Illegal Alien Accused of Raping, Murdering Houston Teenager Wore ICE Ankle Monitor During the Attack

One of the illegal aliens who faces charges of raping and murdering 12-year-old Jocelyn Nungaray wore an ICE ankle monitor during the attack.
We already know neither of the accused illegal aliens should have been in the U.S.
But now this? Just wow:
Franklin Jose Pena Ramos, 26, one of the suspects behind the murder, appeared in court Monday at Harris County Criminal Court, where it was revealed that he was wearing the ankle monitor at the time he allegedly murdered Nungaray.
The ankle bracelet was provided to him when he was arrested by Border Patrol agents after entering the country illegally and being released from custody, with ICE telling Fox News in a statement Friday that he “illegally entered the U.S. without inspection, parole or admission by a U.S. immigration officer on an unknown date and at an unknown location.”
ICE also has a retainer on Ramos, the agency said.

Ramos’s defense asked for $1 million, and the judge reminded the lawyers:
Pena’s defense had suggested a bail set at $1 million, but the judge argued he represented an “astronomical” flight risk and said the chances of the suspect returning to court would be “near zero.”
If Ramos were to make bail, the judge ordered that he must wear a GPS monitor, be on house arrest 24/7, remain in Harris County, have no contact with the other suspect or the victim’s family, not have contact with anyone under the age of 18, not be in possession of firearms, drugs, or alcohol, and to surrender his passport.

How about this? Judge Hill denies bail in any amount to this illegal scumbag rapist murderer and remands his sorry butt to jail until his trial date with only his lawyer being able to see him. That way there's absolutely no chance this illegal scumbag rapist murderer would have the chance of meeting bail and disappearing after his release.
Texas, like a lot of states, judges have very strict constitutional limits that dictate when bail can be denied. The tl;dr is even in capital crimes, unless the suspect is a TWICE convicted felon, or on probation or parole from prior felony conviction, bail must be granted. Of course, nothing is stopping the judge from setting bail at millions of dollars. I think there may be one other instance that has to do felonious domestic violence when the violence was committed during the period of domestic violence restraining order….or something like that.
IMO, Texas – and all other states – should definitely add an exception to the bail laws for illegal aliens particularly considering how many illegals have entered the country the last 40-months. These two guys are the poster children for ‘no bail’ laws.
Fine. Then make the bail $100 Million, $100 Billion and throw this fecking illegal scumbag rapist murder in a jail cell until his trial with only his public defender (because you just know he’ll have a public defender at taxpayer expense) allowed to see him to consult on the case.

It’s not excessive if he’s a credible flight risk ( which he is) so 8th amendment is not violated.
While obviously not every illegal alien is a potential much less actual murderer, rapist or other type of violent criminal they are all unlawfully present. That the Biden admin chooses policies that not only turns a blind eye to this fact but provides assistance with transportation, feeding, housing is about as flipping stupid as it gets.
The Biden admin extraordinarily lenient and permissive border ‘security’ policies act as magnet. They have increased the # of illegal aliens present by 8-9 million at minimum. That’s roughly a 50% increase from the very sketchy 18-22 million estimated illegal aliens present prior to his term. We don’t have the capability to absorb these numbers. Not in fiscal, economic, cultural or societal terms. Without a multi decade pause on immigration to absorb and assimilate other legal immigrants and their offspring already present in large numbers coupled with a draconian interior deportation program this Nation will either become very hostile towards all immigrants or the traditions, customs and constitutional framework of the USA will collapse.
Just shoot him and be done with it.
