Rage Over Elon Musk and DOGE Brings Out Ugly Nativism in Democrats

Hardly a day goes by without Democrats accusing Trump of being a racist for wanting to deport people who are in the country illegally, yet when it comes to a legal immigrant like Elon Musk, Democrats let their nativist freak flag fly.
There have been a few instances of this, but the most recent one comes from New York Democrat Rep. Nydia Velazquez.

A Democratic Rep. drew criticism on social media Monday when she told DOGE Chief Elon Musk to “Go back to South Africa” and asked “What the hell” he is doing in the United States.
“It was interesting yesterday I was watching a video of an interview of Elon Musk with someone where he said that the Italians should stay in Italy and the Chinese should stay in China, my question to Elon Musk is what the hell are you doing here in America?” Democratic Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez (N.Y.) said outside the HUD Department on Monday evening.

Velazquez, who was born in Puerto Rico, added that the fight against DOGE is the fight “for the soul of our nation.”

Democrat rage over DOGE and Elon Musk is probably going to get worse. Musk made some shocking comments about it during his recent appearance on the Joe Rogan podcast.

During a recent appearance on the Joe Rogan Experience, Elon Musk suggested that he’ll be assassinated if he goes too deep into the corruption in DC.
“It’s more than just insider trading. The stock portfolio stuff is quite trackable, but it’s a lot more than insider trading,” said Musk.
“The way they’re acquiring wealth?” Rogan asked.

“And what other methods,” asked Rogan.
“I mean this is really gonna get me assassinated,” Musk replied. “It’s like, I’m not lengthening my lifespan by explaining this stuff, to say the least. I mean, I was supposed to go back to DC. How am I going to survive? This is fucking going to kill me for sure,” Musk continued.
“In fact, I do think like this… it’s like, I actually have to be careful that I don’t push too hard on the corruption stuff because it’s going to get me killed.”

It’s nice that Musk and Rogan can joke about this but after we have seen two attempts on Trump’s life over the last year, I’m not inclined to laugh.

If Musk started wearing women’s clothes and makeup, and claimed he was transitioning to a woman, Dems would have to celebrate DOGE and his participation in DJT’s administration. His new identity would tie them in knots and force their capitulation.

The difference is that Puerto Rico is the USA, and she was born a US citizen, with the inalienable right to move to NY whenever she liked, without anyone’s permission.
RSA was not the USA, and Musk wasn’t born with an automatic right to move here; he did so by following the legal procedures that Congress provided.
So there is a huge difference between the two, though not one with any practical consequences now that they are both equally US citizens.

But, for Elon, it’s a legitimate question. It’s a legitimate question for all dual nationals. Of course, the answer is easy for Elon – he is a generator of “national security information’, not a consumer, and he risked pretty much everything he had in the 2024 race. If Trump had lost Marcy Kaptur and her America-hating cohort would have taken everything away from Elon (a la the Trump New York Soviet Show Trials, but bigger) and would have thrown him in prison. No doubt. And he was well aware of it all. So, Elon passed the test when he risked everything he’s got in 2024 – and for no reason other than he understood how dangerous the dems are.

I think Musk is worried about exposing how corrupt most the politicians in DC are; both parties. I’ve heard of the practice of loading bills with pork. This is not pork, this is red meat for the scavengers to pick at through shady shifting of money around through NGO’s and other convoluted processes which end up right back in their pockets lawfully. It’s so obvious when looking at the net worth of the politicians but who would have the courage or interest to follow the money and expose these scoundrels? Plus the reality would be painful to see for the average citizen. This would make Menendez look like a petty criminal.
IMO Musk is absolutely right to think that his life is in danger. If tens or even hundreds of billions are being scammed from the Government, the best hit squad to ever exist has to be a pittance in comparison. This guy is possibly the most impressive person of our age and I wish he was not putting his life on the line.

By all means let’s end the practice of ‘dual Nationality’ for Adult US Citizens, defer the selection for minor children until they turn 18.
That would take a constitutional amendment. And even that couldn’t end dual citizenship, because the USA has no say over any other country’s citizenship laws. If North Korea were to decide to award Donald Trump citizenship then he would be a dual citizen, and there would be nothing he or the USA could do about it.
