Joe Rogan Warns Harris and Walz Would be Awful for Free Speech

“I don’t think it [censorship] turns around if Kamala Harris gets into office. I think they clamp down more.”

During a recent episode of his podcast, Joe Rogan suggested that if Kamala Harris and Tim Walz win the election, they will put free speech in jeopardy. Rogan was not speculating, he used examples of the two candidates’ own words.

Harris commented specifically about Twitter, which the left now hates because they no longer control it, and Walz once suggested that disinformation and supposed ‘hate speech’ are not protected by the First Amendment, which is false.

FOX News reports:

Joe Rogan predicts a Harris-Walz administration would ‘clamp down more’ on free speech

Podcaster Joe Rogan warned this week that a Kamala Harris presidency would likely usher in a harsher “clamp down” on online speech.

“I don’t think it turns around if Kamala Harris gets into office,” Rogan said. “I think they clamp down more. I think the same stuff that they were trying to do with Twitter, they’ll try to do with something else, with other things.”

Tech tycoon Elon Musk shared a post of the clip on X saying, “Joe Rogan is absolutely right.”

Rogan’s comments came during a new episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” featuring former Navy SEAL and CIA contractor Shawn Ryan. The pair were discussing censorship on social media platforms.

Rogan went on to raise alarm over the “many wild things” the Harris camp is saying, including vice presidential nominee Tim Walz claiming that the First Amendment doesn’t apply to misinformation.

“There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech and especially around our democracy,” Walz said in late 2022 in an MSNBC interview about voting issues. He added, “Tell the truth. Where the voting places are. Who can vote. Who’s able to be there.”

Watch the Rogan clip below:

Here are the two moments that Rogan is referencing.

Kamala Harris talks to Jake Tapper and makes it clear that she has her eyes on Twitter.

Here, Tim Walz shares his incorrect opinion of the First Amendment.

In a sane world, these comments from Harris and Walz would be disqualifying for the presidency.

“Kamala Harris and Tim Walz would be awful for free speech”

You can delete free speech. They would be awful. Period.

We will be made to love onerous speech restrictions in Kammy & Tubby Timmy’s Joy Camps.

Always nice to hear the BLEEDING OBVIOUS from an esteemed commenter. That’s why they get the big bucks I guess..

America has some to this.

Add life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness to that.

Tim Walz: “There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech and especially around our democracy”

I think this makes them an existential threat to our democracy.

First Amendment? They want to entire Constitution to go. Democrats haven’t even figured out that they aren’t allowed to select their own candidate yet. And they get really upset every time that I point that out to them.

Rogan should absolutely have President trump on

He would need to invite Harris too, but we know she wouldn’t come

goes right to the heart of what the demslefty have ALWAYS BEEN ABOUT

they ahve always been against opposing pov being heard

people think that the dems being on the side of the working man/poc is real

ahahahaaa

they have no clue

unions etc have always been anti workers
but the pr says different

Alternative media has a bigger audience and a greater reach than many legacy media companies. The old days where legacy media could embargo stories are gone. Sure they can refuse to print it or put it on air but they can’t keep it hidden from the public any longer. Alt media fills the void the legacy media created which is why they and their d/prog masters want to silence alt media with all sorts of scary labels; ‘misinformation’, ‘far right’, ‘extremist rhetoric’. They don’t want to compete on a field of ideas b/c they will lose the battle, instead they want to silence their competition altogether; see the scaremongering about Musk and X.

Anybody with a tiny hint of common sense can look at what the Dems have been doing for… Well, decades really, but really stirring to a peak over the last four years, It’s obvious how much the Dems hate anything that counters The Narrative (as narrated by them). In the last four years, they’ve shown the ability and will to unleash the Justice department against their enemies. Only a fool would vote to willingly keep this power in their hateful claws.

Unfortunately, there are many fools.

There’s no guarantee to free speech on misinformation or hate speech and especially around our democracy.

That’s rich, considering it was Obama who gave the green light to the government propagandizing We the People. The “covid” disaster should give you a clue-by-four on how that works out in real life.

Joe Rogan has endorsed RFK Jr., not Trump. So Trump will never go on Rogan’s show. Rogan is so much smarter than Trump, and Trump would be humiliated.

    Aw, shaddup you mutt.
Imma bet Rogan would gladly have Trump on, and it would be a hell of a,show.
You really are a sad pathetic little man.
    And quit up voting yourself.

Here’s lurch saying we should stifle the 1st amendment because it makes it to hard to indoctrinate the stupid people.
