New York City is mayhem this evening, with hundreds (at least) of anti-American Pro-Hamas rioters breaking down barricades and assaulting people. Some videos below reflecting life in an American city run by Democrats.

But the video that jumped out at me, posted by a Fox News reporter, is of three Kaffiyeh-clad young women taunting the NYPD, ‘Oink oink, piggy piggy. We will make your lives shitty’. That’s a reference to the increasing Antifah-style tactic used at these protests of threatening to doxx police.

(If video disappears, click here)

Reminds me of when Palestinian rioters at Ferguson in 2014 chanted “Pigs in a blanket, fry’em like bacon”. See Rep. Cori Bush Praises St. Louis “Palestinian” Activist Infamous for “Pigs In A Blanket, Fry ‘Em Like Bacon” Chant.

American flags were a favorite target

Including burning one while desecrating a war memorial.

I live in the FL Panhandle.
I really wish these pukes would come down here and try that.
NYC is getting exactly what they voted for.

I’m in the panhandle as well.

Imagine some punks in keffiyehs trying to pull down an American flag, vandalize veteran’s memorials, or threaten ANY of our neighbors..

    It would only happen once.

When I was a kid I walked by a VW van parked at a gas station near Crestview. I happened to glance inside and see M-16s, an M-14, an M-6o, heaps of loaded magazines, and what looked like zillions of belted rounds of ammo. The bearded guy in cammies sitting among them smiled at me and winked… and I just walked away like I didn’t see a thing. It’s Florida dude.

Note: the jungle phase of Ranger school which I later became intimately familiar with was located just south of there. These guys were probably opfor training troops stopping off to restock their beer,

You’ve got a lot of useful swamp out there for them to disappear in. In NYC there’s a camera in every doorbell and probably every other lapel at an event like that.

You have to go hands-off and follow EVERY rule. Kudos to the cops for doing that and still keeping it real. These demonstrations have not gone well and everyone just hates these disruptors more and more.

Hold on there, G.G.! That’s too broad a brush.

In the small Central Oregon city in which I live (in cowboy country) during the 2020 Floyd “disturbances,” a bunch of outside folks decided they’d come cause a ruckus. Local gents appeared downtown fully armed and stood outside downtown businesses to protect them.

A couple of local lads arrived on horseback. An outsider protester thought it would be a good idea to cold-cock one of the horses. Whereupon the lads, armed with a riata, lassoed the fellow, hog-tied him, and left him in the street.

      The protest dissolved shortly thereafter.

NY State Gov Kathy Hochul has appropriated not a single penny to pay for NYC’s costs of dealing with the migrants, and has not approved resettling them out of NYC to ease the crowding there. And NYC isn’t just taking them in because of wokeness, but they labor under a consent decree or settlement from I think the 1950’s requiring them to “care for” every human meatsack who appears within the city.

Taxpayers outside the city limits have so far not been bailed in. It’s a sort of miracle.

In fact, my new suggested dispersal method for protesters is going to be to roast a pig, collect the melted fat drippings and douse protesters in it.

I suspect that the Met attendees are politically pretty close to the anti-American rioters. It’s too bad that the rioters weren’t able to make it a big party.

The ones who are committing crimes, absolutely. Deport them and make them ineligible ever to be admitted again.

But those who are merely expressing their evil natures are protected by the first amendment, and can’t be deported for what they say. People who are outside the USA and applying for admission can be denied for what they have said outside the USA; but people who are already here can’t be penalized for what they say while here.

That is not true. The law is very clear on this; nobody may be penalized for exercising a constitutional right. Visas may be canceled for any reason permitted by law, but not for an unconstitutional one.

In the same way, although government grants are not an entitlement, the government may not deny or withdraw a grant because the recipient exercised a constitutional right.

What “felony intrusion”?!!! What the actual f*ck do you think you’re talking about? People on foreign visas are by definition here legally, and have committed no crime whatsoever.

However, even people who are here illegally, and can therefore be deported when discovered, cannot be penalized for whatever they have said while here. If they would not have been deported but for their speech, then they can’t be deported.

As s/he well knows, we are not talking about people who have done any of those things. And the law is very clear that this would be unconstitutional.

Especially with temporary visas, like student visas or H-3 visas, the Immigration authorities have virtually absolute discretion to modify it—up through and including terminating it and deporting the holder.

Actually if the “student” is exercising free speech in a camp that violates school policy they can be expelled. Then they are no longer a student and their student visa is no longer valid. So if some of the university administrators and presidents had balls we could get rid of a lot of them. I bet breaking into Hamilton Hall and occupying it violates some code of conduct.

Not true. Under a student visa they can be deported for simply being suspended from school. Or if they are considered a threat to public safety.

They are guests here. If they choose to act out they can be told to leave.

You’re confusing permanent visas with temporary visas. The temporary visa holder is a guest and is much more vulnerable to deportation than you think. I had a rather egotistical business executive who, against my advice, when to the local immigration office to extend his H-3 visa. Somehow he offended a clerk and we had to send an immigration attorney there to save the uppity exec from instantaneous deportation.

No, I am not confusing anything. Your client was not threatened for exercising a constitutional right. Had he been, he would have had a slam-dunk case, and could even have sued the clerk personally and overcome his qualified immunity, because the right that would have been violated is clearly established.

You have apparently fallen for the terrorists’ reasoning that anything done while chanting political slogans is legal because political slogans are protected speech.

No one would care if it were pro-Pali speech alone but from the very first moment these “protests” have become bullying mobs. If someone participates in a bullying mob, they share in the criminal culpability of the mob.

When the order comes to disperse, failure to do so becomes a crime. Pretty straightforward. They are all criminals. at that point.

And surely you understand that “protests”, even peaceful and well-intentioned ones, are effective only because the power and destructiveness of the mob lies behind them.

This entire discussion is about oldtwentysix’s proposal that “Those identified on foreign visas should lose the privilege of being here”, and my response that those who are committing crimes should certainly be deported, “but those who are merely expressing their evil natures are protected by the first amendment, and can’t be deported for what they say”.

especially student visas. They’re here to be students, and certainly not to participate in our political process. Also, not to seek off-campus employment during school or after graduation, but to return home — a rule that we ought to enforce.

If they’re good enough to be in the running for an O-visa (significant figure in their field) we should try to keep them. That’s almost none of the students even very good ones.

I’ll say again — any person who thinks these fascistic antics and behavior are about allegedly legitimate grievances pertaining to the ancient Roman/KGB contrivance of “Palestine,” or, the well-being of Arab Muslim Fakestinian invaders from Arabia, is a fool.

This is about genocidal Islamofascists’ unabashed Jew-hate; Muslims’ desire to see a middle east that is completely emptied of Jews and Christians who were living in the area for millennia before the wretched ideology of “Submission’s” founding; and, the fascistic and bullying expression of Muslim and Islamic supremacism.

It seems to me that “back in the day” the NYPD would grab up a few of the nastier little punks, take them down by the river, and give them a “tune-up” before taking them to jail.
If a few of these Antifa morons happen to suffer a fractured skull, well, that’s the price you pay for being an a-hole.

There should ALWAYS be a price for being a sphincter.

    Served fresh.

I’ve heard it described as wall-to-wall counseling.

These noisy, obnoxious crowds need to be dropped off at a country bar in rural north Alabama (say Sand Mountain) some Saturday night around midnight. It should be fun to watch. Bubba and Earl, along with their friends, will take care of things.

this is why diaperboyjoe is weaning out the good people in the military

and local pd are doing the same

if you think your city ( especially if larger than 100k population) is pro american take a look and see what efforts are being made to accommodate

dei…..if none exist ..you are still good to go

its one thing to treat different people with mutual respect

its another to take away rights from one so that others may feel good/better about their agenda

but……..

These protesters are such little geniuses with their middle school slogans and complete lack historical perspective.

I am consistently struck by the fact that the leaders of these protests—and most of their followers shown in photographs—are women. Aside from specifically feminist protest marches, I have never seen this before, certainly not to such an extent. Moreover, it is the women who appear to be shouting the most radical cries and bearing the most radical signs. Is it that female students (and professors) have become more radical than their male counterparts in these various leftist organizations? Or is it that they are now less afraid of the consequences than males?

All over the world Islam is creating chaos. The Armenians kicked out of Azerbaijan, killing Copts in Egypt and elsewhere. They are waging a cultural war against USA by forcing schools, govt, etc. to pass laws or change practices to accommodate their religious dogma. Thereby awarding Islam a protected and separate status in our culture. “The Silent Jihad” by Robert Spencer explains this extensively. Book is about 15 yrs old and a lot of what author predicts has come true.

Arrest, try, convict and deprort all who can be deported-but more importantly follow the money who pays these two legged animals

During my enlistment with the National Guard threats were met with a rifle butt to the head. By and large a bloodied head eliminated the threat and restored order.
