Report: Obama Hasn’t Endorsed Kamala Harris Because He Thinks She Can’t Beat Trump

The Biden family isn’t going down quietly.

A person close to the Biden family told The New York Post that former President Barack Obama hasn’t endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris because he doesn’t think she can beat former President Donald Trump.

This is the second report from The New York Post from someone close to the Biden family (I don’t know if it’s the same source) who leaked information.

The Biden family is not going down quietly. Are these sources telling the truth? Who knows. But it could cause a rift or stir some trouble in a chaotic situation.

The first report said the bigwigs within the Democrat Party pushed out Biden.

Now, if I recall correctly, Obama did not endorse anyone in 2016 or 2020 until after the primary. Maybe Hillary right before the convention.

However, 2024 is a completely different situation. It’s obvious the party pushed out Biden. It’s obvious the party used 2020 as a way to get Kamala to the top of the ticket without the voters.

It’s also obvious Harris will be the 2024 nominee.

From The New York Post:

Following Joe Biden’s shock resignation from the race on Sunday, and his immediate endorsement of the vice president, most of the Democratic elite have been quick to rally behind Harris — but Obama is a notable exception.

“Obama’s very upset because he knows she can’t win,” the Biden family source told The Post.

“Obama knows she’s just incompetent — the border czar who never visited the border, saying that all migrants should have health insurance. She cannot navigate the landmines that are ahead of her.”

“When you are running for president there are things you can and can’t say.”

The source also said a debate between Trump and Harris will show she is weak:

“Wait until the debate… She can’t debate. She’s going to put her foot in her mouth about Israel, Palestine, Ukraine. She’s going to say something really stupid,” the source said.

Obama wanted Biden out of the race, but he thought the party would go with someone else.

Obama preferred Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly. The source in the first Post report mentioned the possibility of Kelly coming out on top at the convention:

However, the higher ups in the Democratic Party didn’t count on Biden endorsing Harris right away and “Obama was shocked” when Joe endorsed her, according to the insider.

After Biden’s ouster, Obama — who did not return a request for comment Wednesday — wanted Arizona Senator and former astronaut Mark Kelly “at the top of the ticket” when the Democratic National Convention is held next month, the source said.

Obama is “furious,” things haven’t gone his way, which is why he is not joining in the Democratic Party’s support of Harris,” the Biden source added.

But another Democrat source isn’t surprised Obama overplayed his hand:

Another well-placed Democrat source said, “Obama being surprised by a smart political decision actually makes sense when coupled with his personal inability to see politics beyond his singular, immediate interests.

“Obama always thinks he is the smartest and coolest guy in the room. He’s friends with George Clooney, after all.”

Again, I believe anything at this point.

Kamala should also step down and not accept the nomination for the good of the country and “democracy”.

    She should, but she won’t.

She would never walk away from being the first Black Asian Jamaican Indian female? president.

The lure of being the “FIRST” won’t let her.

Obama, Rush’s accurately titled Magic Negro, has only brought bad luck with his endorsements,

Rush didn’t originate the phrase, the L.A. Times did — he just brought it to public attention, to the Left media’s chagrin.

Even Media Matters admits the newspaper’s role in originating the nickname, and you know that had to hurt.

Read carefully here – these are lawyers we’re talking about here. 😝

He said she couldn’t win, he did not say she couldn’t be elected. As we saw with Biden, the Democrats know how to rig the system so that, will of the people be damned, their guy gets into office.

It was in 2008 Obama that said “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America.”

Radical islamists rioted last night assaulting police officers, vandalizing monuments and burning American flags. The sitting vice president went to a sorority meeting instead of hosting a foreign head of state.

    Are you paying attention yet?

The_Mew_Cat in reply to Peter Moss. | July 25, 2024 at 2:12 pm

I think Obama wanted Mark Kelly to take Michelle as VP, and Biden put the kibbosh on that. Obama doesn’t have enough confidence that KH can be elected to allow the risk of his wife running on that ticket, although Michelle Obama as VP would certainly help Kamala Harris. But being on a losing ticket would prevent any future plans for the Presidency. Obama wants a sure thing, and KH isn’t it.

E Howard Hunt | July 25, 2024 at 9:25 am

The talent pool for the presidency could be improved by a constitutional amendment disqualifying those with a law or Ivy League degree, or anyone who has served more than 15 percent of his working years in the government or non-profit sphere.

    thats on par with the

women shouldnt be allowed to vote, that you keep pushing

E Howard Hunt in reply to destroycommunism. | July 25, 2024 at 11:10 am

I can’t mention that anymore. It’s on the list of topics that disagree with a contributor’s views; therefore gets one banned. Glad the contributor isn’t black because then I couldn’t criticize BLM.

You aren’t “criticizing” a specific left-wing (or any) movement, you are advocating, constantly, for the disenfranchisement of all women. All American women. Every single one. If you want to spout that incredibly insulting garbage, you are free to do so. Just not here. Whinging on about it is just hilarious, though.

E Howard Hunt in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | July 25, 2024 at 11:33 am

I suggest you read Amy Wax, a genius who is not afraid of the truth.

nordic prince in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | July 25, 2024 at 2:25 pm

You do realize that the Founding Fathers didn’t extend the franchise to women, right? They no doubt had their reasons. Might be worthwhile to examine their justification for such before labeling their views “insulting garbage.”

Ad hominem is a cheap way to avoid discussion.

Ah, another voice heard on repealing the 19th. Good luck with that.

Now do disenfranchizing black voters (also not allowed to vote via the Founding Fathers). Go on, let’s hear it. No one but the elite, land-owning, wealthy upper-class (that counts YOU out) heterosexual white men should be allowed to vote. There’s your party platform, go build on that. Somewhere else.

nordic prince in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | July 25, 2024 at 7:47 pm

Fuzzy, your reading comprehension is somewhat lacking. Where, exactly, did I say I advocated for excluding anyone from the franchise?

What I DID advocate for is a honest discussion of the subject, rather than a knee-jerk reaction. The FF surely did have their reasons. Do you think they were stupid? Or merely bigoted? Or, perhaps, their view was founded upon legitimate reasons? You’ll never know if you dismiss the topic out of hand.

If you think they were wrong, you should be able to defend your position and demonstrate logically why they’re wrong rather than responding with “shaddup, because!”

nordic prince in reply to Fuzzy Slippers. | July 25, 2024 at 7:58 pm

Do you understand why the franchise included the bit about landowners? Have you ever heard of the concept “skin in the game”? Do you think that people who have no “skin in the game” (the modern equivalent is “pay taxes”) should be allowed to vote? Why? Should the wolves vote to have the lamb for dinner? Should those who devour be allowed to vote themselves benefits at the expense of the hardworking taxpayer?

destroycommunism in reply to E Howard Hunt. | July 25, 2024 at 9:57 pm

well then iffff thats the case

you know and she knows she has been intellectually defeated and I hope thats not the case as the integrity of this site is 100% dependent on free thinkers advocating for justice the way they see fit

otherwise those lefty lunatics are the winners as they shut us down and people who are pro american ( like the rinos claim they are) shut us down too

In that same amendment put in a provision to exclude from being able to vote those who receive a government welfare check.

Considering the kiss of death that is the Obama endorsement, Kamala should be grateful.

Or is he waiting for the Convention to surprise the world with the news that he is endorsing his fake *wife* who actually WILL accept the nomination?

No one does fake like Big Mike and the magic negro longs for vast attention so he can tell everyone how “smart* and *great* he really is; this could give him another term or two.

“Hey Mike, if Joe could stay hidden so could you.” You wouldn’t have to lift a finger or work any more than a few hours four times a year.”

“Obama preferred Arizona Sen. Mark Kelly. The source in the first Post report mentioned the possibility of Kelly coming out on top at the convention:”

Perhaps that’s WHY Biden endorsed Cackles. He (or at least his puppeteers) knows Obama orchestrated (or at least significantly helped) his being pushed into stepping aside. He’s also a vindictive SOB. I’m sure he know that Obama preferred someone else, so immediately endorsing Mrs. Emhoff may just have been his (and/or Dr. Jill’s) brand of retaliation.

CDR D in reply to Sailorcurt. | July 25, 2024 at 11:07 am

Kelly would be a formidable candidate in my opinion. His credentials are superior to Willie’s blow-up doll. Combat Naval aviator, Astronaut, Senator. His disdain for the 2nd Am is a deal breaker for me.

jqusnr in reply to Sailorcurt. | July 25, 2024 at 11:07 am

This also he wants to push yet another white man instead of a black female.
Also the money… only slo joe or Harris can touch it.
I believe Mooch is going to b nominee.

It has been pointed out elsewhere that Obama has delayed endorsing candidates to later stages of election cycles.

While his failure to endorse Harris to this point might genuinely mean a lack of support for her, he may simply be waiting for a better time to do it.

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to ChrisPeters. | July 25, 2024 at 11:22 am

Because we all know that Obama craves attention. He would wait until the dust settles so he can make his grand entrance as the savior of the Democratic Party by endorsing (insert candidate name here).

destroycommunism | July 25, 2024 at 10:27 am

Its for money and power

by not acknowledging harris it allows the

Michelle Mystic to continue
and that means $$$ and power ( control over obama pr machine to the “world”)

He will once there is no other choice. Remember he didn’t endorse biden until he had no one else to choose from.

destroycommunism | July 25, 2024 at 10:52 am

again

so at this very moment who is the commander -in-chief!?!!?

omar is seeing our weaknesses

will they set something up so kamala can “push the button”

and declare victory over some “outside agitators”

OR WILL THE LEFTY GET SOME “right wingers” to do something and have Kamala PROVEEE to be the woman of the century!???

    AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to destroycommunism. | July 25, 2024 at 11:28 am

We haven’t had a Commander In Chief for nearly four years.

We have, according KJP, a “Team” that is notified if something happens. That team then makes all of the decisions and then notifies Biden by waking him up from his drug induced stupor and brings him up to speed.

AF_Chief_Master_Sgt | July 25, 2024 at 11:26 am

Obama is clearly a racist and a misogynist.

The half white former president prefers a white male over Harris. He believes she’s stupid, vapid, and incapable of doing a job that only a white man can do.

😏

The above proves that I can’t do stand up or liberal BS at all.

Biden endorsed Harris because he is vindicative. He knows that there is no way other big name Democrats are going to let Harris walk away with the nomination. The Democratic convention is going to blow up in a bunch of clicks and Biden is going to laugh himself silly.

    Dimsdale in reply to Gersh204. | July 26, 2024 at 7:49 am

I don’ t think he is that smart, or aware, anymore.

The Dems painted themselves into a DEI corner, and had to select her.

Hoist on their own petard and taking us with them.

ThePrimordialOrderedPair | July 25, 2024 at 12:38 pm

Kamala should consider herself lucky. Barky has the Medusa Touch – pretty much everyone he has endorsed has lost. I’m not sure who anyone thinks is really moved by a Barky endorsement. Certainly no one in America.

In 2020, Obama enlisted Rep Clyburn to anoint Biden as the nominee and issued instructions to the other candidates as to when to withdraw and throw their support to Biden.

Harris was selected as the VP.

Biden was to serve only one term because the damage he would inflict would be politically impossible to survive. Then his successor would take the next four years. Obviously, the successor they had in mind is Harris.

So why isn’t Obama publically endorsing Harris as this was the plan long ago? Because Biden didn’t own up to his end of the bargain and stubbornly refused to step aside, thereby had to be forced out. This created a politically messy optic as Democrats had to make public his ineptness and the consequences of his (their) policies.

Obama is looking to distance himself from it, the same as he distanced himself from open border, rising inflation and rising crime over the last four years — outcomes Obama was planning on so as to fulfill his narcissistic ego. Harris now has that all on her and that’s too much baggage for Obama to lift. It exposes him as the puppet master.

    The_Mew_Cat in reply to George S. | July 25, 2024 at 2:22 pm

I think selecting Harris as VP was actually a “Joe Biden” decision. He needed someone who fit the demographics who didn’t have a real political power base and therefore couldn’t upstage him or easily 25th him. In other words, she was never a threat to Sloe Joe.
