Also, Israel hits terrorist targets in Beirut, southern Lebanon after Hezbollah fires rockets into Galilee.

The U.S. renewed airstrikes against terrorist targets amid reports that the Pentagon was deploying more stealth bombers within striking range of Houthi-controlled Yemen, media reports on Saturday indicate.

“Suspected U.S. airstrikes pounded Yemen overnight into Saturday, reportedly killing at least one person as the American military acknowledged earlier bombing a major military site in the heart of Sanaa controlled by the Houthi rebels,” the Associated Press reported. “The strikes into Saturday targeted multiple areas in Yemen under the control of the Iranian-backed Houthis, including the capital, Sanaa, and in the governorates of al-Jawf and Saada, rebel-controlled media reported.”

Long-range bombers were being moved to the U.S. military base in Diego Garcia located in the Chagos Archipelago in the Indian Ocean, new reports suggest. “The U.S. has deployed heavy, radar-evading B-2 bombers to the Diego Garcia base in the Indian Ocean, a warning to Iran and Yemen’s Houthi militia that American airstrikes could become more intense if Houthi attacks on Israel and Red Sea shipping don’t stop,” the Wall Street Journal noted Thursday.

Additional warplanes were underway, the British newspaper Telegraph reported:

The United States has deployed stealth bombers to the Diego Garcia military base, in a warning to Iran and its rebel proxies.

At least three B-2 spirit bombers have already arrived at the strategic US-UK outpost, according to satellite imagery.

Another four jets are believed to be on their way, according to unconfirmed Open Source Intelligence reports.

The island puts Iran and Yemen in range of US planes. (…)  A military source told The Telegraph that the B-2 stealth jets had been deployed to help protect international shipping lanes but were unlikely to be involved in carrying out bombing raids. (…)

Dubbed the “ghosts of the sky”, the B-2 bombers are capable of slipping past the most advanced air defences and deliver deadly payloads with surgical precision.

Saturday’s bombing raids are the latest in the series of airstrikes on Yemen after President Donald Trump in mid-March ordered “decisive and powerful military action” against Houthis, an Iranian proxy terrorist group. Since October 7, 2023, Houthis have been trying to impose a maritime embargo on Israel — hijacking and sinking Western-owned cargo ships in the Red Sea, a crucial waterway connecting Europe to Asia.

Israel hits terrorist targets in Beirut, southern Lebanon after Hezbollah fires rockets into Galilee

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) hit terrorist targets in Beirut and southern Lebanon after the Iran-backed Hezbollah terrorist group fired rockets toward northern Israel. The Israeli fighter jets were “carrying out a wave of strikes on Hezbollah targets in the south of the country, and later that afternoon brought down a building it claimed was used by the terror group’s drone unit in southern Beirut, a Hezbollah stronghold known as Dahiyeh,” The Times of Israel reported.

The IDF confirmed Friday afternoon  that rockets “were fired from Lebanon toward the Upper Galilee area in northern Israel.”

With Hezbollah violating a four-month-old ceasefire, the Israeli armed forces were targeting terrorist militia forces and infrastructure in southern Lebanon. “This attack constitutes a blatant violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon and poses a direct threat to the civilians of the State of Israel,” the IDF warned.

“Over the past few hours, the IDF struck Hezbollah command centers, terrorist infrastructure sites, launchers, and terrorists in southern Lebanon,” the Israeli military said in a statement Friday.

Israeli airstrikes also destroyed a drone storage site in Beirut. “IDF struck a terrorist infrastructure site used to store UAVs by Hezbollah’s Aerial Unit (127) in the area of Dahieh, a key Hezbollah terrorist stronghold in Beirut,” the military confirmed in a separate statement.

IDF issues new evacuation orders after Hamas mortar attack in southern Gaza

The IDF is widening the ground operation in southern Gaza after Hamas terrorists fired mortars at Israeli troops near the Khan Yunis area. The military on Saturday called for the evacuation of parts of Khan Yunis as it prepares to target Hamas terrorist capabilities.

Israel renewed its military operation after Hamas last week rejected a U.S. ceasefire proposal and refused to negotiate the release of remaining hostages in its captivity since October 7, 2023.

The Jerusalem Post reported:

The IDF struck a mortar launch site in Khan Yunis, which had launched the three mortars at IDF troops operating in the area earlier on Saturday, the IDF announced. There had been no IDF injuries in the incident.

The IDF’s Arabic spokesman, Col. Avichay Adraee, earlier instructed southern Gaza residents to evacuate from Abbasan, Al-Qarara, and Khirbet Khaza’a.

“This is an early warning before an attack. The terrorist organizations are repeatedly launching rockets from among the civilians. This area has been warned many times. For your safety, you must immediately evacuate west to the shelters in the Mu’assi area,” he stated.

You play w/fire, you get burned. Unless you’re so stupid that you put a launch site right next to the crater where the one before it used to be.

Lots of interesting comments to that YouTube. Including that Trump serves Israel & wants to force the Iran & the entire ME to do so. That one has 133 likes so far. The comment blaming it all on the banking industry has 37.

38 so far for: “100% agree and appreciate Larry Johnson stating fact that Torah/OT is “nonsensical” and “just a book”. The fact that +2500 years later Zionism keeps repeating this fairy tale, as policy, for gods sake is scary, and could be terminal for humanity 🙁

Also agree with Colonel Wilkerson that IsraHELL “should NOT be allowed to darken the doors of the UN anymore” = Amen to that!”

Nice company you keep. Couldn’t you find anything at Veterans Today or If America Knew? All 3 channels seem obsessed with alerting the world to the Jewish Menace.

Sounds like exactly the sort of rabid lunacy a neo-nazi such as moonmoth would buy into. Thanks for saving us the trouble, ahad.

” a neo-nazi such as moonmoth Wow — that’s the same thing that the far Left accuses me of when I tell them that I voted for Trump.

Thanks for saving us the trouble, ahad. Thanks for showing that you’re willing to just accept what others tell you about sources, rather than finding out for yourself.

“Lots of interesting comments to that YouTube.” Even more interesting is that you attack the comments on that video (and resort to ad homs against me) in order to evade responding substantively to the strategic analyses that were presented by Larry Johnson Colonel Col. Larry Wilkerson.

Trump’s support of Israel’s genocidal policies is sickening. We (the US) will be very lucky if Trump’s threats against Iran don’t escalate into a regional war in which China becomes involved.

According to this article, there is only one reported killed as a result of this huge stealth move. If the intention is to send a threatening message, then perhaps that has been accomplished – at considerable expense. Another interpretation may be that, even using the most advanced tech and billions in sophisticated hardware, we only have one kill to show for it. It would interesting to know what their actual goal was for this particular undertaking. Was it to threaten damage or inflict actual meaningful damage?

Why do you assume that this strike was about killing people? It seems clear that it was about destroying critical war infrastructure.

I’m not a fan of the B2 bombers. Too expensive to build and too expensive to maintain, There are too few of them to have an impact in a peer-to-peer or even near peer conflict and their role can be done by other hardware when dealing with all other adversaries.

Wonder how long it will take the Houthis and the Blowfish to realize that Iran gladly will let them hang out to dry in the glow of B2 smartbombs….

The B-2 is not for Yemen. The B-2’s are for Irans nuclear facilities. They can carry the MOAB for hardened underground installations. They can also use the Minute Man missile that can carry a 25 ton non-nuclear penetration bomb. Hardened titanium cap. Ballistic inertia to carry it through 200 meters of rock before detonating with the force of 16 kilo ton nuclear device. Developed in the early days of the Afghanistan war. The Israeli IDF all ready took out their air defense systems. Russia has already agreed that Iran should not have nukes. This keeps Israel out of this mission and allows the Saudis to say they knew nothing about it. Wink Wink. That’s why they are staged out of Diego Garcia. Look for the cia to be cut out of this action. Wouldn’t surprise me to find out that we already have Marine Recon, SEALS and Green Berets on the ground in Iran. It’s payback time for 46 years of terrorist operations against the west via Iran. If we do it, the IDF will take the rest of hamas and hezbollah at the same time. Don’t you love it when a plan comes together.

I read that President Trump will be reasonable and will offer to negotiate with Iran to get rid of all their nuclear facilities. He will give them a deadline and an ultimatum. They, of course, will stall or say, “No.”

    Boom!

    Lesson learned? Trump doesn’t bluff.

Anti-Semitism is one of those subjects that seems to come out unexpectedly from people. It shows how many normal people can talk about any subject but when the ME comes up, slight anti-Semitic comments start to come out. Genocide is an absurd claim since Israel dropped leaflets many times warning Palestinians to leave an area that was about to be attacked. I don’t remember Hitler doing that. The other thing is collateral damage and for some reason, no one seems to remember WWII and the millions of civilians who were killed by collateral damage. When Hamas started this war, collateral damage was of no concern to them. Now it is their primary weapon because of simple-minded sycophants at US colleges.

    Thanks, inspectorudy

Further, Hitler’s “Final Solution”, or the extermination of the Jews, was a plan to rid the world of Jews. And not just Jews that were born to Jewish parents but anyone who has 1/16th Jewish blood. They (the NAZIs) weren’t unsophisticated amateurs, either. They used mechanical tabulating machines to help in their efforts. (Hollerith, IBM. See https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/ibm-and-quot-death-s-calculator-quot-2 )

A little different eliminating a race as opposed to a terrorist organization like Hamas.

Unless very deep bunkers are in Yemen, the F-18s are doing a fine job.
The B-2s are for Iran.
