Pro-Palestinian Activists Vandalize Trump’s Turnberry Golf Resort in Scotland
“To make that clear, we have shown him that his own property is not safe from acts of resistance,” it said in a statement.

Pro-Palestinian activists targeted Trump Turnberry, a golf resort in Scotland owned by President Donald Trump, in a protest against his recent proposal to relocate Gaza’s Palestinian population and redevelop the area. The activist group Palestine Action has claimed responsibility for the act, which included spray-painting slogans and damaging sections of the golf course.
The group said it “rejects Donald Trump’s treatment of Gaza as though it were his property to dispose of as he likes.”
“To make that clear, we have shown him that his own property is not safe from acts of resistance,” it said in a statement.
The activists defaced resort property with graffiti, including messages such as “Gaza is not 4 sale” and “Free Palestine.” Additional damage was reported on parts of the golf course.
Police are investigating:
“Around 4:40 a.m. on Saturday, 8 March, 2025, we received a report of damage to the golf course and a premises on Maidens Road, Turnberry,” a Police Scotland spokesperson said, adding that enquiries were ongoing.”
A representative for Trump Turnberry condemned the attack, calling it a “childish, criminal act” while assuring that resort operations would continue as usual.
This act of vandalism comes in the wake of Trump’s recent press conference with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, where Trump suggested the relocation of Gaza’s Palestinian population.
“The US will take over the Gaza Strip and we will do a job with it too,” Trump said during a joint conference with Netanyahu last month.
Trump made the comments after meeting with the Israeli leader at the White House. Netanyahu responded, saying the idea is “worth paying attention to.”
Trump even shared an AI-created video showing Gaza under a future Trump rule.
Rather than engaging in serious debate or petitioning their governments, the protesters resorted to petty vandalism—a weak and ultimately counterproductive response to a complex geopolitical issue.
Not exactly a winning message.

Looked to me like they used paint & paint rollers to spell out their message, likely in latex paint.
Joke’s on them as latex paint is used to mark the golf course (e.g. out of bounds, lateral hazard, etc). No damage done there.
And any other damage was likely erased before tea (tee?) time the next morning.
Hint: don’t let the people who take care of a place like this catch you vandalizing their hard work. They will not be amused or forgiving.
What could they do about it? It’s Scotland, so there’s no right of self-defense, let alone defense of mere property, and the Scottish government is hostile to anything related to Trump.
No right of self-defense of person or property? Nonsense!
In Scotland? Are you aware of what Scotland is like nowadays?
Actually there seems to be no right to self-defense anywhere in the UK, but Scotland is worse.
Next time choose your words more clearly.
There are quite a few places right here in the states were defensive. Property is a no-no.
One could say a similar thing about the famous Korean shop owners.
Trump Gaza Resort and Casino. How many golf courses would fit after bulldozing the strip? One? Two? He has to make sure one of the restaurants is a BBQ buffet serving whole hog.
What to do with tunnels? Hmmmm? World’s largest wine cellar? Secure records depository? Data center? Offshore bank ala Cayman Islands?
Since anyone who is a Hamas supporter is also a violent proto-monster with no impulse control, it’s hardly surprising that they would call vandalism “resistance” when in fact its just their own desire to damage and destroy.
So now Trump is morally justified in doing to Gaza what Palestine Assholes did to his golf course. Right?
Stoopids.
They sure are making a difference proving to themselves how much they hate and care.
