hundred years after that.
Then we eventually forgot, or something happened in our leadership and they betrayed us. Islamophobia (the actual fear, or phobia, not hatred or aggression against them) is a natural self protective response, and we need to cure ourselves of the idea that it’s at all parallel to antisemitism which is objectionable when it’s aggressive.
We can thank the Hart-Celler Act, pushed by that drunken sot Ted Kennedy, and signed by that cynical bastard LBJ.
Not all of Europe is lost. Just 99% is gone. Poland and Hungary are the only two EU states that have stood fast against illegal immigration and because of that they are the only two European countries where Muslim terrorism has not visited itself upon the people.
For that crime Poland and Hungary are utterly detested by the EU, who does everything it can to undermine those two countries at every turn.
Eastern Europe- The Vicegrad States- will have to maintain defense for the rest of Europe. Western Europe will have to fight off the EU for any chance to regain its footing.
