AG Pam Bondi Hopes to Release Epstein Files on Thursday: ‘It’s Pretty Sick’

“Jesse, there are well over — this will make you sick — 200 victims.”

I’m not getting my hopes up, but Attorney General Pam Bondi hopes to release the Jeffrey Epstein files today.

Bondi told Jesse Watters on Wednesday:

WATTERS: “You said last week that you have the Epstein files on your desk.”

BONDI: “I do.”

WATTERS: “When can we see them? And what’s taking so long to release them?”

BONDI: “I do. Jesse, there are well over — this will make you sick — 200 victims. 200. So we have — well over, over 250, actually. So we have to make sure that their identity is protected, and their personal information. But other than that, I think tomorrow — you know, the personal information of victims. Other than that, I think tomorrow, Jesse, breaking news right now, you’re going to see some Epstein information being released by my office.”

I honestly want to know who is not on the list because it seems that everyone had connections to Epstein.

“What you’re going to see, hopefully tomorrow, is a lot of flight logs, a lot of names, a lot, a lot of information,” Bondi added. “But, it’s pretty sick what that man did … along with his co-defendant.”

Bondi explained that the DOJ needs to take steps to protect the victims’ identities and personal information.

Hmmm

Fri news release.

Yeah right. Whatever. Chances of the Epstein files being released without extensive redactions to make them worthless just isn’t going to happen. And that will be the end of it.

How many pages will be mostly black, redaction blocks?

Capone’s vault?

Not thrilled with Bondi’s games here.

Say what you’ll do and do what you say. Knock it off with the teasing.

Bill Clinton’s response-

“This proves, as I’ve always maintained, that I am not a pedophile. Nobody ever asked me if I was an ephebophile.”

Where are the arrests and prosecutions?

If Trump or any other high-profile R were involved the files they would have been leaked long ago.
I wonder what the Clinton Foundation has threatened to do if they get released?

With respect to what will be disclosed, a few weeks ago conservative legal expert and 1a advocate Ted Frank offered these words about what to expect…

“Anyone hoping the Epstein files will implicate people not already implicated is going to be very disappointed. Boies Schiller represented a bunch of putative victims and left no stone unturned, suing everyone remotely involved with Epstein, including JP Morgan Chase, who was guilty solely of letting Epstein park his money there, and coughed up $290 million rather than face a New York jury and the New York press; and the FBI, whose culpability isn’t even tertiary.”

I think this is probably the correct take.

Just like the JFK files, if they actually release something, at this point I simply don’t believe that it will be the complete and accurate files.

Why is this a media event? She should be talking in front of a grand jury — not a camera.

Bondies on TV every single day it’s ridiculous

MarkS in reply to George S. | February 27, 2025 at 1:52 pm

It’s a media event because she plans on no prosecutions

TargaGTS in reply to George S. | February 27, 2025 at 2:20 pm

Statutes of limitations have all almost certainly expired. Most are 7-years but some of the trafficking and crimes involving minor children are 10-years. In 2022, the federal statutes were amended to increase the statutes of limitations on human trafficking to 25 and even 30-yaers under some some circumstances. But, that would only be applicable to crimes committed after 2022.

MarkS in reply to TargaGTS. | February 27, 2025 at 6:11 pm

There is no federal statute of limitations for rape, sexual assault, or sexual assault of a child. so Bondi just lost another excuse

TargaGTS in reply to MarkS. | February 27, 2025 at 9:24 pm

Now there isn’t. The Statute of Limitations for some of these crimes today have either been lengthened extensively or removed entirely. But, that wasn’t the law way back throughout the 1990s and into the early 2000s, when these crimes are alleged to have been committed. If you look at some of the women who were victims, they’re in their 30s now, and even some are older. If you read the original federal Epstein indictment, you get a sense for the problem the legal limitations were as most of the charges cover activity from 2005 and later even though criminal conduct from much earlier is described in detail. They couldn’t charge that. The other issue is they can only bring these kinds of charges when there’s some federal nexus, like the Mann Act being violated or money laundering or wire fraud, etc. Whatever Epstein did to these young women in his home, or anyplace where state lines weren’t crossed or other triggering offenses not alleged, it’s tough to make it a federal case. The same would be true for all the ‘Johns’ that were involved.

The guy who appointed her is in several photos with Epstein and appears on his flight logs. Hello?

    Wrong see your butt

One would think that after eight years of investigating Trump by federal, state and local authorities they would not miss an Epstein connection.

Unless one doesn’t think too well.

    Virginia42 in reply to SeymourButz. | February 27, 2025 at 12:59 pm

    Yeah. No.

    diver64 in reply to SeymourButz. | February 27, 2025 at 1:56 pm

Trump also immediately kicked Epstein out of Mar a Lag when he found out Epstein was hitting on girls and disassociated from him. There is no there there but don’t let that stop your TDS from trying to make a connection

Trump banned him from Maralagi and fully cooperated with the investigation.

TargaGTS in reply to SeymourButz. | February 27, 2025 at 4:56 pm

Trump, like a lot of celebrities at the time, used Epstein’s plane, mostly for interstate travel. Some of them paid for their flights while others didn’t. Cameron Diaz and even Stephan Hawking’s names are on those flight logs (which were released about 4-years ago. But, no evidence has ever been uncovered nor have their been any allegations made from victims that Trump was anywhere near that island.

that guy is also the one that helped with the prosecution of Epstein

Maybe wait until Bondi releases the files to get worked up about the files being incomplete or whatever? Nah.

I’d rather she spend this time going after the Hamas-lovers at Barnard and other places.

Bill Clinton lived on the island for 3 1/2 years.

NotSoFriendlyGrizzly | February 27, 2025 at 1:39 pm

If all she’s waiting on is for the identifying info of the victims being redacted, I have no problem with that. They’ve had enough crap out of life so far, they sure don’t need any more from the media and liberals.

If there’s other information that gets redacted though….

IMO, after watching interviews with some of these “victims” I am of the opinion that even though underage, they were enthusiastic participants

nordic prince in reply to MarkS. | February 27, 2025 at 2:31 pm

So? That’s just as bad as claiming “she led me on” – no excuse for that kind of baloney.

The perps were adults, and knew better. They knew it was wrong.

TargaGTS in reply to MarkS. | February 27, 2025 at 4:53 pm

Both of age and underage victims of sex trafficking are often willing participants (at first). That’s why they’re targeted, preyed upon. But, for the minor children they’re unable to legally consent to what they’re doing. Their naive willingness is part of the insidious nature of this type of criminal activity.

At least five X posters have hard copies of phase one. So it will be out today.

Absolutely nothing new in any of the documents that were released. Some observers have noticed much of it is identical to what was released via FOIA requests several years ago. Bondi is blaming SDNY and the New York field office of the FBI.

One of the problems in hiring someone as Attorney General with no federal law enforcement and/or DoJ experience is…they have no federal law enforcement and/or DoJ experience. If you want something from the bureaucracies, you have to send your own henchmen to physically collect that something and not rely on the bureaucracy to voluntarily give it up. It’s not a great look for her.

Martin in reply to TargaGTS. | February 27, 2025 at 4:17 pm

If documents requested by the AG were not sent to her then DOJ personnel responsible to get the should be fired for cause. Then the order goes out again rinse and repeat until you get what you ask for.

Willingness to expose the coverup is a very good look. It’s a primary requisite and essential and builds morale. That’s what the troops need right now.

People encouraged by her show of courage will step up and lend aid.

“Jesse, there are well over — this will make you sick — 200 victims.”
I’m not interested in knowing details about the victims.
I’m interested in the identities of the victimizers.

Not a good look for AG Bondi. If you make claims about the ‘sickening evidence, sitting on the desk’ all to great public fanfare, then shut out the relevant Congressional Committees and end up releasing a warmed over nothing burger. B/c 99% of it is old news… That’s just plain stupid.

Then publicly blaming the SDNY office? You are the AG and they work for you. Everything they do or fail to do is 100% your responsibility. You set yourself up for a rug pull in public b/c you didn’t have what you claimed nor does it seem as if you even reviewed it before making public your hyped up claims making it easy to embarrass you.
