Rep. Hakeem Jeffries Says ‘Biden is Our Nominee’ as More Democrats Tell Biden to Step Aside

Seven more Congressional Democrats called on Biden to step aside today.

Democrats: Civil War is a great movie so far.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries told reporters that he still supports President Joe Biden:

“President Biden, as I’ve said repeatedly, is our nominee,” Jeffries told reporters Friday, as concerns heighten over the president’s fitness and mental competency to serve another four years.

“He has a tremendous track record of success. He’s one of the most accomplished American presidents in our history. And he has the vision, I believe, the ability, the capacity, and the track record to make a case to the American people that will result in us being successful in November,” Jeffries said.

A clip of the remark was posted by White House Senior Deputy Press Secretary and Deputy Assistant to the President Andrew Bates.

Biden Campaign Chair Jen O’Malley Dillon said this morning that Biden is staying in the race.

However, over 30 Congressional Democrats have told Biden to step aside.

Seven have emerged today:

  • Rep. Zoe Lofgren (D-CA)
  • Rep. Greg Landsman (D-OH)
  • Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-NM)
  • Rep. Jared Hoffman (D-CA)
  • Rep. Mark Veasey (D-TX)
  • Rep. Chuy Garcia (D-IL)
  • Rep. Mark Pocan (D-WI)

The Congressional Hispanic Caucus’s political arm, BOLD PAC, endorsed Biden:

First reported in The Hill, BOLD PAC Chairwoman Rep. Linda Sánchez, D-Calif., said Friday, “President Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris have delivered for the Latino community and CHC BOLD PAC is proud to endorse them for re-election.”

“From historic investments in our infrastructure system to expanding access to affordable health care, they have championed policies that lifted up our families and communities,” she said.

Sánchez argued that the Biden administration has shown commitment to the Latino community and argued that former President Trump winning another term would be “disastrous” to Latinos.

“It is clear that Latino voters will decide the margin of victory in competitive races up and down the ballot this cycle, from California and New Mexico to Arizona, Pennsylvania, Nevada, and Nebraska,” she said. “BOLD PAC is investing in targeted outreach and strategic campaigns so that Latino voters mobilize for Democrats up and down the ballot this cycle and power President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris to victory.”

I hope old Joe tells those weak kneed cowards to stuff it!

Do 20 pushups, Joe! That will show them!

(up the minimum offer to withdraw to $259 million to show them you mean business while you are at)

… and I will have another bucket of popcorn, please.

“Biden is still our nominee.”

You can tell that Hakeem is not a doctor. If he were, he’d’a said “I think you’d better sit down,” first.

The USS Biden-Harris (a dilapidated cargo carrier, brimming with putrid stores of manure) is steaming straight into the Trump-Vance iceberg.

If Hakeem Jeffries says something I believe it because he has honest eyes.

yes I wud like extra butter on my bucket of popcorn please
and I think some para cheese wud
be nice also …. thank you
yes I have some frozen chocolate
to go with it … thank you.

Headline alert: Extra ‘s’ in nominee.

“He has a tremendous track record of success.”

Who knew Jeffries was actually talking about Trump and not Biden?

30 Dem Congress Critters have come out against Biden? Gee, that’s only 12% of the entire Hill delegation. Seems to me Pudding Cup would be feeling the squeeze a lot more if it was 40-50%. I suspect that’s why he’s holding on.

“Rep. Hakeem Jeffries Says ‘Biden is Our Nominee’”
“Biden Campaign Chief: ‘He is in This Race to Win, He is Our Nominee’”
“He’s gonna be our president for a second term.”

This is as entertaining as watching a train wreck… of a train that was hijacked by and currently being operated by a gang of inept train robbers.

I will stick with my original prediction: Biden* will be the nominee. But whether the Communist Party allows him to live to Election Day Week Month Season is another matter.

Hakeem Jeffries supports Biden because he is his puppet on a string.

I wish he’d expand on Biden’s track record of “success”. Let’s see: he successfully made it down to breakfast almost every day, he’s managed to take a pee, even with an old prostate, he hasn’t taken a fall in a few days, he remembered who Dr. Jill is. Yup, he good!

Seth Moulton, Congressman from MA, just told CNN that Joe Biden has known Moulton for more than a decade. But, at last month’s D-Day commemorations, Biden didn’t recognize him, had no idea who he was. This is why Moulton has called for Biden to end his campaign.

Ok. But, why isn’t Moulton calling for Biden’s removal as president? If Biden can’t remember people he’s known for a decade or more, what else can’t he remember?
