Transportation Sec. Duffy Launches Investigation into Possible ‘DEI-Linked’ Cheating In Air Traffic Control Tests

DEI activist allegedly shared air traffic controller exam answers with minority candidates.

In February, I reported that the Department of Transportation was partnering with the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) to improve the nation’s Air Traffic Control system.

This initiative comes in the wake of recent aviation incidents, including a deadly crash between a passenger plane and a Black Hawk helicopter near Washington, D.C. that claimed the lives of 67 people.

There were concerns expressed that during the Biden administration, the emphasis on diversity-equity-inclusion (DEI) led to the hiring and promotion of less qualified employees. In operations where safety issues are paramount, this policy has the potential to seriously undermine trust in the air industry and ultimately result in preventable tragedy.

Now comes the troubling revelation that a prominent ‘DEI’ activist was caught on voicemail allegedly offering minority air traffic controller candidates the chance to cheat in an entry exam.

Shelton Snow, a powerful figure in the National Black Coalition of Federal Aviation Employees (NBCFAE), can be heard promising advance access to test answers in a shocking audio clip obtained by DailyMail.com.

‘There are some valuable pieces of information that I have taken a screenshot of and I am going to send that to you via email,’ says Snow, an air traffic operations supervisor based out of New York.

‘I am about 99.99 percent sure that it is exactly how you need to answer each question.’

The inside info was made available in 2014 to African Americans, females, and other minority candidates – but whites were left out of the loop to ‘minimize competition’.

Exactly how many applicants were able to capitalize on Snow’s brazen offer to secure coveted controller jobs responsible for the safety of millions of fliers remains a mystery.

But one former NBCFAE member, Matthew Douglas, told DailyMail.com: ‘I know several people who cheated and I know several people who are controlling planes as we speak.’

Now Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy announced that he would be looking into the matter further.

“I am launching a full investigation into the DEI hiring allegations at the FAA immediately,” Duffy said. “If true, swift accountability will come for those responsible. We need the best and brightest, not buzzword, DEI hires.”

..The move comes as the Trump administration made it a top priority to eliminate DEI in every facet of the federal government. Executive orders on the topic began on Trump’s first day in office.

Additionally, in late February, Duffy announced the FAA would be streamlining hiring and increasing salaries for certified professional controllers. His announcement was a critical first step in mitigating the years-long controller shortage in this country.

Biden and his ludicrous Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg’s focus on the woke agenda did appreciable damage to this nation’s transportation system. It is going to take an incredible effort to reverse the harm that was done during the last 4 years.

Duffy has his work cut out for him.

“Exactly how many applicants were able to capitalize on Snow’s brazen offer”

all made possible and supported by

brother barak and his affrimaction dei hires of atc pilots etc etc

they are deeply embedded and no telling how many “accidents” arent just swamping the republic

How many generations (or years) will pass before a member of a protected class occupying a desirable position be thought to have earned it, rather than got it through preference.

I am only concerned about walking away from every landing in one piece.

I don’t care if the ATC handling my flight is a black lesbian that practices voodoo as long as she is *competent* at what she does and arrived at her station by merit and her own effort; likewise, I do not want a white guy handling my flight just because he’s white but has little aptitude for anything beyond picking his nose.

I’m not sure why this is difficult to understand.

Back in the day, a good percentage of controllers were PILOTS.

They understood the system, weather, how to fly airplanes and the capability of same.

They had no video game skills (which apparently are now in demand) because there were none in those days. You had to be a master of spatial relations.
