Trump Admin: Elon Musk is a Special Advisor Like Anita Dunn was to Biden
“He is not an employee of the U.S. DOGE Service or U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization. Mr. Musk is not the U.S. DOGE Service Administrator.”
Director of the Office of Administration Joshua Fisher cleared up Elon Musk’s role in President Donald Trump’s White House.
Musk is a Special Government Employee (I will highlight important parts):
Mr. Musk is an employee of the White House Office. He holds that position as a non-career Special Government Employee (“SGE”).
In that job, Mr. Musk is a Senior Advisor to the President. It is not uncommon for the President to have Senior Advisors who are SGEs. For instance, Anita Dunn was an influential Special Advisor to President Biden, while serving as an SGE.
In his role as a Senior Advisor to the President, Mr. Musk has no greater authority than other senior White House advisors. Like other senior White House advisors, Mr. Musk has no actual or formal authority to make government decisions himself. Mr. Musk can only advise the President and communicate the President’s directives.

I love how Fisher added “non-career” because Dunn started her career in former President Jimmy Carter’s administration.
Dunn became prominent during former President Obama’s administration, serving as White House Communications Director from April to November 2009.
Dunn consistently bashed Fox News, leading former Fox commentator Glenn Beck to reveal a speech she made where she praised Mao Zedong
The administration knew Dunn would not stay long since he wanted to spend more time with the family. However, she stayed close to Obama after she left.
Dunn returned to the White House to work temporarily for former President Joe Biden in January 2021.
Well, Dunn didn’t leave until July 2024 to work on a PAC to support the new Democratic presidential candidate VP Kamala Harris.
Man, oh, man, Dunn went nuclear on Nancy Pelosi and other Democrat leaders when Biden dropped out. She accused them of pushing him out and bypassing Democrat voters since he won the primary.
Musk gets a lot of attention because the media suffers from TDS and wants to destroy anyone associated with the president.
But I also think they’re going after Musk because people in Trump’s administration don’t generally stay behind the scenes like White House workers did during Obama and Biden’s terms. Musk doesn’t hide.
I wonder if Trump put Musk in the SGE role since it doesn’t restrict him only to DOGE.
The U.S. DOGE Service is a component of the Executive Office of the President. The U.S. DOGE Service Trmporary Organization is within the U.S. DOGE Service. Both are separate from the White House Office. Mr. Musk is an employee in the White House Office. He is not an employee of the U.S. DOGE Service or U.S. DOGE Service Temporary Organization. Mr. Musk is not the U.S. DOGE Service Administrator.

All you can do is lol at the left freaking out over this when for decades we had blue ribbon commissions for just this and no one found anything to cut.
Commissions and permanent Inspectors General. How is it possible that IG for the IRS never discovered the hundreds of thousands of people OVER THE AGE OF 100 (some 150+) still in the Social Security payment systems? The only credible answer is the IG never looked to verify the age of SS recipients.
When you’ve spent your entire career spending other people’s money, you just don’t have the same way of thinking about fraud/waste as a person who has to earn his/her living.
Two things:
1. This gives meaning to how much our voting system needs serious changes. No more multiple days after voting day bringing in “votes.” that can change results. Mail-in needs specific parameters that are limited to military and only the. most necessary, not to mention those damned voting machines soros provided all need to be buried in the bottom depths of the ocean.
2, Remember barky’s “tsars?” We should do the same and make them all as nasty as possible towards the thieves and vultures that we formerly called “democrats.” Van Jones types that cause chaos and shouting, because many of us are getting addicted to this form of ENTERTAINMENT!
Hundreds of thousands of people with a bunch over 150 yrs old are still in the system but it wasn’t clear that they were getting paid. Is there evidence of that? The potential for fraud, though, is immense and I’m sure leaving all those people on the rolls was intentional.
I’ve asked this question on X and Gettr this week. WHY WAS JOHN KERRY, CLIMATE CZAR, with an unknown budget and no transparency to anyone, just fine? Biden appointed him with zero oversight as to what he was doing, budget and who worked for him what the difference between him and Elon Musk??
All “czars” are merely advisors to the president, just like Musk. They have no authority, they just figure out what they think should be done, and advise the president to do it. It’s up to him to accept their advice or not to.
I made that point elsewhere in regards to Kerry. The difference is that Kerry was running around pledging to spend US taxpayer money all over the world in support of progressive climate plans and Musk is pledging to stop it.
Unlike Ms. Dunn, he doesn’t decorate his Christmas trees with Chairman Mao ornaments.
Elon Musk is cleaning house. But they’re doing their best to stop him:
“We don’t want a housecleaning. We like living in a filthy, dirty house and we will protest and take you to court to stop you from cleaning out one ounce of dirt.”

I think we need to revise our language as often as the left. I think the acronym of TDS (Trump Derangement Syndrome) has grown outdated and no longer has an influential effect. It should be now redescribed as Severe Trump Derangement, or STD.
Imagine the howls from those so afflicted, which coincidentally, would be yet another symptom of STD.

Republican presidents have just as many “czars” as Democrats do, and no, it’s not a formal title. It’s a title made up by the news industry for a presidential advisor who covers an entire field, such as “cars”, or “climate”, or “efficiency”.

In 2014, Obama created the US Digital Service to fix the fustercluck of a website for obamacare. Obama contracted w/ private I.T. companies to collaberate w/ various govt. agencies to fix all those problems. I don’t recall anyone losing their damn mind because private contractors were working inside the govt. on sensitive healthcare information.
DOGE is now part of the US Digital Service.
