If I was in charge of keeping the peace in Washington, DC, I’d be much more worried about a Trump victory than a Harris win.

DC bracing for possible ‘riots and civil unrest’ around election
D.C. officials shared new details Tuesday on security preparations related to the election and inauguration.
D.C. Assistant City Administrator Chris Rodriguez briefed the D.C. Council on security preparations for Election Day through Jan. 6 and Inauguration Day. He told lawmakers D.C. is bracing for the possibility of “large-scale riots and civil unrest.”
Security officials are preparing for historic crowds in D.C. on Inauguration Day, no matter which candidate wins, Rodriguez said.
Metropolitan Police Department officers are ready for the coming months, Chief of Police Pamela Smith told reporters.
“I want to assure you that the Metropolitan Police Department and all of the D.C. government agencies continue to prepare for these events,” she said.
“The Metropolitan Police Department supports individuals peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights,” Smith continued. “But I want to be very clear: We will not tolerate any violence of any kind. We will not tolerate any riots. We will not tolerate the destruction of property. We will not tolerate any unlawful behavior. Offenders will be arrested and will be held accountable.”

Regardless of who wins there are going to be riots. The polls are way off. If this is an honest election it will be a landslide for Trump. Antifa and anti-Trumper’s are going to riot. The terrorists that have crossed our borders are going to be causing havoc. The south American gangs and drug cartels are already causing havoc. It will get worse Jan 20 2025.
If Harris pulls off a steal there will be protests that turn into riots, widespread political violence, and kickoff of a civil war. It is a good time to live in a small town or in rural America..
If Harris wins, there will be celebratory rioting. Just like last night after the first game of the world series, the celebrators overturned buses and set fire to them. It should be no different for an election from those people.

Conservative insurrectionists know you don’t have to travel across the country to find a problem to solve — all politics is local, and there are plenty of problems needing solutions that will allow you to get back home in time for dinner.

No one will be punished for rioting. No jail time for property destroyers, either. DC is solidly Democrat, Democrats can wreak havoc without penalties. Republicans are not tolerated.
If rioting is expected, why not have a regiment of national guards at the ready? The MPD are too understaffed to do be of much use.
