FLASHBACK: Vice President Kamala Harris Struggles to Define Culture

“and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment that is a reflection of joy, because every — you know, it comes in the morning.”

Speaking of weird…

In June of last year, Vice President Kamala Harris served up this head-scratching “word salad.” At a conversation at the Essence Festival of Culture in New Orleans, Harris attempted to define “culture” but instead quickly confused everyone who was listening.

Harris: “Well, I think culture is — it is a reflection of our moment in our time, right? And — and present culture is the way we express how we’re feeling about the moment. And — and we should always find times to express how we feel about the moment that is a reflection of joy, because every — you know, it comes in the morning. (Awkward cackle) We have to find ways to also express the way we feel about the moment in terms of just having language and a connection to how people are experiencing life. And I think about it in that way, too.”

JFC, what a verbal mess.
And the Democrats counted coup on Joe Biden for THIS cretin?

Only goes to show how bad Joe has gotten, as if there was any doubt.

That’s the fun part, they had no way to bypass her without self-destructing their party and alienating the most loyal part of their base which is black women.

She’s doing better than Biden, and the Democrats are much more positive about her than they were with Biden.

The soft bigotry of low expectations

“She’s doing better than Biden, and the Democrats are much more positive about her than they were with Biden.”

O really? Then how come candidates for VP aren’t lining up to run with her? How come most polls show Trump still in the lead? How come even Nate Silver thinks she loses? How come it took King Putt forever to give her a lukewarm endorsement?

Tell me you’re a dumbass without telling me you’re a dumbass.
      Quit upvoting yourself.

As noted by a commentator: Pres. Trump’s support is real and organic; Harris’ is synthetic, based on lies, media propaganda and internet scrubbing.

      What a crock of shit.

She is as phony as phony gets. The Dems have selected a perfect representative.

When I see the sky it reminds us all that there are no limits to our present-day culture, a culture defined by time and the significance of the passage of time is how we unburden the constraints of time and the significance of the passage of time is how we, how we share in the synovial egress to influxing the hordes I was delegated to protecting.
Cackle cackle cackle, mmm hmmm.

because every — you know, it comes in the morning.

WTFF???

I listened to that answer 5 times and I still could not figure out what the hell she was trying to say, here.

It’s amazing that she doesn’t know what “culture” is. I would really like to hear the part before the excerpt to hear exactly what they asked her that kicked off her stream-of-unconsciousness utterings.

Somehow I don’t hear the word black.

As kamala campaigns the country yearns for the clarity and coherence of joe biden.

As long as she keeps that up, the communists are wasting their resources backing her.

I had to go through the WHOLE video of the interview to get to this question. It’s all the way at 41:15. Kamala Chameleon is not asked to define “culture”. She’s asked how important she thinks culture is to “help” black women be activists, basically … whatever that might mean. It’s pretty much meaningless utterances back and forth, there.

Besides being a dyed in wool Cultural Marxist, she is a mess as a candidate. I still think she will not be their’s by the end of the conversation. If she is, and they can fraud her over the finish line then we are done as a country.

“Vice President Kamala Harris Struggles”

Full stop. FTFY

Most things are not easy to define because you know how to use the words but don’t know the rules. It comes from how kids learn language – by learning to disassemble and reassemble cliches. The word is the collection of cliches it shows up in.

You know everything about the word but not its definition, if it has one.

Sometimes the lexicographer’s task is easy for subdefinitions, e.g. HONEST aj 2. (of women) Chaste. Sort of an aside from the usual uses.

Consider a chair. Is a tree stump a chair? It can serve as one but it isn’t a chair. How about a stand with pegs for crotch and armpits that you hang from? The guy looks comfortable enough. This is a case where the uncertainty isn’t anything not seen clearly but whether the definition extends to this or not. It hasn’t come up in cliches one way or the other, and the guy seems to use it as a chair. The matter will be decided if it has to be by which way cliches go on it later.

Damn rhhardin –

That’s some impressive coffee you got there….

Seriously, nobody has mentioned yet that she’s obviously drunk in that clip?

This is not a serious woman, this is Montel’s side piece.

I bet she’s had a ton of cultures tested.
