Trump Signs Laken Riley Act
The legislation, named after Augusta University nursing student Laken Riley, would mandate the government “detaining” illegal aliens “charged with theft or burglary.”

Surrounded by Laken Riley’s family, President Donald Trump signed the Laken Riley Act into law.
“We’ve gathered this afternoon to take another historic action… In a few moments, the Laken Riley Act will become the very first bill that I proudly sign into law as the 47th President of the United States,” he said.
SIGNED: The Laken Riley Act is officially the law of the land — the first bill signed into law of President Trump's second term.

The legislation, named after Augusta University nursing student Laken Riley, would mandate the government “detaining” illegal aliens “charged with theft or burglary.”
Athens-Clarke County Superior Court Judge H. Patrick Haggard found illegal alien Jose Antonio Ibarra, 26, guilty of murdering Riley.
According to Fox News, the NYPD arrested Ibarra “a year after he entered the U.S. in August 2023 and was ‘charged with acting in a manner to injure a child less than 17 and a motor vehicle license violation.’”
“This horrific atrocity should never have been allowed to happen — and as president, I’m fighting every single day to ensure that such a tragedy never happens again,” Trump proclaimed.

Wouldn’t everybody be in favor of preventing another girl like Laken Riley from being raped and killed by a violent illegal criminal?
No. Only 12 senate Democrats voted for this bill.
The Dhimmi-crats are manifestly vile, stupid and evil. It’s indefensible to not support this bill.
now let the Soros DAs commence never charging them.
I noticed that at the end of the signing when Trump was still talking to the people behind him and handing out the pens that a reporter asked a question. I couldn’t hear what the person said, but Trump responded that it was not the appropriate time for that question.
Good for him!
You’re right, Liz. Trump handled that like the pro that he is.
now we need to make DAs who don’t charge illegals with felonies for woke BS reasons face civil liability if they commit further crimes.
Yes, make them suffer the consequences for their actions!!
And don’t forget that the Democrats voted AGAINST this bill.
The wretched Dhimmi-crats are a total disgrace. They care more about illegal aliens than the citizens of the U.S.
“This horrific atrocity should never have been allowed to happen…”
Applies equally to Riley’s murder and the Biden Administration.
