Wesley Bell is no paragon himself. The only way he looks good is in comparison with Bush.
Bell was elected DA on the promise to prosecute Darren Wilson. In the end he just couldn’t come up with grounds to do it, so he had no choice but to break the promise. And the far left holds it against him. But he tried his best.
There’s also a capital punishment case going on. I do not know the facts, but I smell a giant rat. Supposedly the guy has solid evidence of his actual innocence, but as I understand it, every court that’s looked at the case said the guy should be executed, until Wesley Bell, in his capacity as county prosecuting attorney, decided to petition to have the guy released, and that’s the only reason the execution was delayed. Somehow that just does not seem plausible to me. I would bet a small amount that the evidence for his innocence doesn’t really stand up to scrutiny, But I don’t know.
Missouri is so boned.

This is incorrect. The DNA testing he is calling exculpatory is actually inconclusive and does not exclude him. Thus, the rejection of his phony innocence claim.
