‘New Tolerance Campaign’ Launches ‘Hate Map’ to Track Left Wing Violence

It’s about time someone did this. The New Tolerance Campaign did it. It seems to be inspired, in part, by the SPLC’s hate map. Professor Jacobson is mentioned in the piece, too.

Violent leftist hate has been ignored for too long — new map calls it out
The bullet that whizzed through the ear of former President Donald Trump in Butler, Penn., on July 13 was fired by a shooter with apparently leftist sympathies.
The man who opened fire on Republicans practicing for the Congressional baseball game and nearly took House Majority Leader Steve Scalise’s life in 2017 campaigned for Democratic Sen. Bernie Sanders.
The transgender perpetrator of the 2023 Nashville school shooting, who murdered three 9-year-olds and three adults at the Presbyterian Covenant School, held a deep hatred for Christianity and said she would “kill” to get puberty blockers.
These aren’t one-off events.
A through-line unites all three harrowing incidents as well as hundreds of others: All emerged amid the extremist hate fomented by America’s progressive left.
One could be forgiven for not making the connection…
It’s a sad decline and a far cry from the SPLC’s message at the time of its 1971 founding, when it formed to rightfully condemn legitimately hateful domestic terrorist organizations like the Ku Klux Klan.

In fact, in all its history, the SPLC has never put a left-wing group on its Hate Map.
Such an abdication of duty and abandonment of mission isn’t just dishonest; it’s dangerous.

Expect the SPLC to declare the New Tolerance Campaign a hate group in 3 … 2 … 1 …
Morris Dees and the “old” SPLC never really did that much to disband the Klan, because the FBI and old DOJ has pretty much dismembered it, as had the state authorities largely by the middle of the 1960s. Morris Dees used the SPLC and it had a HORRIBLE charity rating. He was run out of the SPLC for, and this is well documented: racial discrimination; sexual harassment; and organizational mismanagement in 2019/2020 by the SPLC’s board. Just use your search engine of choice to look it up. So much for SPLC’s “moral authority” on *anything*.
He still cleared a healthy bank balance from it all.
The campaign seems to concentrate overly on individual jihadists and Hamas groups, leavened with a smaller concentration of Antifa.
When I think about left-wing hate crimes, the first one that comes to mind is the shooting of Steve Scalise at the congressional baseball practice game. The second is Aidan Hale, the trans school shooter in Nashville. And of course, there is the new contestant from Butler, PA. None of those cases rated inclusion on this map?
