Hillary Clinton: Americans Spreading ‘Propaganda’ Should be ‘Criminally Charged’

The failed presidential candidate also complained the press isn’t hard enough on Trump and stressed he would he a dictator.

THANK GOD this woman never won the presidency. Such an awful and terrible person.

FAILED presidential candidate Hillary Clinton told Rachel Maddow that any American participating in spreading propaganda should be charged.

Hillary also spread more dangerous rhetoric about former President Donald Trump a day after someone attempted to assassinate him. She had the nerve to complain the media is too friendly to him.

No free speech for you:

I applaud the actions taken by the Justice Department and the State Department. I think that they’re very important. But, truly, we are just at the beginning of uncovering everything that Russia, but not just Russia, other countries, have done and are doing to influence our election.

If you focus on Russia — and I commend you, Rachel, for your new movie — because we are only at the beginning of understanding the whole iceberg here. What the Russians started doing in 2015 and 2016, what they continued doing, they have gotten more sophisticated. They aren’t even pretending anymore.

Their international news operation, Russia Today, R.T., is an arm of the Russian government, an arm of its intelligence operation. It’s basically an extension of their spying efforts. They are using Americans, both those who are witting and willing and those who are unwitting and are just so surprised they’re getting $400,000 a week or $100,000 a podcast to parrot Kremlin propaganda.

We know from what even Republicans have said, the chairs of the Intelligence Committee and the Foreign Affairs Committee and other Republicans who are currently in office have said that Republicans go to the floor of the Congress and they parrot Russian talking points.

So, I think it’s important to indict the Russians, just as Mueller indicted a lot of Russians who were engaged in direct election interference and boosting Trump back in 2016. But I also think there are Americans who are engaged in this kind of propaganda.

And whether they should be civilly or even in some cases criminally charged is something that would be a better deterrence, because the Russians are unlikely, except in a very few cases, to ever stand trial in the United States. They’re not going to be going to a country where they can be extradited or even returning to the United States, unless they are very foolish.

So I think we need to uncover all of the connections and make it very clear that you could vote however you want, but we are not going to let adversaries, whether it is Russia, China, Iran, or anybody else, basically try to influence Americans as to how we should vote in picking our leaders.

Yes, Hillary, let’s add more gas to the fire:

“And I don’t understand why it’s so difficult for the press to have a consistent narrative about how dangerous Trump is,” Clinton said. “You know, the late, great journalist Harry Evans, you know, one time said that, you know, journalists should, you know, really try to achieve objectivity. And by that, he said, I mean, they should cover the object. Well, the object in this case is Donald Trump, his demagoguery, his danger to our country and the world.”

Then, the former secretary of state, who lost the election to Trump in 2016, denounced the Republican candidate as a dictator.

“Well, Americans need to understand that they have to take Trump both seriously and literally. He has said what he wants to do. He and his allies with Project 2025, his desire to be a dictator, at least on day one, all of that is in the public record,” Clinton said. “And I believe that more Americans have to be, you know, willing to endure what frankly is discomforting and to some extent kind of painful to take him at his word and to be outraged by what he represents.”

Brainwashing needs repetition.

“Hillary Clinton told Rachel Maddow that any American participating in spreading propaganda should be charged.”

    Hmmm,

She’s taken the Article VI oath several times over the years for the different offices she’s held (as a member of the AK bar, as Senator, as Sec of State).

Maybe she really didn’t mean those oaths.

I’d say it’s a total lack of self awareness because Hillary and MSNBC would be guilty of these very things. It’s more like they are Big Brother making thought criminals of anyone who dares to disagree with them. If Kamala wins Democrats will bring about the very totalitarian State they supposed don’t want.

Says the “woman” that spread lies about Trump and caused 40 million to be spent on an unnecessary investigation. I’ve worked with people that were in the WH during the Clinton administration. They describe her as vile and disgusting.

WTPuck in reply to tmm. | September 17, 2024 at 10:10 am

Says the woman who, in her capacity as SOS, got 4 people killed and an unknown number injured. All of whom had to sign non-disclosure agreements.* And that doesn’t count the people she Arkancided.

*Since Stormy Daniels didn’t have to honor her NDA, Hillary’s victims shouldn’t either.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to tmm. | September 17, 2024 at 12:36 pm

She’s so vile and disgusting, even her husband wouldn’t F her. He had to get Web Hubbell to bone her, and give her a child.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to tmm. | September 17, 2024 at 2:22 pm

Staffers and legislators hang out at the Capital Hill Club. There were endless stories about witch Hillary.

    Virginia42 in reply to tmm. | September 17, 2024 at 3:26 pm

    She’s a real harridan.

Why isn’t this vile venal witch in prison already??

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to LB1901. | September 17, 2024 at 10:06 am

    Because she is Hillary Clinton.

    Milhouse in reply to LB1901. | September 17, 2024 at 10:15 am

Because there has never been prosecutable evidence of a crime that was within the statute of limitations. Trump promised to appoint someone to look for such evidence and “lock her up” if any was found, but he broke that promise.

Most of her known crimes passed the statute long ago. She should have been prosecuted at the time she committed them.

Treason has no statute of limitations.

Lanceman in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 11:44 am

You’re full of shit, moron. There is no political will to prosecute a democrat. Unless it’s Menendez or Madoff or someone who has upset their balance.

      AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 12:40 pm

      Please!

Trump decided to not pursue prosecution so he didn’t start a precedent of prosecuting political opponents.

But that didn’t stop her and Biden from causing turmoil and dissension among the peoples.

Now we have democrats who want to assassinate Trump.

But I applaud the fact that he didn’t strike the first blow.

Dimsdale in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 1:54 pm

Quite. But at the time, and within the SOL, I asked repeatedly, to many different critics, if they could reconcile the applicable statutes as described by Comey with her known actions.

Nobody took it up.. Not one. To this day.

So the demonstrated author of the “Russian collusion” hoax should really consider shutting her cake hole.

E Howard Hunt in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 2:48 pm

The SOL. Hunter Biden’s lawyers actually contacted justice stating they were prepared to extend the statute of limitations on his tax returns under audit. This was because they didn’t want to receive a last minute, rushed deficiency notice. The government’s response: “That’s ok, everything’s jake.” That has NEVER happened before.

Maybe because Trump promised to “Lock Her Up!” and then didn’t do a damn thing.

Funnily enough, that’s what Trump said!

It doesn’t look like she was calling for charges against anyone who spreads propaganda, which would be impossible because of the first amendment. Rather it looks like she was calling for charges only against anyone who does so at the behest of a foreign government, without registering as an agent of that government. That, the acting as an agent, is not protected by the first amendment.

Of course you’d have to be able to prove beyond reasonable doubt that they were acting for the foreign government and not for themselves.

    Virginia42 in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 10:31 am

I don’t think she or the Democrats care about the First Amendment. They have already gone pretty rogue with their minions in the legal system inventing garbage charges to go after Trump with. I just do not think they look at things the way normal people do.

      Milhouse in reply to Virginia42. | September 17, 2024 at 12:02 pm

Your opinions don’t change the facts. Read what she is quoted here as saying, and you will see that I am right, and Ms Chastain has mischaracterized it.

Of course she doesn’t care about the freedom of speech; but if she wants people prosecuted she has no choice but to care about the first amendment, because protected speech can’t be prosecuted. The courts won’t allow it.

        Virginia42 in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 3:29 pm

Uh. It’s not my opinion, it *is* a fact they are doing this. One would have to be pretty obtuse to not have noticed there’s a real double standard (if not no standards) in play when the Dems start doing this stuff. They have weakened and undermined the entire basis of the legal system with this (and help from RINOs). It’s not going in a good direction and we may not be able to come back from it.

NorthernNewYorker in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 10:45 am

I seem to recall something Clinton something something Podesta something FARA something, but I’m getting on and the memory isn’t that great.

Your memory is just fine. Clinton and her cronies are guilty of everything she wants others prosecuted for.

That doesn’t change the fact that what she is calling for is not the prosecution of speech but of acting as an unregistered foreign agent. The difference matters.

destroycommunism in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 11:22 am

you want to come across as intelligent

but you keep insisting that these bad things cant happen b/c of laws

laws that are violated and changing in the fluidity that is leftism

    its called reality

    check into it sometime

You don’t even try to come across as intelligent.

Prosecution for protected speech can’t happen. The courts won’t allow it. Any charges brought for protected speech will be dismissed. And Clinton knows this.

Read what she said, as quoted right here in this post. It’s pretty clear what she’s calling for the prosecution of, and it’s not mere “propaganda”.

Who says the courts won’t allow it? Which courts? The same ones that brought the ridiculous New York charges? The same ones which allowed the ridiculous fraud charges in New York? The same ones that routinely ignore Bruen as state governments flip off the Supreme Court? It’s all a matter of picking the right judges. And Democrats have no difficulty picking the judges they want.

Constitutions and laws are words on paper. And have only the effect we are willing to give them. The 1st Amendment is on solid ground only as long as the public believes in it; if that changes, it will be toilet paper. The Democrat party already uses much of the Constitution as toilet paper.

Remember: government, especially when Democrats are in charge, see the Constitution as an obstacle to be gotten around, not a restriction to be followed.

Dimsdale in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 1:59 pm

I used to believe in the courts before that travesty of a kangaroo court in NYC against Pres. Trump.

henrybowman in reply to Milhouse. | September 18, 2024 at 4:01 am

Tell it to the guy in prison for his “Democrats vote on Wednesday” meme.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 12:42 pm

Thanks for explaining what the rest of us couldnt figure out. Apparent, you find words “between the lines” that the rest of don’t see or hear.

Sorta like a dog whistle that only democrats can hear.

They’re not between the lines, you idiot. They’re right there in the lines. You’re just deliberately ignoring them in order to create a fucking lie because it makes her sound worse than she is.

healthguyfsu in reply to Milhouse. | September 17, 2024 at 12:59 pm

And you don’t think the process could be the punishment in that little kangaroo court scenario?

We’ve already seen it happening in our country over the last 8 years.

Is it just me or does she resemble the Quaker Oats dude in that picture

Charge folks who spread propaganda? Ok. Let’s start with the Obama admin ‘if you like you’re DR you can keep..’, then lets hit the liars about Ukraine then the Covid Karens. If there’s any time left maybe we can add others. Pretty sure that’s the ‘propaganda’ HRC wants criminalized.

LibraryGryffon in reply to CommoChief. | September 17, 2024 at 11:14 am

How about the folks who lied about Hunter’s laptop being Russian Propaganda? Can we go after propaganda spreaders who knowingly falsely claim other stuff is propaganda?

Or Gen. Milley telling the ChiComs he’d give them a heads up if Pres. Trump did anything against them.

CommoChief in reply to LibraryGryffon. | September 18, 2024 at 9:18 am

Between rounding up those guilty of misinformation/propaganda/lies re Obamacare, the healthcare system, Ukraine and Covid I am very confident that there’s enough overlap with the folks making ‘Russia, Russia Russia’ claims and the lies about Hunter’s laptop that we get 99% of them. Especially when we expand it to include deliberate suppression of information that was correct.

The CCP couldn’t buy a better advocate. She is committed to the cause.

BigRosieGreenbaum | September 17, 2024 at 10:37 am

She’s still stuck on the Russians won the election for Trump. Maybe she should be taken off the air for spreading propaganda. I guess according to her, we’ll be safe if we vote in her favored dictator, the one world government.

It has to have been Russia. It can’t have been that she was a terrible candidate and even the people who “like” her don like her.

WTPuck in reply to Martin. | September 17, 2024 at 11:29 am

And she was confident the fix was in.

Lanceman in reply to WTPuck. | September 17, 2024 at 11:48 am

The fix was in. Just not in the right places. Remember, obama did not win re-election legitimately. Hillary (and Owlgore) won no ‘popular’ vote. They stole 2020 on the order of 22 million manufactured/changed/deleted votes across all 50 states. And if you think the alphabet agencies are incapable of that kind of fraud, I have a fridge to sell you. Unless you believe a drooling pedophile somehow managed 11 million more votes than The First Historic Black President™

      AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to Martin. | September 17, 2024 at 12:44 pm

No one wanted a president who had to loaded into a van like a sack of potatoes during a 9/11 remembrance.

thalesofmiletus in reply to Martin. | September 17, 2024 at 1:53 pm

She’s terribly anti-charismatic, but everyone in her circle treats her like royalty. She can’t help but have a distorted view of the world.

The biggest distributor of propaganda on American soil is now the American federal government. In the National Defense Authorization Act of 2012, a ‘bipartisan’ group (of Deepstate operatives) inserted a provision that repealed essential elements of the Smith–Mundt Act of 1945 that specifically forbade the US government from using State Department propaganda on US Soil. The legislation was written by Adam Smith (the horrible Dem rep from Washington State) and Mac Thornberry, the Neocon Texas Representative who know works at the Council on Foreign Relations…because of course he does.

It infuriates me that no one in Congress, but particularly the notable ‘limited government conservatives’ have given any effort to restoring the crucial elements of Smith–Mundt that prohibit the FedGov from doing what they’ve been clearly doing since 2013.

You mean like YOU and your ‘russian collusion’ hoax you disgusting fu*king c*nt?

destroycommunism | September 17, 2024 at 11:06 am

wellll,,,yeah

when you are the slave masta as she and her mates are

its easy to control the kangaroo court system

no wonder bill strayed

Hillary Clinton IS walking, talking propaganda. As is every libtard.

Eliminate any sort of immunity for government employees and their agents first. Drag them into court at their own expense then maybe we can get serious about an issue they helped create. Our own government internationally and domestically have entire units that specialize in these exact activity.
Many are now in collusion with the large media companies to either promote or dilute the messaging.

thalesofmiletus | September 17, 2024 at 12:58 pm

“Why am I not fifty points ahead? Trump can’t possibly be this popular! It must be a Vast Russian Conspiracy to steal the election! It must!” /drink

She hasn’t lost her looks.

Victor Immature | September 17, 2024 at 4:02 pm

Good to know she’s still a bitter and withered old clam.

Hillary should be careful what she wishes for.

“Hillary Clinton: Americans Spreading ‘Propaganda’ Should be ‘Criminally Charged’”
Russia Russia Russia, you wizened bitch,
I look forward to seeing you in orange. Or red.

As others have observed, under this vile, lawless, vicious, evil, mendacious and subversive crone’s standards, if fairly applied, she would be among the first Dhimmi-crat apparatchiks to be jailed, along with Obama, Brennan. Rice and the rest of the vile and lawless Obama cabal, for spreading misinformation and disinformation from Benghazi to the Russian Collusion dirty tricks hoax/sabotage.
