Media: ‘Republicans Pounce’ on Biden Calling Trump Supporters Garbage
NPR: Republicans pounce! MSNBC: The right seized the comment!
You knew it would happen!
President Joe Biden called former President Donald Trump supporters garbage on Tuesday night.
Elizabeth covered how Politico‘s Jonathan Lemire quickly tried to rewrite Biden’s comments despite the White House giving NBC’s Gabe Gutierrez the transcript, with the apostrophe showing plural possessive.
White House can’t even decide on their spin. In the so-called transcript given to Gabe of NBC News (reporter who broke story), White House claimed Biden said “supporters’” (plural possessive), but in transcript given to Weijia & others, it is “supporter’s” (singular possessive). pic.twitter.com/jiHYI5ZWhU

I also saw people asking how long it would take for the “Republicans pounce” narrative to surface.
NPR did it!
Fellow garbage people, your tax dollars paid for this headline pic.twitter.com/u1kGmrWioI

NPR changed the headline, though:
NPR also didn’t mention the garbage remarks in its morning edition.
Marc Caputo posted about that fact and even pointed out how NPR droned on again about the comic’s Puerto Rico joke.
Our tax money funds NPR.
On @NPR’s morning edition, zero mention of the controversial “garbage” comments made last night by the president, but yet another report on what the comic said Sunday at Trump’s Puerto Rico rally https://t.co/YSlAUu3Y4t

MSNBC: “Some on the right have seized on that comment.”
Gee, what’s missing in the clip?
MSNBC didn’t play the clip that shows Biden calling Trump supporters garbage.
You'll notice what they didn't do, which is play the actual tape. https://t.co/klxnFvYz7G

Other MSM outlets have jumped to protect Biden and use the comment to smear Trump.
“But Trump!!!” We should totally just let it go, according to CBS’s John Dickerson.
Look, the comment bothered me because my parents are garbage.
I’m just tired of the double standard.
WaPo calls "garbage" reference "disputed," a joke about Puerto Rico's trash problem "racist remarks," and suggests the "garbage" smear was part of his "record of verbal gaffes" whereas "Trump has for years vilified his political opponents with vicious… attacks…" pic.twitter.com/lGdZzQHRs7

CBS's John Dickerson argues President Biden calling Trump supporters "garbage" doesn't matter one bit in this election, insisting the GOP would be smart to let it go because an "insult-comparing contest with" Donald Trump will not "come out…well" for you. pic.twitter.com/VVJQifPF7I

Don’t listen one bit to the communists. Make as big a deal as possible about this while hammering every other weakness the vice prostitute has.
Pouncing and seizing non stop I hope. Gosh I’m already tired.
So, like Tigger, except also epileptic.
Well then Fido got up off the floor an’ he rolled over
An’ he looked me straight in the eye
An’ you know what he said?
“Once upon a time, somebody say to me”
(This is a dog talking now)
“‘What is your Conceptual Continuity?’
Well, I told him right then”
(Fido said)
“‘It should be easy to see
The crux of the biscuit is the Apostrophe'”
Well, you know the man who was talkin’ to the dog
Looked at the dog an’ he said: (sort of staring in disbelief)
‘You can’t say that!’
He said:
‘It doesn’t, and you can’t!
I won’t, and it don’t!
It hasn’t, it isn’t, it even ain’t
And it shouldn’t
It couldn’t!’
“He told me ‘No no no!’
I told him ‘Yes yes yes!’
I said: ‘I do it all the time;
Ain’t this boogie a mess!'”
FZ 🙂
The poodle bites…
He may look like a poodle, but anyone that owns vicious bite dogs probably has a mean streak.
Whenever I read or hear apostrophe I always ponder the crux of the biscuit.
Thank you and Frank!
Until now, I never knew the biscuit even had a crux!
The crux on a biscuit should be pale brown and soft, not crunchy, or else it’s been over-baked.
Unless you intend to put sausage gravy on it, in which a crunchy crux is unimportant.
Yes,I agree that the crux has to be a certain shade of brown. You can axe anyone in the skreek.
Is that a real poncho or a Sear’s poncho?
It’s from Sams Club. It irks my sensibilities greatly.
No, it’s Cosmik Debris
Puerto Rican people are great. Not sure why but Puerto Rico and all the Caribbean islands are crime ridden cesspools.
Also, Puerto Rico has a genuine trash problem.

Why is not a single commenter (including Trump spox) talking about this? This is what the comedian was referring to, and the joke failed because nobody has heard of this. The media, if they were genuine purveyors of news, would have done their due diligence, and reported this is behind the meaning of the joke – the joke wasn’t referring to Puerto Ricans as “garbage” but was alluding to the island’s garbage problem. Had they been doing their jobs, people generally would have already been aware, and then the joke may have seemed funny.
What do you mean, “why?”
Trump spox are too stupid to point it out loudly and often, and lefties gonna left, left, left, left, left. They’re not here to help.
I’d like to know (how) the deep staters are being kept out of the Trump campaign. I’m not at all confident they are.
Whenever you see that, look for the Gun-Free Zone signs.
Am I the only one that thinks Biden looks embalmed in this video? He looks awful!
He’s looked that way for nigh on a year now. No wonder they don’t want him making public appearances.
He got his head waxed for TV. At Madame Tussaud’s.
Supporters.
Supporter’s.
Supporters’.
Way to go, NPR, CBS, MSNBC, el al. You show us once again the result of inadequate instruction in elementary school. Even in little old Alabama we were taught proper use of punctuation by the time we were in seventh grade.
Dunces all.
.
Biden can eat my athletic supporters’.
This not-so-civil war has been going on for decades. We just refuse to acknowledge it’s even happening. Nothing new. They call us way worse constantly.
Puerto Ricans know how to cook a hog. A little Pernil is good for the soul.
Garbage people! What do you do with them?
Joe sounds like Adolph who sent people he considered garbage to Auschwitz.
Remind me again who is Hitler.
It seems we have arrived at the point in history where being called “garbage” is considered, by both sides, as somehow being far worse than being called “Nazi.”
I would say that somebody has overplayed their hand, and is losing the language war. Has been for some time. Guess we will throw Nazi into the dustbin of history along with racist, sexist, fascist, homophobe, transphobe, bigot…
That’s an awful amount of cards I need to throw into the dustbin of history.
That’s nearly a whole deck, but the Jokers keep running things.
Wish we could throw out the Race Card. But it’s lacquered to the table.
For Trump supporters going to Halloween parties, or escorting the kiddies around the neighborhood, who are still wondering what costume to wear, how about going as a pile of garbage?
I’ve got just the costume.
not letting the left control the narrative= VICTORY
wait until the left really slips up and starts calling the gop
slave owners !!!
wonder why they havent yet
b/c everyone knows that it is the left throughout history that has owned the slaves
owning slaves is a mechanism of government over the people
THAT is the left
no way around it
come on gop
go for it
fjb meant to say:
white trash
Mike Tyson: “M*f*r call’ me WHITE!”
