Netanyahu Signals Defiance of Biden Threats Over Rafah, as IDF Controls Eastern Sectors of City

Netanyahu to Biden: “If Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone.”

A day after President Joe Biden threatened to cut off weapons supply if Israel pressed ahead with the military operation against the last remaining Hamas stronghold of Rahaf, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has taken control of the eastern part of the terrorist-controlled city.

In an apparent move of defiance, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday posted a recent speech on Twitter/X, declaring that “If Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone.”

President Biden, on Wednesday, warned that if Israel presses ahead with the operation, the administration will not supply “the weapons that have been used historically to deal with Rafah, to deal with the cities.”

“We’re not going to supply the weapons and the artillery shells used,” the president said in an interview with CNN.

The Israeli broadcaster Arutz Sheva reported Prime Minister Netanyahu’s defiant response:

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu responded on Thursday to US President Joe Biden’s threats by sharing a video of an address he had made several days earlier to social media.

In the address that Netanyahu shared, which he made on Sunday at the ceremony marking Holocaust Remembrance Day at Yad Vashem, the Prime Minister stated: “Eighty years ago, in the Holocaust, the Jewish people were totally defenseless against those who sought our destruction. No nation came to our aid.

“Today, we again confront enemies bent on our destruction.”

Netanyahu continued: “I say to the leaders of the world, no amount of pressure, no decision by any international forum, will stop Israel from defending itself.”

He concluded by pledging: “As the Prime Minister of Israel – the one and only Jewish state – I pledge here today from Jerusalem on this Holocaust Remembrance Day: If Israel is forced to stand alone, Israel will stand alone. But we know we are not alone because countless decent people around the world support our just cause. And I say to you, we will defeat our genocidal enemies. Never again is now!”

Meanwhile. the Israeli military is advancing against Hamas’s terrorist buildup in Rafah. After launching the offensive on Monday, the troops were now “in control of eastern neighborhoods of Rafah,” the TV channel i24NEWS confirmed Thursday.

The military “reiterated that the operation remains “limited and targeted,” showcasing footage of ground maneuvers as its forces occupy the eastern neighborhoods of the city,” the TV channel reported. “Israeli troops have begun extensive searches for terrorist tunnels and weapons in these areas.”

The Israeli military was destroying Hamas’s fighting capabilities and terrorist infrastructure. “Amid the IDF’s ongoing operation in the eastern part of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, some 50 gunmen have been killed by troops, according to the latest estimates by the military,” The Times of Israel reported Thursday. “Another 10 tunnel shafts have been found, and they are being prepared for demolition.”

The news website described the IDF’s push into Rafah as a limited operation, focused only on the eastern part of the city. “The IDF currently does not plan to expand the evacuation order to other areas of Rafah, as the ongoing operation remains relatively limited in scope amid hostage negotiations with Hamas,” The Times of Israel added.

Central Gaza: IDF deploys ground troops, hits Hamas terror targets

The Israeli military was also hitting Hamas targets elsewhere in Gaza, launching an operation in the central part of the Hamas-infested enclave.

“IDF troops began an operation against terrorist infrastructure and operatives in the area of Zeitoun in central Gaza,” the military said in a press release Thursday morning. “The operation began with a series of intelligence-based aerial strikes on approximately 25 terror targets, including military structures, terror tunnels, observation posts, sniper posts, and additional terror infrastructure.”

After a large-scale Israeli withdrawal from Gaza in early April amid mounting pressure from the Biden White House to scale down the military operation, the boots were back on the ground in central Gaza. “IDF ground troops are currently operating to secure the area of Zeitoun,” the military disclosed in the press release.

Crooked 10% Joe and his handlers just learned the hard way not to piss into the wind.

In his CNN interview, Joe must have forgotten to mention that when he was in middle school, all of his 8th-grade teachers wanted to follow in Riley’s footsteps and they too were drafted by the Green Bay Packers.

Can you imagine how powerful the hallucinogens they have this guy on?

Everybody is supposed to be intimidated by “Dark Brandon” but near as I can tell nobody is.

He’s a complete pussy in charge of nothing and intimidating nobody. The way you can tell is the fact that his dogs lash out at everybody and everything… they think they need to protect him because he’s such a punk ass bitch.

Dogs are like children, in that if they receive a proper upbringing, most turn out well The problem with Jill and Joe is that the raised both poorly. Look at Thad Jarvis and JR.

As a breeder, my take is that all his dogs are aggressive because no one else in his family asserts any alphahood. Seen it over and over.

Hell, look at his miserable son Hunter. An utter degenerate. If Hunter wasn’t playing bagman for his powerful father he’d be a homeless addict holding a sign at an intersection.

Hopefully AG Flynn will use enhanced interrogation on the Kenyan fanook….

Good.

“countless DECENT people around the world support our just cause…”

Nice face slap against Biden, Blinken, Austin, etc.

Biden is doing which side is more victimized, and Israel is doing which side is more moral.

And you’re a boring, pretentious, pseudo-intellectual one-trick pony, so hey you’ve got that going for you, I’m sure you’ll offer some more copy and paste wisdom from your Sociology 101 syllabus any minute now.

It is sad testimony indeed when you find yourself in perfect agreement with a leader of a foreign nation in opposition to the elected leader of your own.

Bibi is perfectly justified in chasing every member of Hamas to the four corners of the globe and killing them dead.

That Joe Biden would throw any shade at Hamas is every bit as disgusting as anything a Holocaust denier spews.

We’ll never see Stupid Joe judged for his sins. We can only pray that God shows him no mercy.

Ty rhhardin.. I agree 1000% about Israel.. bless and keep them.. but, Biden is doing whatever he is told to do.. I think it is more about the next election than anything else. He is an avi… and the world knows it.

If FJB is in your corner, find another corner.

AF_Chief_Master_Sgt | May 9, 2024 at 1:54 pm

Bibi to Biden. “GFY. I don’t need your stinking missiles. Shove them up your hand puppet hole.”

Israel should recall their Ambassador to the US and expel the US Ambassador out of Israel

Since this is political, maybe Israel already has what it needs to finish the job. The sudden back and forth may just be for media and for the Hamas backers across our nation.

Stuytown in reply to Whitewall. | May 9, 2024 at 2:57 pm

Probably not. Israel is preparing for simultaneous wars with Hezbollah and Iran. War with Hezbollah would make the current war with Hamas look like child’s play. So Israel needs needs weapons.

WTPuck in reply to Stuytown. | May 9, 2024 at 4:14 pm

Bibi know Biden. He’s probably been securing what he needs since Oct. 7 from other sources.

Ghostrider in reply to WTPuck. | May 9, 2024 at 4:30 pm

I think you’re right. Biden said he put a pause on sending weapons, which he made for political purposes. Thinking he can buy some votes in large Muslim-inhabited swing states. So, what if Bibi takes whatever cash the US gave him and buys the weapons Israel needs from war brokers, i.e., other Western nations?

The_Mew_Cat | May 9, 2024 at 2:30 pm

I don’t think any substantial weapons could be delivered in time for the ongoing operation anyway. This is all theater.

    TargaGTS in reply to The_Mew_Cat. | May 9, 2024 at 2:41 pm

There’s any doubt about that….with respect to Gaza But, the failure to deliver this ordnance could negatively impact Israel’s ability to repel and suppress any advance by Hezbollah into the northern part of Israel. DoD officials speaking on background the last couple days (who were certainly political appointees and not uniformed service members) made this very point to reporters.

Mark Cohen in reply to TargaGTS. | May 10, 2024 at 6:29 am

As one president said, never underestimate Joe’s ability to F things up.

They might force Israel into using tactical nuclear weapons.

The US is pretty good when it comes to logistics

JackinSilverSpring | May 9, 2024 at 2:41 pm

The lesson for Israel is make your own ammo. As the psalmist said in Ps. 146: Trust not in princes or in man born, for they cannot help.

BierceAmbrose in reply to JackinSilverSpring. | May 9, 2024 at 11:54 pm

The Israeli defense industries exist for exactly this.

This is not the first time arms have been withheld from Israel, when in a fight for their lives.

James Nault | May 9, 2024 at 2:44 pm

The IDF needs to take Rafah and destroy HAMAS ASAP.

I noticed that the favorite chant shouted by the street demonstrators is just about the land and doesn’t mention the people. I offer a small revision to clarify what’s been missing:

From the river to the sea
Hashem’s people will be free.
From the sea to the river
Adonai will live forever!

I am truly loving these Jews with balls! 😂😂

FJB an go fuck himself.

Steven Brizel | May 10, 2024 at 5:59 am

The IDF should level Rafah

Dear Jew haters,

1. Jews don’t march to the cattle cars anymore, instead, they fight. I know this makes you feel impotent, but too bad.

2. Proportionality is: harm and kill Jews, and the Jews will harm and kill you back, but good, such that you’ll never forget.

3. You and your Jew hating culture is pathetic. G-d will punish you.

Just do what you want Israel.. Biden will be gone soon. just make sure we all know he withheld AID and let the Media know to…. The Dems now say Withholding Aid is a Impeachable Offense
