I’ve been saying for some time fight back, Of course I was dropped on my head as a youth or so I was told.
I fell down a flight of stairs as an infant. In the Army, I fell off an 15′ high stone wall (during French Army commando training) and landed on my head. Two weekends ago, I fell off my roof. I’m extremely durable and none of these things has affected me, or at least that’s what the voices in my head have told me.

Yes the Chabad don’t suffer Jew hatred. My Chabad Rabbi doesn’t mind if we come to services armed. Quite the opposite. Nothing says Never Again like an armed Jew. I carry a variety of defensive weapons everywhere I go. Many Reform Temples are gun free zones. So guess which Temples will get targeted? Chabad in Switzerland have the same policy. An armed guard during high holy day services. I spoke with the guard myself when in Switzerland.
Unfortunately Jew hated in Europe is on the rise except for Hungary. No doubt a result of the massive migration of Islam into Europe who seem all too willing to surrender. Ultimately we might all have to move to Israel to survive. I hope not.

Reform temples might have been liberal when I grew up but I don’t think they were suicidal. Not sure what happened to them in the last 50 years. Maybe the ordaining of women rabbis and canters softened them.

A friend of mine, a retired USCG officer, is a member of an armed detail that protects congregants at his church in Virginia. Christians can play this game too!
IIRC, there is a movement called The Sheepdog Movement that encourages armed guards in churches, especially during services because of the target rich environment. I know for a fact, due to conversations with some people involved, that the church where The Bride and I attended a few years ago and the church where we are now members have armed security.
