Neil Cavuto Leaving Fox News After 28 Years

Neil Cavuto Leaving Fox News After 28 Years

His last day is Thursday.

Mediaite reported that Thursday is Neil Cavuto’s last day at Fox News after 28 years.

Cavuto has been with the network since it started in the late 90s.

Cavuto is not leaving because “of any bad blood.” His contract is up.

Fox News offered a new contract, but “he declined to accept his new deal.”

Fox News released this statement: “Neil Cavuto’s illustrious career has been a master class in journalism and we’re extremely proud of his incredible 28-year run with FOX News Media. His programs have defined business news and set the standard for the entire industry. We wish him a heartfelt farewell and all the best on his next chapter.”

Mediaite noted that Cavuto has been critical of President-elect Donald Trump since his first term. However, if the criticism had anything to do with him leaving, he probably would have been gone a long time ago:

Over the past few years, Cavuto has become an iconoclast on Fox’s dayside programming, a rare voice willing to call out President-elect Donald Trump and face his wrath in return. Outside of politics, Cavuto has been open about his decades-long battle with multiple sclerosis and became a vocal critic of Covid vaccine denialism after a second bout of the virus nearly took his life.

Despite Cavuto’s tussles with Trump, a source said Cavuto’s departure has nothing to do with Trump. If his occasional criticism of Trump had been an issue, his show would have likely been canceled years ago, certainly before the election.

Cavuto hosted Your World, Cavuto Live, and Cavuto: Coast to Coast.

Fox News and Fox Business will have new programming in 2025, a source told Mediaite.

I doubt Trump had anything to do with it and believe his health is the reason. Although a critic of Trump, I didn’t find him on the lunatic TDS fringe, he just didn’t like him or his policies.
As for the “Covid Vaccine Denialism”, I never denied there was a vaccine, I denied the attempt to force perfectly healthy people of little risk to take the experimental gene therapy. If at risk people like Cavuto want to take it then more power to them.

Technical point…. the definition of “vaccine” was changed solely to widen the characteristics of the injection as its effect was not the same as the long standing definition. The mRNA based injections were not classical vaccines but to sell the public on them, it was altered (i.e. mangled).

A lot of real science was destroyed to accommodate these new symptom inhibitors. That is what got my immediate attention and why I waited to get the drug, As the hype increased so did my wariness …fortunately.

It also could that Cavuto is leaving simply because the only people who watch FAKE NEWS are old as dirt Republicans who continue to nap when he comes on the screen.

Cavuto used to be a fun, easy-to-bait, guest on Imus but was always a dope on Fox thereafter.

Imagine how stupid you must be to ‘barely survive a 2nd bout w/Covid’ that was contracted after being fully vaccinated and boosted and still believe the vaccines were effective. It boggles the mind.

He’s always claimed he doesn’t see red or blue (in political terms,) only green. Well how could he be critical of Trump who had a great economy. I quit watching Neil when he complained about Trump’s tweets. He won’t be missed.

If Cavuto talked economy, he was mediocre. If he talked politics he was as bad as CNN when it came to Trump. The only two Trump haters left are Eric Shawn and Arthel. Shawn is the toupee-wearing troll who said Trump wanted the classified papers to sell to the Russians! Arthel has hated Trump since 2016. Jennifer Griffin hates him also but hides it most of the time.

No way the experimental jabs did him or his multiple sclerosis any favors.
