Non-Credible Bomb Threats in Fulton County, Georgia, Were From Russia

Georgia Sec. of State Brad Raffensperger said the non-credible bomb threats at five stations in Fulton County were “of Russian origin.”

I wrote about how security officials claimed Russians wanted to meddle in the election, especially in swing states.

He said:

We heard of some threats that were of Russian origin and I don’t know how to describe it if that’s viable, we don’t think they are but in the interest of public safety we always check that out and we’ll just continue to be very responsive when we hear about stuff like that.We identified the source and it was from Russia.

A reporter asked for elaboration, but Raffensperger repeated that it was a bomb threat without more details.

“There up to some mischief, it seems, and they don’t want us to have a smooth and fair and accurate election and they think they can get us to fight amongst ourselves. They can count that as a victory,” he added.

Again, I just have such a hard time believing any of this.
