Democrat Pollster Doug Schoen Says Kamala Harris Losing Grip on the ‘Blue Wall’

Democrat Pollster Doug Schoen Says Kamala Harris Losing Grip on the ‘Blue Wall’

“There is a level of disorganization on the ground, and incoherence, vis-a-vis the messaging that is clear, and what I’m picking up is that the Harris campaign really doesn’t have a closing message”

Democrat pollster and strategist Doug Schoen appeared on the Ingraham Angle on FOX News this week and said that the ‘Blue Wall’ of Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan is ‘eroding’ for Kamala Harris. He also does not think Harris was helped by her interview with Bret Baier.

This is one of the biggest fears for Democrats who remember that Donald Trump won all three of these states in 2016.

The Washington Examiner has details:

Democratic strategist Doug Schoen claimed the Democratic Party is experiencing “disorientation on the ground,” listing swing states like Pennsylvania and Michigan where trouble is brewing.

Harris’s campaign is experiencing complications roughly three weeks before Election Day. Schoen stated these reports are “a very bad sign” and that what he has heard from his Democratic friends and sources are confirming these reports.

“The so-called blue wall of Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania is eroding for the Democrats,” Schoen said on Fox News’s The Ingraham Angle. “There is a level of disorganization on the ground, and incoherence, vis-a-vis the messaging that is clear, and what I’m picking up is that the Harris campaign really doesn’t have a closing message or strategy as we, I think, saw in Bret Baier’s interview with Kamala Harris.”

Schoen also discussed another problem Harris has failed to address in her campaign, being that she has not provided “a coherent plan” to lead the nation in a different manner from President Joe Biden. Harris was asked in her interview with Fox News’s Bret Baier about polling data indicating that 79% of respondents believe the country is on the wrong track, prompting Harris to respond that “Donald Trump has been running for office.”

Watch the segment below:

Schoen has been predicting that Harris would sputter out for a while now.

Three weeks ago, he and pollster Carly Cooperman wrote this at The Hill:

Kamala Harris’s surge may not be built to last

In a truly unprecedented presidential election, one of the most-discussed phenomena has been the immense and rapid outpouring of support that followed Vice President Kamala Harris’s elevation to the top of the ticket following President Biden’s withdrawal.

As we wrote in early August, almost immediately after Harris secured the nomination, polls began reflecting a “Harris surge.”

However, the caveat we noted was that, while there was genuine enthusiasm for Harris’s candidacy, particularly among key Democratic constituencies, it was just as likely that what polls were showing was a honeymoon period, as opposed to a genuine, sustainable surge.

Now that Harris has been the Democratic nominee for two months — and with less than 50 days until Americans cast their vote — it is legitimate to ask whether or not the “Harris surge” will last.

There are two principal reasons for these questions. First, Harris’s support in the polls has plateaued over the last two months, with no real shift in the race. This despite an impressive debate performance and more time to introduce herself to voters.

Second, although Harris has undoubtedly driven support and enthusiasm among Democrats, it is a lot less clear that she has made inroads with independents or swing voters. Virtually all of Harris’s polling gains are due to Democrats. This leaves the possibility that polls are simply reflecting the support of voters who would, in all likelihood, have voted for a Democrat regardless.

If Harris does end up losing all of the ‘Blue Wall’ states, it’s very difficult to see how she makes it to 270 votes in the Electoral College.

Nice to find Schoen’s take when logging in. It would seem that Harris is set up for disaster. She is not a nice person, not is her other half. Moral midgets, too.

But her side cheats, and has the money and levers of power, and that ALWAYS lurks in the mind. How else could she win?

Bottom line, will Democrats accept the results even if they lose? Will they make the resistance more than ever, only to blame everyine else. Something is seriously wrong with these people who seek to tear things down, yet have worse solutions.

“what I’m picking up is that the Harris campaign really doesn’t have a closing message”
Her “message” pretty much drools to a halt right after the opening joke.

The message is that Trump is Hitler, and will do what we want before we can finish doing it to him.

Do you see my comment above at 12:14 p.m.? Thanks.

Yes, I read it, though I’m not clear why you ask.

Ah, given your 12:33 comment, now I understand. But I’m on so much later that any moderation hold would have been long gone anyway.

I’ve been getting really weird results from Cloudfront(?). It works fine (though annoyingly) if I’m replying to a comment, but sometimes when I click a thumb up or down, it kicks in, the words and box appear superimposed over the text of the current page, then when it “goes OK” it delivers me to a parallel-universe page that simply says something like “vote registered,” and from which is absolutely impossible to get back to the original page because the history has somehow been scrubbed.

Would the joke be her walking on stage and saying “I’m running for President”? Pretty sick joke.

Ernie Elephant and Darryl Donkey never get influenced or enthusiastic, but Archie and Edith are sick of this crap.
Fred and Barney agree, and that is why the cheat cannot overtake the vote.

The ‘immense and rapid outpouring of support’ was manufactured by the media.

The very idea that the woman that ran a campaign so bad that she had to withdraw from the 2020 primary before a single vote was cast, had this magical ‘momentum’ was an idea so stupid only leftists could believe it.

And it was particularly striking because less than a year ago they were having serious discussions about whether Biden should dump Harris because she was such a drag on the ticket.

Them trying to turn on a dime and claim she was this magical perfect politician everybody loved was never going to work.

Everyone except those so mentally deficient they need mechanical assistance to breathe could see how Kamala’s “popularity” was the sudden and amazing product of media smoke and mirrors. “New giant size chocolate ration, three grams, up from four!”

Democratic that portrays most republicans as evil isn’t working with moderates this election. I live in Vancouver, WA and you should see the adds they are running against Joe Kent. It rivals anti-trump ads for the vitriole.

Also Biden barely squeaked through vs Trump. Kamela is doing way worse with Hispanics and African Americans but they claim she is doing better than Biden….

Although I suspect this election may get the “Maduro/Venezuela” treatment, what this country needs is a repudiation of these particular Democrats, who ran a coup and put forth an unqualified candidate voted for by noone.

But they are all anonymous. Same as the identity of the current actual president. The arrangement is so beneficial for Democrats that they are now using it everywhere. “Some people did things,” but nobody in particular did anything.

Kamala Harris is attempting to be Schrödinger’s candidate – she is Joe Biden’s closest confidant during their four years in office, yet anything that has happened in those four years is not her fault, or is the direct fault of the guy that preceded them.

There’s a reason she didn’t last till the very first primary in 2020 – she’s a despicable person who holds Marxist positions spewed through a vodka-infused haze.

Donald Trump, for his manifold faults, is George Washington by comparison.

I continue to think that this election will be a Reaganesque landslide with significant coattails that will usher in a very different relationship between the citizen and his government.

And, as postulated in the wake of Jim Gaffigan’s remarks at the Smith dinner this week, may mark the doom of the current iteration of the Democrats.

One can only hope.

Shucks, Doug, the Harris campaign never had an OPENING message.

“There is a level of disorganization on the ground, and incoherence, vis-a-vis the messaging that is clear, and what I’m picking up is that the Harris campaign really doesn’t have a closing message”

Well, the Biden* campaign didn’t have much of a message beyond “Orange man bad!” in 2020.

It looks like the Blue Queen will rely on fake ballots (again), Deep State election interference (again), Big Tech censorship (again), and a spineless Federal judiciary (again) to drag her across the finish line.

michigan will cheat. Repubs keep filing lawsuits, the three demon queens occupying the top 3 spots don’t care to let a fair election happen is my guess.
Saw where they’ve dropped the security around the ballot drop boxes.

Her campaign was always in trouble. When the media started their heavy lifting for the joy candidate and that moved the needle for a short time then came to a crashing halt she started to panic and go do interviews. People had a chance to see and listen to her and that was the death knell. The only question is whether enough people hate Trump to show up and vote against him not if people like her enough to turn out for her.

All of the MSM reporting on Harris stumbling is designed to lull the right into a sense of complacency.

A ‘we got this in the bag’ feeling that lets so-so voters feel that their guy will win even if they can’t make it to the polls.

This is the excuse being readied to explain the 2024 Steal.
