Gaza Terror Tunnel Where Hamas Executed 6 Hostages Opened Inside Children’s Room

IDF: “The shaft leading to the tunnel in which the bodies of the hostages … were recovered from was located next to stuffed animals and wall art of cartoon characters in a children’s play area.”

The Hamas terror tunnel, where the body of six murdered Israeli hostages were recovered recently, was hidden beneath a children’s play room. The Israeli military on Wednesday released a video showing the tunnel shaft that opened in a children’s room containing stuffed toys and wall paintings of faires and comic figures.

“The shaft leading to the tunnel in which the bodies of the hostages Carmel Gat, Eden Yerushalmi, Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Alex Lobanov, Almog Sarusi, and MSG Ori Danino were recovered from was located next to stuffed animals and wall art of cartoon characters in a children’s play area,” the IDF said in press release.

Israeli soldiers on Saturday recovered the bullet-riddled bodies of six hostages, including two women, who were murdered by Hamas terrorists in Gaza captivity. They were executed at point-blank range hours before the IDF rescue teams approached the area, autopsy reports show.

The bodies belonged to American-Israel Hersh Goldberg-Polin, 23, Eden Yerushalmi, 24, Ori Danino, 25, Alex Lubnov, 32, Carmel Gat, 40, and Almog Sarusi, 27. All of them were taken captive by Hamas terrorists on October 7.

“The troops of the 162nd Division and the ISA located the shaft leading to the tunnel in an area surrounded by the enemy and extensively booby-trapped,” the military disclosed. “This is a further example of how Hamas abuses civilian areas to hold hostages and carry out its terrorist activities.”

The Jerusalem Post reported the discovery of the Hamas hostage tunnel underneath a children’s play room:

The IDF found the shaft to the tunnel in which the bodies of the hostages Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Carmel Gat, Almog Sarusi, Alexander Lobanov, and Ori Danino, were found Saturday in a children’s yard, the IDF reported on Wednesday.

In a published video, a soldier explained that the IDF received clear intelligence about the location of the tunnel shaft, leading the IDF to operate in that precise location.

“As you can see, the tunnel was hidden in a child’s yard, a place where a child should be safe, and not used as a human shield for Hamas,” the soldier said in the video.

The IDF’s 162nd Division and the Shin Bet located the shaft in a children’s yard, in a civilian area filled with traps.

The IDF stated, “This is another example of Hamas’s cynical use of civilian space for terrorist activity.”

The is not the first instance Hamas has used children’s rooms to cover up its terror tunnel shafts. In a bid to conceal its terrorist infrastructure and maximize Palestinian civilian deaths, the jihadist group has systematically built its terror tunnels and underground weapons dumps beneath kindergartens, schools, mosques and hospitals.

Israeli airstrike destroys Hamas base hidden in Gaza humanitarian area

IDF’s Apache helicopters destroyed a Hamas command and control center hidden in a humanitarian area in northern Gaza. “Over the past night, based on IDF and ISA intelligence, IAF aircrafts conducted a targeted strike on terrorists who operated in a Command and Control Center used by the Hamas terrorist organizations and the Islamic Jihad, which was embedded in the humanitarian area in Deir al-Balah,” the IDF said in press release Wednesday morning.

The terrorist base, located near the Gaza City, was being used to plan imminent attacks on Israel. “The Command and Control Center was used by the terrorists as a terror infrastructure from which terror attacks were planned and directed against IDF troops and the State of Israel,” the military noted. “The strike was conducted to remove an immediate threat.”

Several senior Hamas terror operatives were eliminated in the overnight strike, reports suggest.

Hamas releases messages of Israeli hostages before execution

In a depraved attempt to torment the families of murdered hostages and demoralize the Israeli people, Hamas on Wednesday released videos of two captives before their execution this week.

The terrorist group posted the last massages of 40-year-old female hostage Carmel Gat and 32-year-old Alex Lobanov. Gat was kidnapped by Hamas terrorist from her parents home in Kibbutz Be’eri and Lobanov from the Nova music festival.

The Times of Israel reports:

Palestinian terror group Hamas on Wednesday released a video clip of two hostages whose bodies were among six captives discovered by the IDF last week in a Gaza Strip tunnel after they were executed.

A video posted to a Hamas Telegram channel featured Carmel Gat, 40, and Alex Lobanov, 32.

Hamas has previously issued similar videos of hostages it is holding, in what Israel says is psychological warfare.

The six hostages whose bodies were recovered over the weekend — Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Ori Danino, Alex Lobanov, Carmel Gat, and Almog Sarusi — were killed just days before troops found them, according to autopsies and the IDF.

Earlier this week Hamas published videos of two other slain hostages, Yerushalmi and Danino.

Most Israeli media outlets do not carry the video clips. Israeli authorities and human rights groups assert that hostages are coerced into making their remarks in the videos. However, Gat’s family permitted parts of the section of the video featuring her to be published and its contents reported.

Gat spoke Hebrew in the video, which had English and Arabic subtitles. It was not known when the video was made but in it, Carmel gave her age as 39; she turned 40 in May while in captivity.

She said she is being held “with little food or water, and poor hygiene conditions.”

I wonder if having terror tunnels in children’s bedrooms using them as human shields violates the Rules of Warfare like the British, EU and UN are seemingly so worried about.

Hamas is neither a “state” nor an “army,” and so escapes sanction. There is no critical mass specification under which a large, organized gang of criminals and terrorists becomes either a state or an army. As far as the Law of Nations is concerned, Hamas depredations occupy the same political limbo as Mexican cartel depredations.

Hamas is fighting the war it wants the way they want it. Their ‘citizens’ are expendable to advance the terrorist agenda..

    Well, it’s working.

    So far, it’s largely working.

It’s a bitter pill to swallow, but they have made enormous progress towards achieving their goals.

    What a world.

Very true, just look at many of our college campuses. That is what winning looks like to Hamas–useful idiot Westerners. The loud large demonstrations in Israel provide the same encouragement. It is perfectly understandable why hostage families want to demonstrate for a ‘deal’ that Hamas will refuse or break. All those thousands more Israelis, I’m guessing it is the Israeli left using any opportunity to take power, even if they encourage the enemy.

One of the reasons I’ve cared for horror movies is that there are plenty of real monsters in the real world.

It’s just ordinary camouflage.

The news media, speaking of that, use children to camouflage a story as important when it’s nothing.

In other news Candace and Tucker have been spotted protesting at the Jews for politicizing the decision to provide adequate oversight for children by Hamas caretakers.

The Holocaust denier who claims Paris was better of under Nazi occupation than today who Tucker promoted for two hours on his show, and the Ku Klux Klan Candace defends the resurrection of by going against 100% of lawyers and academics who have looked into the Leo Frank case.

You do realize when you defend Holocaust deniers who advocate for the destruction of Israel (so in other words people who defend Hitler’s Holocaust and want another such as Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens) you in no way change somebody’s mind about them you change their minds about YOU.

How dare you continue defending Candace and Tucker how dare you.

How dare you pretend to be something you are not.

Don’t you dare for shame even consider condemning leftwing anti-Semitism till you are no longer defending actual Holocaust deniers.

There’s a rumour that last night Antony Blinken walked in on his wife being gang-raped in front of his daughters.

Blinken’s reaction was to ask the rapists what a good date and time might be in order to negotiate the terms of the rapists’ formal written apology.

The rapists response to Mr. Blinken was that they had not all had a turn with his wife yet, but that when they were all through, they’d definitely respond.

And so at this time, Mr. Blinken is waiting in his private study, whilst Mrs. Blinken continues to be gang-raped. And their daughters wait their turn.

Joe Biden reportedly asserted that the rapists have a point. and that he intends to bestow Mr. and Mrs. Blinken a presidential medal of freedom for outstanding service to America.

Blinken is reportedly quite proud of his negotiation skills. may write a book.

No. This is an example of how there are no “innocent” Gazans separate from the Hamas terrorists. Wipe out the Gazans and end the war (on that front).

Candace and Tucker are rumoured to be issuing a joint statement that they are “sick and tired of hearing about Jewish women being raped and kidnapped”

When asked about all the Christian women being raped and murdered and kidnapped, Candace and Tucker will probably just cackle

******

Who would have predicted
that almost a year into this , the United States of America would issue arrest warrants for Sinwar. Imagine the fear, the quaking in their boots that Sinwar, and Nasrallah, and Khameini must experience every night knowing that Blinken has now issued arrest warrants for Sinwar.

Ooooooooowwww

Time to end this negotiation circus. Drop a tactical nuke, and then promise one a month to follow. Could be in the desert, could be somewhere in Iran, could be in Gaza. State “you want a message, here’s our message”.

If I were in charge, I would say, “Hamas, provide proof of life photos of the remaining hostages or we will assume they are all dead and flood the tunnels with propane and ignite.”
