Aurora, CO, Apartment Worker Beaten Up by Venezuelan Gang
“He had gone to inspect a recently vacated three-bedroom apartment…only to find a group of men already inside. When he refused their $500 bribe to overlook the situation, they brutally attacked him.”
Cbz Management, a New York-based company, pushed back against claims that the Venezuelan gang Tren de Aragua has taken over apartment complexes in Aurora, CO.
The company is furious the MSM and the left are trying to downplay the situation its tenants and workers face in Aurora.
The citations began in 2020 and only got worse during the Biden-Harris administration.
We started managing these buildings when new owners acquired the Colorado properties in 2019. At the time, the properties were in poor condition, and our mission was to renovate them, thereby increasing their value. This was an ambitious project that would significantly benefit the people of Aurora while providing returns to the new owners.
We understood this project would take years to yield results and would be both time-consuming and costly, involving comprehensive upgrades to every unit and the overall structure. To manage the project effectively, given our New York-based operations, our representative moved to Colorado with his family.
We also undertook a complete renovation of nearly every unit in the now well-known building you’ve seen in the news. (The images shown depict our newly renovated apartments.)
Everything was progressing smoothly: property values were rising, and vacancy rates were dropping. It was a win-win for both the owners and the city of Aurora.
Then, the gangs arrived…
The next post featured a picture of the beaten-up apartment worker:
After some time, we noticed a rise in crime and tenant complaints. The most alarming moment occurred when our local CBZ representative was attacked at the end of 2023.
He had gone to inspect a recently vacated three-bedroom apartment (a rare occurrence for such a large unit) only to find a group of men already inside. When he refused their $500 bribe to overlook the situation, they brutally attacked him. (This photo was taken shortly after he escaped, just before being admitted to the hospital. The video footage comes from one of our security cameras, capturing part of the assault.)
Gangs have taken control of several of our properties in Aurora, Colorado.
In an attempt to discredit this fact for political purposes and avoid governmental accountability, some have spread false information about our situation. Let’s set the record straight…🧵 pic.twitter.com/Df9XMkwNtX

When confronted, many of these illegal tenants and squatters claimed they had already paid rent, which we soon realized was true—but not to us. They were paying rent to a different entity.
To address this entity (gangs) we contacted every city official we could think of for help… pic.twitter.com/EGW3DSAdqD

Finally, one city councilwoman, @DaniJurinsky, decided to take action after one of our last remaining legitimate tenants, Cindy Romero, reached out to her in desperation.
Luckily, Cindy had her own cameras (most of ours had been destroyed by the gangs) and provided video proof… pic.twitter.com/M9zdHdMEp4

Despite clear evidence, many still deny the reality of the situation, sometimes using us as scapegoats. That’s why we are no longer staying silent. We will continue to counter falsehoods with simple facts and evidence.

The left and Democrats ripped Republican VP candidate Sen. JD Vance over his response to ABC’s Martha Raddatz, who claimed the gang only took over a “handful” of complexes.
I don’t know about you, but taking over one complex is one too many.
Chrissy Clark, a Newsmax contributor, spoke to the man in the photo.
The attack happened in November 23. It’s disturbing (emphasis mine):
I spoke directly with the man pictured below — a contractor for CBZ Management who was BEATEN by illegal immigrants for attempting to do his job.
He claims that this attack happened in Nov. 2023 and a detective on the case told him there was no point in going after the attackers, as a judge would likely let this migrant go.
That officer was right.
In July (after the mgmt co met w/ the FBI), the DA for Arapahoe County opened a case against the attacker (an ILLEGAL immigrant) & the man pictured below gave testimony.
Ultimately, the DA let the illegal man go free in September.
The man pictured below was beaten, investigated by police for alleged code violations, & sent into the overrun building to investigate. He believes the Aurora Police used him to do their job.
He claims there are more employees who were harmed, beaten, or had firearms held against them that have yet to speak out. This is just the tip of the story.
Yup. The authorities let the illegal go free and investigated the beaten-up man.

A woman called it a “slap in the face,” the way watching the media and Democrats water down the story.
Cindy Romero fled her apartment because of the gangs:
“I feel like it’s a slap in the face,” Cindy Romero told Fox News Digital. “How many gangs is okay to have in Aurora? How many properties is okay to take over? How many people, who are citizens paying their bills, is it okay to displace?”
—
The couple’s security cameras recorded a group of men with guns forcing their way into a neighbor’s house. Several shootouts occurred at the complex, Romero said. During one, a bullet hit her car. She said police rarely responded to her 911 calls.
“I feel like the mayor and the governor and the [police] all downplay the situation,” Romero said. “I was pushed out of my apartment by gang activity, people carrying guns in the hallway and patrolling the grounds with guns.”
I mean, the police literally arrested members of the gang in connection to apartment takeovers.

Did Martha ever tell us what the acceptable number of apartment complexes taken-over by South American gangsters is?
I think it’s the same number of licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Pop. 3.
Vance’s take down on this in the interview was priceless.
Unfortunately, these gangs are cockroaches that are hard to eradicate and the government has blocked all pesticides.
No, the pesticides are still readily available. The problem is that the penalty for using them is higher than the reward. Rational folks will generally take the path of least resistance which in this case would be to just move to another neighborhood, find a new job, or in the case of police just not respond at all. If, this sort of problem ever spreads enough to start eradicating our typical American “cush-cush” lifestyle, then, we will start using the pesticides that are so readily available without concern for the penalty. It’s just how we do things. Violence is a very effective means of solving many different types of problems.
Housing takeovers such as this are what the Democrats call “revitalizing” urban neighborhoods.
msm:
clearly a trump voter with holloween blood
we need to call on obamas citizen patrols to take out the competitors to his crew
if only those border patrol agents were actually allowed to whip the invaders
This xenophobe should not have provoked the cultural ambassadors.
I’m not sure that first paragraph parses correctly. I think they’re affirming the claim, not pushing back against it.
ABC News: Only a small number of property managers are getting beaten up by illegal gang member squatters.
Aurora CO: JD Vance grossly exaggerated the threat of gang assaults on landlord. Law enforcement to take immediate action against threat to city’s reputation.
Snopes.com: Myth, Venezuelan gang seizes all apartments in Aurora CO; FALSE,
I like how the local TV station in Denver got all pissy because the management company was pushing back on X. Lots of “how dare you not recognize us as the official gatekeepers” vibe.
Foreign gangs are “collecting rent” at gunpoint and beating people up and the Democrats do not think it is a big deal
Democrats want this to happen. They let these people into the country on purpose.
Only because for a change the rent is not going to THEIR “community organizers.”
It gets no airplay if it doesn’t fit the narrative.
The soon to be voting undocumented world people are all nice hardworking responsible people.
And the beatings will continue until you get your head right on this.
The 5 Stages of Communist Denial
1. “There is no evidence this is happening.”
2. “It’s happening, but the Far Right is exaggerating.” <- YOU ARE HERE
3. “It’s happening, but there are benefits as well as drawbacks.”
4. “It’s a good thing this is happening.”
5. “You are a horrible person for objecting to this wonderful thing!”
