Israel Reportedly Destroyed Iranian Nuclear Weapons Site in Recent Strike
The Axios: “The Israeli attack on Iran in late October destroyed an active top secret nuclear weapons research facility in Parchin.”
Israel destroyed a secret Iranian nuclear weapons site in its recent airstrike, Israeli journalist Barak Ravid reported Friday in the Axios news website. “The Israeli attack on Iran in late October destroyed an active top secret nuclear weapons research facility in Parchin,” the news website reported, quoting U.S. officials.
The Israeli airstrike, conducted on October 26, successfully “destroyed sophisticated equipment used to design the plastic explosives that surround uranium in a nuclear device and are needed to detonate it,” the Axios article added.
The airstrike, named “Days of Repentance,” was in response to an Iranian aerial attack in which around 180 missiles were fired at Israel in early October. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) did not disclose hitting any rogue nuclear targets, but the Israeli media reported that around 20 Iranian targets linked to the regime’s air defense systems and missile production sites were hit during the strike.

Axios reported:
The Israeli attack on Iran in late October destroyed an active top secret nuclear weapons research facility in Parchin, according to three U.S. officials, one current Israeli official and one former Israeli official. (…)
One former Israeli official briefed on the strike said it destroyed sophisticated equipment used to design the plastic explosives that surround uranium in a nuclear device and are needed to detonate it. (…)
The Iranian mission to the UN declined to comment for this story. (…)
One of the targets of the Israeli strike on Oct. 25 was the Taleghan 2 facility in the Parchin military complex, about 20 miles southeast of Tehran.
The facility was part of the Iranian Amad nuclear weapons program until Iran halted its military nuclear program in 2003. It was used for testing explosives needed to set off a nuclear device, according to the Institute for Science and International Security.
High-resolution satellite imagery acquired by the institute after the Israeli strike showed the Taleghan 2 building was completely destroyed.
(…) Israeli and U.S. officials said the activity that took place recently at the Taleghan 2 facility was part of an effort inside the Iranian government to conduct research that could be used for the development of nuclear weapons but could also be presented as research for civilian purposes.
Satellite images provided to me by a source reveal that the Parchin military base, east of Tehran, was targeted overnight by the IAF. On October 27, the Legal Insurrection reported the IDF strike on Parchin, describing it as “Iran’s biggest weapons manufacturing hub linked to its nuclear weapons program outside the capital, Tehran.”
“The Parchin complex also played a key role in the Iranian nuclear weapons program. The regime historically used the site for high explosive testing for nuclear weapons development,” we reported, quoting the Washington-based Institute for the Study of War (ISW).
We also noted that Israeli fighter jets had hit targets in “Iranian cities of Isfahan and Karaj, home to [regime’s] rogue nuclear weapons program.”
The new revelation comes as President-elect Donald Trump is bringing together the team for his second term. President Joe Biden’s abandonment of the Trump-era policy of “Maximum Pressure” on Iran and granting sanctions relief emboldened the regime to ramp up its rogue nuclear weapons program.

I hope it was their only one
While this is good news, it is also quite disturbing as it suggests that the Iranians are in the final stages of building a nuclear weapon.
They have been saying for “3 years, “ in a couple of weeks the Iranians will have nuclear ability”
“Days of Repentance”
Oh, I like that. Really do.
I also really like that they hit this site, Surgically, too.
May you go with God before you, Israel.
