Why hasn’t the cops declared it a hate crime? Why is the media describing it as an “officer-involved shooting?”
A woman shared a video of the man shooting a Jewish man as he walked to a Chicago synagogue.
It captured the man screaming, “Allahu Akbar!”

Malka and other neighbors don’t feel safe. They’re also mad that officials and the media won’t address the shooting as a hate crime.
It’s boggling. The guy shot the Jewish man in the shoulder. He then got into a shootout with the cops, who took him down. The man is in the hospital with critical wounds.
I found the media describing it as an “officer-involved shooting.”
Dude, it wasn’t spontaneous. It turned into a cop shooting because someone shot a Jewish man.

Initially the police did not comment on the victim being Jewish, frustrating Malka and other neighbors. “My gut is telling me that it was a hate crime. It was crazy that he came back, that made me think he was on a suicide mission,” Malka said. “He wanted to kill people and police officers and Jews. He didn’t care about getting killed.”
She added that she was disappointed by other news articles not mentioning that the incident may be a hate crime.
CBS News Chicago also spoke to the neighbors:
“A Jewish guy walking to synagogue, Saturday morning, Sabbath morning, it just, it doesn’t make sense,” said Abraham Trachtman, who lives in the West Ridge neighborhood.
Trachtman said there is a large Orthodox Jewish community in the area and he was headed to the local synagogue when his sister came running up to him.
“‘A Jewish guy was shot! A Jewish guy was shot!’ at 9:30 in the morning walking to synagogue, and right away I’m like, ‘Are the kids safe?'” Trachtman said.
Trachtman also told the outlet the man seemed to be waiting for a Jewish person to shoot: “He just went up and started shooting at this Jewish guy.”

There is no such thing as a “hate crime”. There is just crime. Shooting someone is a crime. It should warrant sufficient punishment that the shooter is taken out of society for some time. Shooting at cops after having shot a civilian is another set of serious crimes that should also warrant extreme punishment.
This guy should be getting any sort of medical treatment. Everyone with a brain understands that but society has been so brainwashed into thinking that people who commit crimes like this – in full view and without any doubt – deserve life-saving care. THEY DO NOT. The cops should have shot him dead on the spot.

The story isn’t that he was captured or shot during apprehension. The STORY is why he was apprehended in the first place. It’s like writing a story about the Titanic: Cruise ship captain dies after years of service..
