‘RIP, Canada’: Montreal Burned With Antisemitic Riots While Justin Trudeau Partied at Taylor Swift Concert

On November 5th, Americans (thankfully) rejected the feckless leadership of the Biden-Harris administration by electing Donald Trump to a second term in office.
Unfortunately, our neighbors to the north are still being subjected to feckless leadership in the form of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, as evidenced by what he was doing Friday night as pro-Hamas demonstrators and anarchist rioters converged in Montreal to wreak havoc and set things on fire:
Three people were arrested after pro-Palestinian, anti-NATO protesters smashed windows, clashed with police officers, and set vehicles ablaze on Friday evening.
The protest coincided with the arrival of approximately 300 delegates from NATO member states and partner countries attending a high-level summit, running from Nov. 22 to 25 in Montreal, focused on Ukraine, climate change, and the alliance’s future. The protest also came as the second day of the wave of student-wide pro-Palestinian protests across Montreal.

The protesters then marched down St-Urbain St. At 6:10 p.m., tensions escalated as demonstrators set an effigy of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on fire in the middle of the crowd. As the march continued, objects — including small explosive devices and metal items — were hurled into the street, targeting police officers. By 6:40 p.m., protesters had smashed shop windows near St-Urbain and René-Lévesque Blvd., and set two vehicles ablaze.

Quebec was flooded with pro-Palestine protests on Thursday as 85,000 students across 13 university campuses went on strike for two days to demand their universities divest from Israel.
According to one of the organizing groups – Coalition de résistance pour l’unité étudiante syndicale (CRUES) – the strikes were designed to coincide with the opening of the NATO conference in Montreal. CRUES accused Nato of refusing aid to Palestinians, and of approving of “the ongoing genocide.”

According to CTV News, a protest leader led a chant saying “Listen to the ICC,” which comes just after the court announced arrest warrants against Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant.
One student told CTV News that the protest took up all 12 floors of the main Concordia building [in Montreal], and that “Free Gaza” was spray painted on lockers.

Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre, who is poised to challenge Trudeau in the next Canadian election, was understandably not amused by the PM’s priorities nor his weak response, and scorched him on the Twitter/X machine:

This is what happens when a Prime Minister spends 9 years pushing toxic woke identity politics, dividing and subdividing people by race, gender, vaccine status, religion, region, age, wealth, etc.
On top of driving people apart, you systematically break what used to bring us together, saying Canada is a “post-national state” with “no core identity.”
You erased our veterans and military, the Famous Five and even Terry Fox from our passport to replace them with meaningless squirrels, snowflakes and a drawing of yourself swimming as a boy.
You opened the borders to terrorists and lawbreakers and called anyone who questioned it racist.
You send out your MPs to say one thing in a mosque and the opposite in a synagogue, one thing in a mandir and the opposite in a gurdwara.
You have made Canada a playground for foreign interference. You allowed Iran’s IRGC terrorists to legally operate here for four years after they murdered 55 of our citizens in a major unprovoked attack.
You passed laws that release rampant offenders from prison within hours of their 80th arrest.
And what is the result? Assassinations on Canadian soil, firebombings of synagogues, extremist violence against mandirs and gurdwaras, over 100 churches burned or vandalized (with barely any condemnation from you), all for a total 251% more hate crime.
And, while you were dancing, Montreal was burning.

It’s been my experience in life that when someone threatens you, believe them and act accordingly.
If they cry once they’ve been bloodied stating that they weren’t actually serious then that’s on them. Be careful what you say in the future.
Which is an excellent example of what’s wrong in our digital age – people say things behind their computers that they’d never say in a barroom for fear of getting their nose flattened.
Pain is a strong motivator and shouldn’t be discounted or discouraged in public discourse.
I can’t speak for Canada, but in the USA laws are to protect criminals from law-abiding citizens.
Laws were meant to be broken, as should a few noses…just saying.
Not one protester will have their bank accounts frozen.
Fire hoses turned on the savages would have dissuaded them from further violence.
