Joe is not well. He should not be president, it’s a national security risk. This is what the 25th Amendment is made for.
There have been many media scandals. Rathergate comes to mind. But most immediately, Russia collusion was the most aggressive and sustained media misinformation campaign lasting years. It operated on the level of using bits and pieces of information and disinformation to try to convince us that something we could not see (collusion) did in fact happen.
The media conduct towards Biden’s cognitive decline operated on a different level.
We saw it. We wrote about it. But for years, at least since the 2020 election cycle, the media did its best to convince you that you didn’t see what you saw. The media didn’t try to convince you that something that didn’t exist existed, it tried to convince you that something that existed didn’t exist.
It was a classic case of gaslighting:
Gaslighting is an insidious form of manipulation and psychological control. Victims of gaslighting are deliberately and systematically fed false information that leads them to question what they know to be true, often about themselves. They may end up doubting their memory, their perception, and even their sanity. Over time, a gaslighter’s manipulations can grow more complex and potent, making it increasingly difficult for the victim to see the truth.
If not for the debate — initiated by the Biden campaign — this gaslighting might have succeeded with enough people to swing an election. It is, in my estimation, the greated media scandal ever because the result was not just to skew an election, but to keep in power a cognitively unfit president, exposing uur nation to existential harm.

So, many of us watched the interview by George Stephanopoulos of Joe Biden, and I don’t think it solved any problems. In fact, it might’ve made problems worse for Democrats because Joe doesn’t want to go. He’s stubborn like he’s always been, but he didn’t have enough of a flub that it’s going to lead more Democrats to force him out.
But they have a problem because he’s not up to the job. Everybody knows it. We all saw the debate, we all saw the interview.
But what I think the big story that’s going to come out of this and is going to be developing in the coming weeks is that this could be the greatest media scandal that we’ve ever seen. And it’s the greatest media scandal, not just because the media lied, not just because they deceived us. That’s happened so many times.
But they did it to cover up what we all saw in plain sight. With Russia collusion, they were inventing things we couldn’t see and trying to convince us that they happened. With the Biden cognitive failures, they were trying to convince us that something we all saw didn’t happen and wasn’t happening.
I predict that this will be the greatest media scandal at least in the last 10 or 20 years.

AGs in every state should investigate this fraud but we all know the results would be. The blue states are happy with the 2020 results and most of the red states are led by spineless weenies.
The media has been hiding Biden’s dirty laundry for a long time and have been keeping the dirty water out of sight. The pressure has been building. But finally last Thursday the dam broke and all kinds of nasty stuff is coming out.
Just a couple of weeks ago Biden complained about an American reporter asking him a question for which he didn’t have the answer on a note card during the G7 Summit in Italy. He said, “You guys aren’t playing by the rules.”
What should the AGs investigate? What crime has been committed?
Suppose Biden isn’t really in charge. Suppose decisions by cabinet members, etc., are made without the direction, delegation or oversight of a POTUS. Could there then be an unconstitutional exercise of executive power?
I don’t know. I’m curious about your thoughts.
My problem, not being a lawyer, is I read articles and opinion pieces from both sides of the political spectrum and see both claiming illegalities but those can tend to be far fetched opinions. Our political reporting seems to drum up feelings of their target audiences and then we, the consumers find out that the piece is an opinion, or gaslighting or outright lying.
What I have decided is when I read “charge them for breaking the law”,p I try and decide if there is an actual law broken or an ethical issue the writer disagrees with. Then if a chapter and verse of a given law is mentioned.
I have seen the democrats send people who disagree with them to prison on trumped up charges (thinking of the podcasters who claimed executive privilege with the former administration, or the granny for praying at the abortion place), while for some reason, supporters of the administration doing the same things (ie disobeying a subpoena) not be prosecuted.
I can’t think of any crime that would be committed. Even if there were some crime, I don’t think a state AG’s investigation would even have the authority to inquire into such things.
That is a good and valid question; the problem is nothing new: FDR was never to be photographed in his wheelchair. 30 years earlier than that we had the infamous story:
[William Randolph] Hearst, the activist young publisher of the New York Journal, and Frederic Remington, [was] the famous painter and sculptor of scenes of the American West. Hearst engaged Remington’s services for a month in December 1896 and sent him to Cuba to draw sketches of the rebellion then raging against Spain’s colonial rule.
After only a few days in Cuba in January 1897, Remington purport- edly sent a cable to Hearst in New York, stating: “Everything is quiet. There is no trouble here. There will be no war. I wish to return.” In reply, Hearst supposedly told the artist, “Please remain. You furnish the pictures, and I’ll furnish the war.”
So there has always been this problem with a ‘free’ press. However I cannot think of a viable solution which leads to a different but acceptable outcome.
I will say that Elon Musk is the great savior of internet freedom of speech. He has definitely slowed the advance of the Fourth Estate as a Fifth column
It has been fascinating to watch the Left turn on him – he was the genius-darling of their electric dreams, but has been turned into an evil-madman since he set Twitter free.
This is a myth, exactly like the one about Trump saying there were good people among the neo-nazis in Charlottesville. The “Businessmen’s Plot” is also a myth.

Think of all the supremely stupid stories the media has covered the last 40-months while not spending a minute on Biden’s obvious cognitive decline. There has been more coverage of the flags flying outside Alito’s home in the last several weeks than there has been of Biden’s undeniable and pronounced signs of brain disease through his entire tenure. In fact, the only media coverage has been to call people observing and commenting on these signs ‘conspiracy theorists.’
I think you are seriously underestimating how incredibly sick this society is and the sort of deranged psychopaths we have in so many positions of power and authority. The tranny BS is far worse than the gaslighting about Traitor Joe’s obvious dementia. We have authorities and media of all sorts actually claiming, with straight faces (hence the proof that they are ice-cold psychopaths) that boys can turn into girls just by saying so and clicking their heels three times. They are not just telling us that this is true but they have upended decent society by declaring that boys can pick and choose which bathrooms and locker rooms they want to use. When barky cheated his way into the Oval Office, there was a democrat operative that called himself “The White House Insider” and he gave interviews to a reporter named “Ulsterman” and it sounded ludicrous because to disguise his voice, the sound was almost silly. This operative gave stunning information, i.e. that barks sat at a table with Valerie Jarrett and people who wanted to see the president actually talked to Jarrett while Barry watched sports on a wide screen and didn’t participate. He also told of big mike getting into it with another woman (possibly Jarrett) and the fight got so out of hand that security had to be called. But his info on what was happening with Fast & Furious turned out to be accurate, as was all of his info. Many people made fun of this person, but I think his was on the money because although he tried to remain hidden, he was eventually found and was killed execution style. Before he died, he said that when everything was disclosed about barky, people would be scandalized because of how planned and false everything was.
A kid who found barky’s travel info to Pakistan tried giving it to the FBI but was also killed execution style, and at barky’s church with that horrible so called reverend, the down low club had been active and they provided cover for barky’s gay life. The man that had relations with barky was also killed execution style.
The democrats have a lot to answer for!

How do you know that, yet still not know his name?
This was years ago, and this story was kept quiet. When his name was mentioned, it wasn’t one I .recognized and it would take lots of research to find it, but when he predicted something, it was always accurate. He thought he’d given enough info on Fast and Furious to take the government down, but it didn’t play out that way, and when he was executed, Ulsterman was panicking and running for cover. So exposing the truth didn’t work out too well for him. Even if I researched and found his name, he wasn’t well known, which was probably why he was able to report his findings for so long. It was around the time of barky’s second term that he was executed.

This is particularly crazy, because there’s nothing that could possibly be secret about this.
The entire premise of this stupid idea was the claim that at the time of his Pakistan trip US passport holders were unable to travel to Pakistan, so he “must” have had another passport, and thus was disqualified from the presidency.
This rested on two utter fabrications:
First, there has never been a time when US passport holders could not travel to Pakistan. Certainly not when 0bama made his trip. So the whole theory doesn’t even begin.
Second, there is no reason in the world why a dual citizen can’t be president. To be president one must be a native born US citizen, and have lived here for 14 years, but one can have any number of other citizenships. There’s not a word in the constitution about them. So even if 0bama did have a foreign passport it would not be a problem and he’d have no reason to hide it.
Therefore the idea that “a kid” who found the information tried to give it to the FBI makes no sense; why would they be interested? And the idea that he was killed for it makes even less sense. Anyone who repeats such a bizarre fantasy has no credibility on any subject.

The point about Barky’s trip to Pakistan (with his gay friend) was not about him having to have another citizenship or anything like that. I am not sure I can apply the word “scandal” to this. “Scandal” implies a failure of a certain group of journalists and news organizations to accurately report the news, with others eventually getting the truth out. What we have seen in the coverup of Biden*’s mental decline is merely the latest fraud deliberately perpetuated on the American people in one continuous unbroken chain by practically the entire journalistic profession. Here is a partial list of just some of the events in my lifetime:

We could spend days merely listing the frauds and deceptions journalists have perpetuated over the past few decades. Lying and deceiving for partisan political purposes is what journalism is designed to do, and it is extremely rare to find a journalist who is not a part of the Communist Borg.

With respect to China and the media, just a few days ago, the Italian government acting on intelligence provided by the US, seized Chinese combat drones that were cleverly disguised as ‘wind turbines.’ These weren’t small, hand-held drones. They were Predator/Global Hawk-sized aircraft. The drones, which were disassembled and shrink-wrapped in glossy white vinyl, were sitting in an Italian port waiting for transhipment to Libya, a country that has a number of sweeping arms embargoes placed on it through UN action. I looked for that story in all of the larger US media outlets and found little. Fox News didn’t even cover the story. Other than Newsweek, it was just military blogs that offered any coverage.
The US media is very reluctant to report negatively on China.
I don’t think Fox has anybody with the ability to understand this story you are referring to..they only cover personality politics and shark attacks. I am so disappointed in them.
Biden has demonstrated a lack of mental capacity for over 50 years. He has never been better than average. Now he has dementia. His family and Party are committing elder abuse. Sure you can. The first amendment protects your right to advocate anything you like, no matter how illegal or violent. You can legally advocate the President’s assassination, or the overthrow of the USA, the resumption of the Holocaust, or the restoration of slavery.
