Mitch McConnell said Musk should slow down. He said Musk should use a scalpel instead of a chain saw to cut waste, fraud and abuse.
So far Musk has cut about 55 billion and has billions and billions more to go. If he were to cut a million a day, it would take 55,000 days to cut 55 billion. How many years is that?
Bitch is the past. Musk is the future.
The folks doing the complaining about cutting too fast, too far or too deeply had their own opportunity to make the cuts in more measured way. They chose not to impose meaningful cuts when in a position to impose them. These establishment voices should be ignored just as they repeatedly ignored the wishes of their constituents in demanding spending cuts for decades.
