Authorities Investigating Break-In at Trump’s Virginia Campaign Office
“It is rare to have the office of any political campaign or party broken into,” said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman.
Virginia authorities are investigating a break-in at campaign offices for former President Donald Trump on Sunday.
The Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office received a break-in alert at 9 PM:
The burglar took off before deputies responded to the scene, and now an investigation is underway.
Video surveillance captured footage of the suspect, described as a white man dressed in dark clothing, wearing a dark cap, and carrying a backpack when he entered the building.
“It is rare to have the office of any political campaign or party broken into,” said Loudoun County Sheriff Mike Chapman. “We are determined to identify the suspect, investigate why it happened, and determine what may have been taken as well as what may have been left behind.”

I’m pretty sure he did campaign on closing the Dept of Education. But the key point missing from Grizz’s comment is that a president can’t close any department or agency. It takes Congress to do that. Both houses. And the president to sign the bill.
Uncovered face and no gloves, so almost certainly not a pro. But, he’s apparently unknown to local law enforcement which maybe points to an out-of-towner. Why would a non-local guy break into a political campaign office? The imagination quickly runs wild. I would be curious if they were able to pull any prints, something that is rarely done (exceedingly so) for burglaries but maybe they’d go the extra mile considering what he broke into. Also curious why the feds aren’t involved. They can spare three dozen agents to investigate a garage door pull but can’t spare a couple bodies to investigate a break-in at a presidential campaign office particularly considering what happened just 31-days ago?
“Out-of-towner” is pretty easy up in Loudon County, There’s a giant cluster of Progressivism all over and around DC.
