Employee of Boston University Appears to Call for Death of DOGE Members

“Since his post received more widespread attention, May appears to have deleted his X account.”

Some people on the left just can’t help themselves. They have a serious rage problem.

Campus Reform reports:

Boston University worker appears to call for death of DOGE members

An employee from Boston University seemingly threatened the lives of members of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE).

On Monday, Jared May, who works as an assistant media technician at Boston University, shared an image with pictures of DOGE members, captioned: “Wanted for Treason, Dead or Alive,” as seen from a post by Libs of Tiktok.

May wrote: “The men carrying out Musk’s coup are Akash Bobba, Edward Coristine, Luke Farritor, Gautier Cole Killian, Gavin Kliger, and Ethan Shaotran.”

Since his post received more widespread attention, May appears to have deleted his X account.

May’s post garnered condemnation, including from Elon Musk, the head of Doge, who replied to the Libs of TikTok post about May: “He has committed a crime.”

This is not the first time that a university worker or professor calls for violence against political figures.

Following the assassination attempt on then-candidate Donald Trump in July, several professors expressed their disappointment that the would-be assassin had failed.

Professor Stacey Patton from Morgan State University penned an article titled: “‘Is He Dead?’ Why Black People Are Not Grieving The Failed Assassination Of Donald Trump.”

John James, formerly an instructor at Bellarmine University, wrote: “If you’re gonna shoot, man, don’t miss,” in reference to the attempt on Trump’s life. James was fired following his comments.

No. The FBI should look into it. Not DOGE’s job.

On the left, there sure is a lot of “If I do’t get my way, I’m going to immediately resort to violence.”

Now I sit by my window, and I watch the cars /
I fear I’ll do some damage one fine day /
But I would not be convicted by a jury of my peers /
Still crazy after all these years…

It’s not a crime, so the FBI should not have any role in it.

Remember, it is already long-established law that a government entity is not even allowed to fire an employee for calling for the president’s assassination, unless that employee has a public-facing role and the knowledge that she had made the call would interfere with her ability to do her job. A fortiori no criminal sanctions would be allowed.

Boston University is a private institution, so it’s legally free to fire this guy, but if it aspires to adhere to the first amendment internally then it shouldn’t.

He should be fired out of a cannon.

Someone should tell Jaarred that AOC still won’t date him.

Well Mildew….Except the FBI does investigate possible death and violence threats to see if they are real and credible. We ALL remember the FBI going ballistic investigating a garage door pull( not a crime) and investigating the parents expressing concern over what was happening in their kids’ schools at board meetings ( also not a crime)…. But when it’s the left it’s (D)ifferent huh..,,

Sorry, Case, but there is no actual threat. It’s just political comment with neither incitement nor intent. He may have intended to do violence or to incite violence, but it isn’t in the post.

There goes caseoftheblues, another of the cabal of filthy liars who pretend that I’m some kind of leftist, or that I have double standards, when it’s patently obvious that they have not just double standards but no standards at all, and simply decide on a position on any issue based entirely on whose ox is gored.

The FBI has for decades routinely violated the constitution and people’s rights. So to say that the FBI does something is not an argument, and if you call on it to violate other people’s rights you forfeit any right to criticize it when it violates yours or those of someone you like.
