To be fair, the right has its clickbait-angry base now too.
It used to be that the news sold soap opera on the left, and the right was bemused and mocked that left, say like Buckley in National Review. Soap opera vs can you believe what the left just said, were the two sides. One side angry, one side amused.
Nowadays the right engages in soap opera as well and both sides are angry.
Old Serpent Head (Carville) is both a symbol and the cause of many of our country’s problems. He bends and plays with truth to advantage his ideas, and to our chagrin he’s been effective.
Carville is desperately trying to remain relevant. He is a has-been. The problem is that most of the Democrat base that follows him is as senile as he is or has passed away. Looking at all the media-driven polls, the economy is polling as the #1 issue among both registered and likely voters at around 80%.
Dear Jim: Do you recall saying these words, “It’s the economy stupid?”
Imagine if this country didn’t have to suffer the democrat imposed mail in ballot fraud during elections. How much better off would the country, the world be now? It almost makes one want to cry.

To be honest, the Democrat Party, which is totally subservient to those farther Left, IS its lunatic base.
While the GOPe is basically a tamer version of the Democrats, you can see one difference. A number of times there have been groups of Republicans who have tried to stand up to the GOPe and make them keep their word about supporting the Constitution. TEA Party, etc.
They were a sizeable fraction and at least they tried, over the opposition of the entire Republican Party. Donald Trump is about the only reason there is a base for the Republican Party anymore.
In the Democrats, you see neither movements nor individuals who stand up against the politically correct Party Line of the moment. To do so is instant political death. And, considering the recent “Peoples Tribunals” at GWU by Hamas/Antifa calling for the execution of GWU’s administration by names; if the Left takes power the deaths may be more than political. A lot of Democrats, especially younger ones, want to enlist in the KGB.
Democrats will neither speak out against nor do anything against this insanity. Nor will they leave the Party and stop voting for anyone/thing the Party decrees.
