Hate Hoax: Texas Democrat Arrested For Faking Hate

“Patel started his plot in October 2022 when he created the account with the identity of a real person in Needville, Texas including photos of the person with his family as the profile picture.”

Apparently there just isn’t enough actual racism in America because all we really hear in terms of racist “hate crimes” are Democrat minorities faking hate. And badly.

The latest example is particularly galling because the perpetrator of the fake hate did two very evil things: one, he used the actual photo of an actual citizen on his hate-spewing account; and two, he waxed “tolerance” and “strength” in the face of the fake hate HE was perpetrating. So slimy and disgusting I (almost) have no words.

The New York Post reports:

An ex-Biden White House appointee and current Democratic candidate for a county commissioner seat in Texas allegedly created a dummy social media account to post bogus racist comments about himself.

Taral Patel, 30, the challenger running for county commissioner in Fort Bend County Precinct 3 just outside of Houston, was arrested for online impersonation last week after an investigation initiated by his opponent, incumbent Andy Meyers.

The Fort Bend District Attorney’s Office started the probe in October, shortly after a lengthy Facebook post Patel made in September in which he painted himself and his family as victims of a vicious race-based smear campaign perpetrated by his opponent’s supporters.

Included with the post was a collage of about a dozen racist messages he claimed he received over the course of his candidacy, calling him vile names such as “monkey” and “subhuman” and attacking his Hindu faith.

. . . . Meyers became suspicious when he recognized one of the names in the collage, “Antonio Scalywag,” as someone who had previously assailed him online, ABC 13 wrote, prompting him to request an investigation into Patel’s claims.

Investigators subpoenaed Facebook and Google to obtain account information about the user profile, which led them right back to Patel — including his address, phone number, bank card number and more.

On Wednesday Texas Rangers arrested Patel for online impersonation in the third degree — a felony — as well as a Class A misdemeanor charge for misrepresentation of identity.

This isn’t even Jussie Smollett levels of vainglorious stupid and “look at me” crazy; this was a clear attempt to influence an election by manufacturing fake hate to then “rise above” it in some delusional self-elevation. Insane. There must be something more despicable, but I am at a loss at this moment.

BREAKING: Democrat County Commissioner Taral Patel in Fort Bend, Texas was just arrested and charged for creating a fake Facebook account & posting racist comments on himself to make it appear like his Republican challenger was a racist

Is this guy the next Jussie Smollett?

Patel got charged with two counts of Felony Online Impersonation and one Class A misdemeanor charge of Misrepresentation of Identity, a Texas Election Code violation.

According to the investigation, Patel started his plot in October 2022 when he created the account with the identity of a real person in Needville, Texas including photos of the person with his family as the profile picture. He crafted the account to make it look like a Trump supporter and posted support for his Republican challenger in a racist way (more details in the thread).

Thanks to @j3669 for digging up this insane story

The hubris and hypocrisy are thick with this one.

Full text:

Patel’s Republican opponent was a guy named Andy Meyers, so he used the fake account to post the most racist thing he could think of to (1) make it seem like Meyers supporters were all racist and (2) make Meyers seem racist

“I am against false gods and their worshippers (sic) winning office in a Christian nation. I am with Meyers ALL THE WAY because he serves Jesus, unlike Patel and his followers who worship Monkey and Elephant,”

According to Hot Air, Patel leveraged his fake hate campaign against himself in the most weaselly way possible:

“[W]hen my Republican opponents supporters’ decide to hurl #racist, #anti-immigrant, #Hinduphobic, or otherwise disgusting insults at my family, faith community, colleagues, and me – that crosses a line,” he wrote. He also accused former President Donald Trump and “today’s extremist Republican party” of inciting such rhetoric.

I can’t even.

Perhaps most galling of all, Patel used the photo of an actual person and his family, reportedly without his knowledge or consent. This is dangerous beyond words.

The Fort Bend Star reports:

Taral Patel, the Democratic candidate in the upcoming election for Fort Bend County Precinct 3 Commissioner and a former chief of staff to County Judge KP George, is accused by law enforcement authorities of creating a fake Fakebook account, using the photograph of another Fort Bend County resident, in order to post false, racist messages about himself and others related to the campaign.

Patel, 30, is also accused of creating an email account under another false identity to send fake messages about Andy Meyers, the Republican incumbent Precinct 3 Commissioner, and Abrahim Javed, one of four other Democratic candidates in the March primary. Patel scored a slim majority in the race and is slated to run against Meyers in November.

Patel was arrested by Texas Rangers at his Sugar Land residence Wednesday, according to the Fort Bend County District Attorney’s Office. The formal charges are online impersonation, a third-degree felony, and misrepresentation of identity, a Class A misdemeanor. After being booked in the Fort Bend County Jail, he is free after posting two bail bonds totaling $22,500. An initial court date is set for July 22 in the 240th District Court.

People, obviously have thoughts, but I am most appalled at the holier than thou attitude this completely evil human being pretended in the face of racist attacks he, himself, perpetrated. I mean, really, is there much that is lower than that? Even Jussie just wanted to be famous. He didn’t seek sainthood for his imaginary victimhood.

A Democrat is accused of hate videos.

Yes, but were they cheap hate videos?

Pretty bad copying a stupid black scam, and winning the same prize.

      AF_Chief_Master_Sgt in reply to JohnSmith100. | June 18, 2024 at 10:17 pm

He was too stupid to think of another scam, so he up’s his game by copying someone smarter than him – Juicy Smo.

      Which ain’t sayin’ much.

Perhaps now that he has a felony arrest, he can open a 7-11 or a Dunkin DigNuts. Joe Biden can give him some info.

Probably cheap but again it seems the demand for hate crimes exceeds the supply so here we go.

    “”were they cheap hate videos?””

Maybe they were in the beginning. They might get pretty expensive before it’s over – but of course he can use his campaign funds to pay any fines and attorney fees, assuming he has any.

No mercy, TX. None. Hit him with as many charges as possible and go for the max on every one of them.

So much racist hate all around us that he couldn’t find any to buy at the store. He was forced to engage in DIY.

No way that anyone would create a problem, blame others for the problem, then seek to invoke victim status when questioned about the problem they created, their role in creating it or the blame they tried to deflect.(S)

People who buy into lefty ideology do this sort of thing on a routine basis. It is almost as reflexive as breathing for them. Accountability is kryptonite to them.

Why use the photo of an innocent citizen? If all he needed was an image of a repulsive racist, there must be plenty of stock footage of democrat politicians out there, and more than a few media personalities would seem to fit the bill also.

To maximize the damage and so it takes more work to debunk the claim than simply showing that the person accused does not exist.

If he fakes hate, might he also fake love? I bet he fakes his orgasms.

destroycommunism | June 18, 2024 at 4:52 pm

Lefty msm reports ( yahoo and no doubt others)

had a picture of a white guy under the heading of faking race hoax

This is a story of truly evil actions. To use the name and likeness of a real person to lay a false crime at their doorstep. It is just a random person. Even Jessie Smollett wasn’t on this level.

destroycommunism | June 18, 2024 at 5:42 pm

patel was only following the lead of the dnc as they are doing the exact same thing to trump

I (almost) have no words.
Well, it’s good you had some, or that would have been a really short post.

and former Biden appointee
Well, well, isn’t that a surprise! Not really.

Offhand, I can’t recall ever hearing about a centrist, conservative or independent perpetrating one of these hoaxes. It’s always leftists…

I was raped by the 2028 Democratic Party Presidential nominee. It happened in 1984.

I’ll provide more details of the actual date and time, and location once I have more information.

Believe all victims! Anyone who doesn’t automatically accept as Gospel every allegation despite the lack of evidence is a horrible person who should be shunned and driven out of their career, their family and their community.

That’s how the new rule framework the wokiesta leftist feminists created is used ….or is it only applied based on political and ideological beliefs and whether we like or dislike a person?

McGehee 🇺🇲 FJB | June 18, 2024 at 8:45 pm

Not an honest bone in the entire Democratic Party.

The demand for racial hate crimes (against minorities) far exceeds the supply.

Meanwhile, actual racial hate crimes against whites, asians and jewish people are ubiquitous. Won’t see them in any official stats, of course, for the simple reason that none are ever investigated, or prosecuted, for what they are.

Victor Immature | June 19, 2024 at 5:53 am

He probably banked on the leftwaffe taking care of him rather than denouncing this. They’ll say, to quote Dan Rather, “fake but accurate”.

A couple of months ago there was the guy who created a racist screed in his boss’ voice using AI. And the the triple-oppressed Jean-Pierre calls real video fake. We’re heading to a weird, absurdist future.

He should be banned forever from running for public office or being in any job supported by taxpayer dollars.

The vile Dhimmi-crats are evil and beneath contempt.

Fomenting racial agitation and resentment and contriving dishonest propaganda narratives of racial grievance and agitation in perpetuity, no matter how destructive and corrosive to American society at-large, is their stock-in-trade.

guyjones in reply to guyjones. | June 19, 2024 at 11:25 am

And, beyond the crass and self-serving political motivations undergirding these “racism” hoaxes, lies the Dhimmi-crats’ innate and malignant narcissism. Claiming to be a victim of alleged racism is powerful currency, in Dhimmi-crat circles. So much so, that even the exceptionally privileged and powerful First Lady, Michelle Obama, was caught in a brazen lie contemptibly fabricating a tale of experiencing allegedly racist treatment by an elderly shopper who clearly hadn’t recognized her, and had innocuously asked Obama for help reaching an item situated on a high shelf, during Obama’s photo op stunt visit to a Target store in Virginia, to mingle with the plebes and cosplay as an alleged working class mom.

Surprise surprise.

“Patel’s campaign website says he previously worked for the Department of Justice’s Criminal Division in the Public Integrity Section and was appointed by President Biden to serve in the Office of White House Liaison…”

Public Integrity division of Biden’s DoJ? Yeah, that fits.

Pathetic Patel:

“[W]hen my Republican opponents supporters’ decide to hurl #racist, #anti-immigrant, #Hinduphobic, or otherwise disgusting insults at my family, faith community, colleagues, and me – that crosses a line,” he wrote.

Which party affiliation do the two South-Indian Americans elected as governors of southern states have? Rebpublican.Bobby Jindal (R) of Louisiana (2008-2016) and Nikki Haleyof South Carolina (2011-2017)

The only way to stop false accusations of racism is to heavily punish those who do the false accusations. Colleges and universities have made the mistake of not punishing false accusers. I hope that he will be convicted of felonies and serve jail time.
