The Political Comeback of the Century Week at Legal Insurrection

The Political Comeback of the Century Week at Legal Insurrection

All the news you may have missed.

What a week it’s been. Can you believe this is real?

Trump had great support.

Joe Biden sure seems happy about it.

Cue the lefty meltdowns.

There are so many of these…

It’s hilarious and sad.

This is when it became real.

Some post election analysis.

The Harris campaign made a lot of mistakes.

California did two things right.

And one thing wrong.

There needs to be a reckoning on this.

Trump needs serious security.

Of course…

Israel updates.

This was horrifying.

Democrats are in a very difficult position.

Most of the drop in the Harris 2024 totals vs biden 2020 totals are in the heavily blue states and the heavily Red states where the Harris votes dont matter.
For example California had approx 2m fewer harris votes while trump had approx 300k more votes in 2024 vs 2020. ( actual CA totals for 2024 are estimates since CA has only posted 72% of the vote as of the Sunday after the election)

Those “lost” votes, were fake ballots, yes, millions of them

81 million votes MS

See my comment above, most of the lost votes were in heavy blue states and heavy red states where their votes didnt really matter

The total vote cast for the two major parties was 26.7 million more in 2020 than in 2016, and (currently) 16.9 million more in 2024 than in 2016.
Vote total for 2024 (currently) is down 9.8 million from 2020.
    Between 2020 and now;
    Democrats lost 10.3 million votes.
    Republicans gained 0.5 million votes.

There’s no systemic (common to the system of vote counting) reason why some states can count 90%+ of their initial vote totals within hours while others take days – or a week, is there?

As I understand it, both electronic and mechanical cast votes are counted automatically by machines. The polling place sends the totals downriver to the districts, the districts send them down river to the counties, the counties send them to the states.

Yet…. it seems some states, in particular (D) states, aren’t able to count until long after the rest. Either those slow mo states are incompetent or they’re VERY competent but playing a different game than the merely competent states.

Was it Stalin or Lenin who quipped that it’s better to be counting the votes than to be casting them, or words to that effect?

I understand close races may require recounts, and checks of provisional votes, but the INITIAL vote counts need to be counted and reported all in the same time frame, if vote integrity is important.

50 States are still counting votes!!! Don’t conflate high margins of victory and low margins of victory. A winner can be called early in one and late in another. But, they are all still counting the votes.

The FEMA story of not helping storm victims if they had a Trump sign was omitted from the above list. I think it newsworthy regarding this administrations practices as both Florida as well as North Carolina had a less than stellar response from the feds. Not that I would expect them to do a stellar job on a good day.

I think what James Woods said to his partner Louis Gossett in Diggstown after Gossett won his prizefights applies here to President Trump: “.. what you did tonight… couldn’t be done”.
