Germany: Knife-Attacker Stabs Three People to Death at ‘Diversity’ Festival, Screams Allahu Akbar

Germany: Knife-Attacker Stabs Three People to Death at ‘Diversity’ Festival, Screams Allahu Akbar

Reuters: “The Islamic State group claimed responsibility on Saturday for a knife attack in the western German city of Solingen.”

At least three people were killed and several others seriously injured when a knife attacker went on a killing spree while screaming ‘Allahu Akbar.’

The attacker, who managed to flee the scene of crime, is reportedly of ‘Middle Eastern-origin,’ local media reports say.  “The perpetrator, according to eyewitness statements is an Arab-looking man,” German newspaper Bild reported.

The Islamic State took responsibility for the deadly attack. “The Islamic State group claimed responsibility on Saturday for a knife attack in the western German city of Solingen that killed three people on Friday,” Reuters reported Saturday.

The deadly attack comes as largely Muslim demonstrations across the West have been calling for “globalizing the Intifada,” a reference to large-scale terrorist attacks against Jews and Israelis in late 1990s and in early 2000s.

Friday’s attacker attended a local mosque and screamed “Allahu Akbar” while stabbing his victims, the German weekly Welt am Sonntag reported Saturday:

According to a report by the Solingen police, obtained by the Welt am Sonntag: “One of the witness injured [in the attack] said that he knows the unidentified suspect from Solingen and he is also an attendee at a local mosque. One witness said that during the attack “Allahu Abkar” was shouted.

Despite mounting evidence, the German media and authorities are apparently in the dark about the true motives of the attacker. The Germen police “didn’t rule out’ that the Allahu Akbar-screaming attacker could have been an Islamic terrorist.

“The police don’t yet have any concrete information about [perpetrator’s] motive ,” German daily Das Handelsblatt noted Saturday. “After the fatal knife attack in Solingen, the public prosecutor’s office does not rule out a terrorist background.”

German state TV ARD reported the details of the attack:

Three people were killed in a knife attack at a town festival in Solingen, North Rhine-Westphalia state, on late Friday evening. The crime occurred around 9:30 p.m. on the crowded market square in the city center. A stage was set up on it for the celebration of the 650th year of city’s founding. The crime occurred right in front of the stage.

The attacker escaped due to the ensuing chao and panic. Emergency services are looking for him with a large contingent.

Three visitors to the city festival were fatally wounded in the attack, eight others were injured, some seriously. Several of them are still in mortal danger.

While the culprit remains at large, the police have detained a 15-year-old boy who is believed to “have been in contact’ with the attacker, German news reports say.

Knife crimes have sky-rocketed in Germany since the surge of illegal immigration to the country in 2015. The data from “states showed that there were a total number of 26,113 knife attacks in Germany in 2023,” German newspaper Süddeutsche Zeutung reported Saturday.

But if you blame Islam or Muslims online it is a hate crime.

Still no Final Solution, Germany?

1) We can expect the German government to imitate their counterparts in Soviet Britain and make any mention of the event or criticism of the event a felony in and of itself.

2) I look forward with some amusement to the State declaring that knives in Solingen need to be banned. [For those who do not know, Solingen knives are famed throughout the western world.]

3) Gentle Grizzly, the EU will ban any form of solution that does not involve cultural suicide for the West.

4) Granting that we are less capable by the day to fulfill our treaty mutual defense commitments; but one has to wonder how long we need to defend NATO when they are busy surrendering to Islam.

Gee, I’m scratching my head wondering what could possibly have motivated the murderer. It couldn’t possibly have been his death cult of a religion, could it?

Another day, another Muslim terrorist attack that will be excused away by the self-loathing, white communists that currently run most Western governments.

Citizens, don’t criticize the foreign, unassimilated invaders! That would be mean and racist which will get you a 3 year stretch.

At this very moment, I’m listening to German music of 80 years or so ago. It is posted by “Deutschlandsenfer” at YouTube. He almost always has Travelogue type footage to go with it.

I see clean streets, buildings with architectural value rather than what we have today, and people that seem to be enjoying theirselves at leisure when it’s that type of footage. Of course, most of these travelog shots were taken before the big war. How much Germany has lost. But, they brought it upon themselves.

In one of the articles linked above (tagesschau.de), there’s this unbelievable blurb…

After the knife attack of Solingen, Vice-Chancellor Robert Habeck has come out in favour of a stricter gun law. “We don’t know whether the terrible act of Solingen could have been prevented with stricter laws,” said the Green Policyan. But some legal tightenings are simply correct and necessary: “More weapons ban zones and stricter weapons laws – no one in Germany needs public barriers and stabbing weapons. We no longer live in the Middle Ages.”

Liberals are crazy in every country.

That’s a mistranslation. “stricter gun law” should be “stricter weapon law”, or “a more restrictive right to weapons”. Even he’s not stupid enough to attack guns for a knife attack; he’s attacking all weapons.

“Even he’s not stupid enough to attack guns for a knife attack;”
We have documented instances of US politicians doing so.

I believe what the Vice Chancellor was talking about was specifically reducing the length of knife that would be allowed to be carried in public from 5 inches to 2.6 inches. How he thinks people intent on murder will follow this new law is a mystery.

Give me a couple of hours with a bench grinder and a used truck spring and I’ll have a double-edged razor-sharp short sword. Give me some nice hardwood and a couple more hours and I’ll have full-tang grips for it, too.

In their utopia-capable universe no one would have any weapons at all. There would be no sharp rocks, since everything would be reduced to rounded gravel too small to throw, or to be used in a sling or slingshot. There would be no trees, because branches might be fashioned into clubs. Et cetera ad nauseum. The entire world would be made of Nerf material.

And it STILL wouldn’t stop the bigger, stronger, faster, more violent-minded predators from preying on the weaker, older, and handicapped.

They are either stupid, evil, or (let us embrace the healing power of “and”) both.

I’m pretty sure that in the “New Europe” that soon your mention that such fabrication is actually possible by a mere subject of the State will be criminalized. Kind of like the possession by the WW-II Resistance of the plans for a homemade STEN gun widely distributed by the S.O.E. was a crime.

Why not make murder and assault with a knife illegal?

The truth is that criminals don’t need guns or knives. It’s the weak and helpless need firearms to defend themselves from evil.

Not reported in this article (computer translated from the original German):

Almost ten kilometers east of the attack site, a folk festival, the Wermelskirchen autumn fair, has also been running since Friday evening. Tens of thousands of visitors are expected by Tuesday evening. Part of the event is always a traditional till market for household goods. Five dealers for knives and cutlery, all from Solingen, were registered for this year.

At least on Saturday, they are no longer allowed to have the knives in the exhous and sell them. “I can understand the decision,” says one of the dealers while he stows the boxes with knives back in his car.

Knife control! That will certainly stop any killers who were too stupid to remember to bring their own.

The great irony here is that Solingen is a famous global supplier of high-end cutlery. Banning knife sales in Solingen is like banning salt-water taffy sales on Coney Island,

BTW, as of this hour, many other outlets are now reporting that Islamic State (ISIS) has claimed responsibility saying the attack was ‘revenge for Muslims in Palestine and everywhere.’

ISIS routinely claims responsibility for any attack whether they knew of it or not. I’d not put much stock in their claim as yet. The “Allahu Akbar”, while maybe true is based on one outlet claiming one person heard it. I’d be a little skeptical of that claim also.
I don’t find it far fetched that the guy was doing the Muslim terrorist thing, though and reports out now are that the police have arrested a suspect.

Germany, Sweden, England, France, and a few other European countries have allowed too many Muslims to immigrate. The relative birthrates of Muslims vs Europeans, and the lax immigration policies suggest that these countries will continue to have larger proportions of Muslims.

These Muslim terrorist attacks will continue unabated in the west, so long as we elect leftist/Dhimmi-crat leaders who are steeped in dishonest, emasculated, ignorant and feckless dhimmitude, who continue to ignore 1,400 years of history (and, contemporary events), theology and common sense; who refuse to see the problem in front of them; and, who gleefully make common political cause and alliances with goose-stepping, subversive, western democracy-hating, Jew-hating, Christian-hating and Hindu-hating Muslim supremacists and Islamofascists.

Welt am Sonntag may be making the claim about the Allahu Akbar but as near as I can tell they are the only source. BBC, Guardian, AP, NYT, no one else is saying this.

The left needs to follow through with its disparate impact philosophy. Either safeguard whites from Muslim knife attacks or knife a proportional number of Muslims.

I’m old enough to remember when headlines would simply report the actual news.

“Muslim Terrorist Murders Three At German ‘Diversity’ Festival”

Is it illegal now to call a Muslim Terrorist what he is?
