Trump Picks Todd Blanche, Who Represented Him in New York, as Deputy Attorney General
Blanche gained national attention with his stony glare behind Trump as he talked to the press during his trial.
President-elect Donald Trump picked Todd Blanche to serve as Deputy Attorney General.
Blanche represented Trump during his “hush money” case in New York.
Who could forget the glare??
President-elect Trump has tapped Todd Blanche, who represented him in several criminal cases, to be the No. 2 lawyer at the Department of Justice https://t.co/oHg8c7YPCC
— CNN Breaking News (@cnnbrk) November 14, 2024
“Todd is an excellent attorney who will be a crucial leader in the Justice Department, fixing what has been a broken System of Justice for far too long,” said Trump. “Todd prosecuted gangs and other federal crimes as a Chief in the Southern District of New York United States Attorney’s Office, clerked for two Federal Judges, and graduated with Honors from law school, while working full time at the SDNY.”
Unfortunately, the hush money case led to a guilty verdict for Trump.
Blanche, a realist, said that the team expected guilty verdicts. Anyone with a brain could not take that case seriously at all.
