Caroline Kennedy Tries to Sabotage RFK Jr’s HHS Nomination

“It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets, because Bobby himself is a predator.”

Caroline Kennedy is doing her best to derail her cousin Robert F. Kennedy, Jr’s nomination to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. In the video below, she reads the malicious missive she sent on Tuesday to members of the Senate Finance Committee and the Senate Committee on Health, Education, Labor and Pensions, who are set to question Kennedy on Wednesday and Thursday, respectively.

Caroline, who served as the U.S. ambassador to Australia in the Biden administration and the U.S. ambassador to Japan during the Obama administration, called her cousin a “predator” who is “addicted to attention and power.”

She said she “never wanted to speak publicly about my family members and their challenges” but if confirmed, her cousin would be tasked with “protecting the most vulnerable among us, I feel an obligation to speak out.”

She continued, “He lacks any relevant government, financial, management or medical experience. His views on vaccines are dangerous and willfully misinformed. These facts alone should be disqualifying, but he has personal qualities related to this job, which for me pose even greater concern.”

“It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets, because Bobby himself is a predator. He’s always been charismatic, able to attract others through the strength of his personality, his willingness to take risks, and break the rules.”

“I watched his younger brothers and cousins follow him down the path of drug addiction. His basement, his garage, his dorm room were always the center of the action.”

Caroline admitted that was a long time ago and he overcame his drug and alcohol problems. “But siblings and cousins who Bobby encouraged down the path of substance abuse suffered addiction, illness, and death, while Bobby has gone on to misrepresent, lie, and cheat his way through life.”

For the record, Kennedy has been drug and alcohol-free since 1984 and remains an active member of AA.

She pivoted to Kennedy’s vaccine hesitancy which, of course, is relevant. But then she blamed him for a deadly outbreak of measles in American Samoa. “His constant denigration of our health care system, the half-truths he’s told, including in connection with Samoa’s deadly 2019 outbreak of measles have cost lives.”

She claimed her cousin had “expropriated my father’s image and distorted President Kennedy’s legacy to advance his own failed presidential campaign and then groveled to Donald Trump for a job.”

“It’s incomprehensible to me that someone who is willing to exploit their own painful family tragedies for publicity would be put in charge of America’s life-and-death situations,” she added.

Caroline concluded by asking the senators to reject Kennedy’s nomination.

Frankly, aside from a bitter woman who loathes her cousin, I didn’t hear anything disqualifying in her remarks. The attacks against Kennedy were ad hominem rather than focused on his qualifications.

The knives are coming out for Kennedy from every possible direction, just as they did for Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth last week.

You may have heard reports that 17,000 doctors have signed a letter calling on the Senate to reject Kennedy’s nomination.

On Jan. 9, CBS reported:

In a letter posted online by the Committee to Protect Health Care, a physician organization that advocates for health policy issues, thousands of doctors urge senators to reject the nomination of Kennedy, saying he is “unqualified to lead” and is “actively dangerous.”

Yikes, 17000 doctors. Sounds ominous, doesn’t it?

Jillian Michaels, media personality and fitness instructor to the stars, did a little digging and discovered it was a fake letter. As it turns out, anyone can sign the letter. You don’t even have to be a doctor. In fact, she signed it twice!

And the clincher: The group behind the letter is the Arabella Advisors, a firm that oversees the “most powerful left-wing dark money network in America,” according to Fox News.

The Fox article goes on to say, “Arabella Advisors-managed nonprofits house dozens of liberal nonprofits, including one that works with the Biden administration on policy.”

Michaels explains how she uncovered this information in the clip below.

And many Democrats who once respected Kennedy, such as Massachusetts Sen. Ed Markey, are opposed to his nomination. Markey now considers Kennedy “unqualified, unserious and dangerous.”

President Obama considered nominating Kennedy to run the Environmental Protection Agency in 2008.

Finally, for anyone who might be interested, I included a podcast from Attorney Alan Dershowitz, who knew all of the members of the Kennedy family very well – including the patriarch, Joseph P. Kennedy, JFK, RFK, Sr, and Ted Kennedy.

After hearing of Caroline Kennedy’s letter, he weighed in on the situation. He shared quite a few interesting anecdotes that I found fascinating and thought you might too.

Spoiler: He doesn’t much care for Caroline.

I downloaded “The Real Anthony Fauci” from Amazon a couple of years ago. It’s an eye opener, heavily referenced and footnoted – one chapter had, IIRC, over 120 references. The bibliography is as large as a chapter.

I’m no fan of his politics but yes, Kennedy did his home work.

It’s an eye opener, RFK jr exposes what needs to be brought to light

Yes, author is intelligent and made many good points. He shows some naïveté on business finance, and his chapter on AIDS almost disqualified the whole book unfortunately. (Spoiler alert, he thinks there are strong arguments that the AIDS virus doesn’t cause AIDS, a perfectly reasonable position 40 years ago that is now discredited).

Thanks for the recommendation. I’ve been thinking about watching it.

This has to be the most savagely political and wholly dysfunctional family in the history of the Republic. What they will say and do out of political expedience legit shocks the conscious particularly considering how they rallied around two of their family members who raped or killed women. And yet, RFK, Jr’s disqualifying event is his endorsement of a Republican in a race against the most unqualified major-party nominee in history.

Who could have foreseen a last minute effort to derail a nomination? /S

The establishment across the board is freaking out b/c of the nomination of folks to positions of power who are going to disrupt their various grift and gravy trains.

RFK, Jr is a charlatan and should not be in a position of power in our government. I cite his involvement with the glyphosate lawsuits as proof. He’s full of (bleep) and I am certain that Mr. Trump can do better just as he did with Mr. Rubio’s eventual nomination.

The entire Kennedy clan are wretched (bleep). The only reason that you’re hearing from RFK and his cousin Caroline is due to the megalomania of their grandfather.

Wow! Calling RFKJr. a predator is way over the line. She offers no evidence of his being a sexual predator, but identifies his influence over younger cousins in his youth as having been predatory. Apparently, she believes he was a force for evil., especially as he was an open drug user at the time. RFKJr has been clean for forty years. Gosh, Caroline, forty years is long enough.

Dershowitz knows the family; he was a confidant of Ted Kennedy.
He thinks Caroline should be cross-examined on the accusations in her letter. Dershowitz himself gave the Senators some ammunition. Caroline was very cold to Dershowirtz at a dinner party, and when he asked for an explanation, she stated he had defended Trump. Yeah … and Dershowitz replied that he had also defended Ted Kennedy as one of his lawyers. Dershowitz pointed out that in Ted Kennedy’s situation someone had died. But Ted still deserved a defense. Caroline is too fiercly partisan to show any mercy to a cousin who finally beat addiction, or a social friend who failed a political purity test.

Caroline Kennedy seems to be a sadly bitter woman, judgmental and unforgiving. And a very ungracious cousin.

He offered his own evidence in his own diary, he lists the number of women he needed, I’m sure a family tradition, seeing as his uncle’s and father were well know to have multiple extramarital affairs.
His first wife hung herself, he of course was having affairs prior to asking for a divorce.

He had an awful, extremely public tragic loss of both his father and uncle… one of 12, probably rudderless with only a murderous cad to give male direction and support in the family… good old murderous Ted.

Seems he turned his life around, at least became very productive and did some very good things in life, like cleaning up our horrific nasty rivers

I believe there is a lot wrong with many vaccines, not all, but many. And the industry should be made to be accountable

I also believe that our processed food is poisonous and we can thank Bobby, along with others for at least bringing this to the forefront

I think he could do a lot of good for our country if he is not allowed to go sideways with some of his crazy beliefs.

Who cares what this spoilt, weather-worn, bucktoothed, old hag thinks about anything?

I admire the sport of falconry and anyone who is successful at it. RFKJr may be Trump’s coolest appointment….right after Pete “Deus Vult” Hegseth.

This video may be of interest to some: Nicole Shanahan, RFK Jr.’s running mate, says that if certain Senators vote “NO” on RFK during his Confirmation Hearing she will *personally* fund challengers to primary them in their next election and enlist hundreds of thousands to join her.

She is gonna unleash MAHA on the Democrats. https://x.com/AutismCapital/status/1884454258986389652

“It’s no surprise that he keeps birds of prey as pets, because Bobby himself is a predator.”

From what I remember of her public appearances of the past, this should read, “Like…it’s no surprise that he – yah-know, keeps birds of prey as pets and stuff, because, like, Bobby himself is a [uprise tone] predatorrrrr?”

So much for “Sweet Caroline”.

Hard choice for me as I have never been a fan of any of the Kennedy Clan. RFK jr may have some ability in some areas but I’m no authority on medical issues. What I suspect is that DC knows he has the potential to blow the lid off much of what they want kept tightly sealed. I doubt he is confirmed.

If he destroys the regulatory capture of the health services by the drug companies, Fox News will have only pillows to sponsor its programming. Only USA and New Zealand allow TV drug advertising. I want to projectile vomit every time I see the multicultural, intersectional denizens of mythically tidy neighborhoods prancing to musical accompaniment down the street, high-fiving each other with visages of orgasmic joy, celebrating yet another new drug.

Whitewall in reply to E Howard Hunt. | January 29, 2025 at 9:27 am

Didn’t the advertising of drugs by their mfg come about around the same time lawyers began advertising on tv?

E Howard Hunt in reply to Whitewall. | January 29, 2025 at 9:34 am

I think so. I wish they would bring back booze and cigarette commercials. They were entertaining and aspirational.

The rugged Marlboro man and the hard working dude who stops in after work at a friendly pub for a few Black Labels served by Mabel.

Isn’t it amazing how many last-minute scandals pop up just before a hearing involving a Republican appointee? Remember Kavanaugh, Hegseth, or Bondi? Trump?????? The MSM never quits even though we are on to them and their pitiful smears.

My only comment: the Kennedy clan is one messed up family…

Republicans swayed by a Kennedy’s talking points? Toe the line or end up in a broom closet with a non-functioning rotary phone.

So what if he’s a Kennedy? He’s an individual. The fact he’s a Kennedy, or a member of any other group, matters less to me than the message he has. Instead of concentrating on who he is, let’s listen to what he says.

I don’t want drug companies advertising prescription medicines.

I also don’t want the FDA limiting what drugs your doctor can prescribe.

I’m shocked that anyone would use the power of a surname for personal advancement. You wouldn’t, would you ambassador?

Caroline Kennedy she “never wanted to speak publicly…”

Reason? She cannot speak, she’s an inarticulate babbling fool.

Caroline Kennedy demonstrates the vile and evil Dhimmi-crats’ Maoist/Stalinist ethos — Party comes before family, always.

“She claimed her cousin had “expropriated my father’s image and distorted President Kennedy’s legacy to advance his own failed presidential campaign and then groveled to Donald Trump for a job.”

Absolutely nothing like an unqualified woman who used her father’s legacy to get an ambassadorial post from sexual predator Joe Biden.

JFK was sleeping with an East German spy during late 1963. Got to say…equal opportunity Jack. Talk about East-West relations. The “true” legacy has been warped from day one after Dallas.

I don’t give a flying fck about the Kennedy family, and I doubt that anyone south or west of Harrisburg, PA does either. They are nothing but white trash with inherited money. That includes RFK Jr., a complete nutcase that Trump picked up last summer in return for an appointment.

If he fails to get confirmed, everyone will be better off. This has nothing to do with my attitude toward Trump or his plans. The entire Kennedy family is toxic from the word go, and none of them belong in government at any level.
