Trump Demands Apology Before He Appears on CBS’s 60 Minutes
Can you blame him? I don’t.
Former President Donald Trump backed out of a 60 Minutes interview that will air on Monday.
Trump wants an apology from CBS.

Can you blame him?
In 2020, Trump had a contentious interview with Lesly Stahl on 60 Minutes, during which they came to blows over Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Stahl refused to allow Trump to talk about the laptop, claiming no one verified it belonged to Hunter, and acted “like Trump was crazy for even mentioning it.”
Trump ended up walking out of the interview.
In 2020, 'journalist' Lesley Stahl shamed Trump & cut him off during an interview for citing the Hunter Biden laptop.
Today, FBI agent Erika Jensen said during Hunter’s trial that there is no evidence the laptop was tampered with, like many in the media claimed.

Everyone, even the media, and the left knew the laptop belonged to Hunter. Everyone knew it wasn’t Russian propaganda.
Honestly? I think Trump should sit with 60 Minutes and talk about the laptop until the interviewer apologizes, especially if it’s Stahl.
VP Kamala Harris will participate in the interview.

They should apologize to President Trump and the American public, and this apology should issue whether there is an interview or not. And, after last night, I would not recommend an interview. In fact, I would recommend that no “mainstream” media are ever allowed to moderate a debate again. Of course, if Harris wins, probably a moot point since the republic will pretty much be gone in that case.
Trump refuses to debate Harris a second time, because he lost the first debate with her. What a coward. So of course all of the media needs to apologize to Trump. The referee is always supposed to apologize to the losing team, because when you lose the game, it is always the fault of the referee. It was never ever the fault of your losing team. Trump is never at fault. He accepts no responsibly whatsoever for his failures. His default position is that he is always right, and when he loses, it is always someone else’s fault. Most parents teach their children that this is not true. Trump never learned that lesson, because he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.
Aw, shaddup. Trump’s already DONE two debates, douchebag. Why should he go back on CNN to put up with the same shit that just took place last night?
Trump offered to debate Kamalalaladingdong on Fox, but she said no.
So he should now go and debate her on ABC?
You’re a freakin maroon.
Democrats refused to run their democraticly selected candidate because Trump was going to kick his senile ass. What cowards.
What color is the sky in your world?
Purple Haze.
You are a fool.
.
Leslie Stahl isn’t a journalist. She’s a gaslighting progressive shill.
what’s the difference?
17 letters.
Why would anyone voluntarily appear on CBS? A death wish?
JR will be here shortly to explain that Trump’s request for a (well-deserved) apology will cost him moderate and Independent voters, he’s going to lose the election, and we should have chosen DeSantis.
Please…

Reading comprehension issues?
Uh….What?
Ignore that. I misread the comment.
Too bad we don’t have an edit button.
I put one on my wish list and wished really hard. But nothing happened.
Since the cellphone thing, the Tooth Fairy has been really slammed over in Gaza.
I prefer no edit button. Think and review before you post. If you post in haste it lets readers know something about you. If user edits were allowed to overwrite original comments, early replies to pre-edit comments can seem as if they are not understanding the original comment, since the original comment is no longer there, only an edited version. I prefer that edits continue to be made by replying to the comment that you wish you could change. This lets readers see something of your thought process. Simple typos, so what? Just reply to your own comment with your preferred correction. Most commenters here are patient and will understand your now edited thoughts.
All good. And as I predicted, JR (Grima Wormtongue) did indeed show up in the comments to this post.
He just can’t help himself.
JR is a pitiful character.
At least he’s a non-playable one.
After last night’s fiasco when CBS moderators broke the rules to which CBS agreed (no fact checking by moderators) I think Trump should tell CBS where to get off, and not do any interviews with anyone from CBS.
If Trump wins, the press conferences in the White House should be interesting. Is it possible for CBS to be banned?
As I recall, Trump already banned one whiny little snot last go-round, so… yes.
I remember that “60 Minutes” interview and was screaming at my TV. Stahl was a lying bitch and she knew it. If I were Trump I would offer no more msm interviews before or after the election. Look at Biden and see what he did with them. NO interviews except by extreme softball interviewers. Trump’s ego makes him think he can deal with anyone but not when it’s rigged against him.
Trump doesn’t need 60 Minutes, and he will probably pick up more votes by telling them to pound sand.
He seemed to be going out of his way in that clip to profess his particular love for 60 Minutes. I wouldn’t have chosen that tactic. I might have professed my respect for the Mike Wallace-era 60 Minutes, and left the implication hanging.
Fox should counterprogram with a DJT Townhall at the same time as the 60 Minutes Kamala love fest.
How about Leslie Stahl agrees to be interviewed herself?
“The rules were that you guys weren’t going to fact-check, and since you’re fact-checking me, I think it’s important to say what’s actually going on.”
Vice presidential candidate JD Vance was fact-checked by the CBS News moderators while discussing the migrant crisis….
And we’re supposed to think that the CrooksBehindScamala is going to be fair to pres trump?
The days are over when these bobbleheads get away with this advocacy..
He should have thrown in the phrase “point of personal privilege” and frozen the bastards in their tracks.
President Trump lives in their head 24/7. He has proven over and over HE is good for their ratings, not the other way around. The apology should come, should have come already, and it hasn’t. If Harris does show up, this would be her 2nd shot at a debate. That shot should also not happen. In this venue of a 2 candidate interview, CBS has already screwed the pooch with their bias, no reason to think the next time will be any different.
I hope he denies the CBS 60 minutes interview and I agree with others, no more for the DNC marketing channels.
“Oh, great Defender of Freedom, do not venture into the Land of the Hideous Harpies.” ~ A voice from the ether.
Trump should appear in a Halloween costume. He would make a beautiful Monica Lewinsky.
Sixty minutes has a lot to apologize to the public for.
1. The Audi Quattro “acceleration problem.” The ginned up a Quattro do do that. As Car & Driver or Road & Track pointed out, the center hump design meant the pedals were left of where they were in other cars. So, a driver unfamiliar with the car; would push down where the brake pedal was in the car they usually drove but would be pushing down on the gas pedal.
2. The George W. Bush fake document. It was printed using a computer font, while a document of the appropriate date would have been printed using a typewriter, perhaps an IBM Selectric.
There are probably others, but I do not remember them.
The thing about the Dan Rather fake documents that I found most galling is ANYONE who did a tour in the military prior to that story airing would have recognized that the documents, purported to be from the Vietnam-era, were obviously not made by anything that a National Guard air wing had in the early 1970s…or even the early 1990s. Most people from that time have personal decorations drafted by Regiment, Division or even HQ that look like they were typed by monkeys using typewriters from the 1950s…because they probably were. And yet, the Bush ‘documents’ looked like they had just been pulled from the laser printer….because they were.
And yet, not a single person working at CBS thought anything of it (allegedly).
Let’s also give a shout out to Dateline NBC, who rigged a crash-test vehicle sample with model rocket engines to ensure a fiery explosion after a collision test.
why wasnt stahl fired for her unqualified *fact* finding ?
lefty is a pos on their best daze
It might be fitting for CBS News to change its name. It could drop the “C” and just go with: “BS News.”
