San Francisco has truly been having an awful week.
First, its S&P rating is being jeopardized because of its draconian covid response.
Then, Democratic Party loon and Senate hopeful Adam Schiff came to campaign.
Next, the city’s deterioration into a crime-ridden hellscape was confirmed when Schiff’s luggage was stolen from his parked car. Schiff was greet with “Welcome to California” by a dinner companion.

Adam Schiff was given a rude welcome to San Francisco on Thursday as he was reportedly a victim of a theft just hours before a ritzy campaign dinner.According to The San Francisco Chronicle, thieves broke into his car that was parked in a downtown parking garage and stole his bags. Without business clothes to wear, Schiff still proceeded to the event in shirt sleeves and a hiking vest, according to the Chronicle, with others dressed in suits.At the dinner, Schiff thanked attorney Joe Cotchett for supporting Schiff’s bid to replace the late Dianne Feinstein and represent California in the U.S. Senate.”I guess it’s ‘Welcome to San Francisco,’” joked Cotchett’s press agent Lee Houskeeper, who was at the dinner at Ristorante Rocca, located in Burlingame.
Now, I am as second-to-none in my loathing of the lying windbag. However, the light-hearted nature of the response minimizes the crime and attempts to deflect from the horrendous state of public safety and security within California.
I am not the only one who noticed, either.
As much as I detest Schiff, I would prefer he is not robbed. I simply want him voted out of office. The good news: Republican hopeful and baseball legend Steve Garvey is at least keeping pace with Schiff, in terms of fund-raising.
Returning to reports of the theft, it turns out Schiff proceeded with his evening as planned . . . minus the dress clothes he was going to wear.
Rep. Schiff reportedly appeared calm, telling the San Francisco Chronicle “yes, they took my bags, but I’m here to thank Joe.”Neither San Francisco police nor Rep. Schiff’s office immediately responded to a request for comment from The National Desk (TND) Friday.
This report would be incomplete without noting that Schiff’s support for the open borders free-for-all is likely a significant contributing factor to the theft he experienced. Crime tourism is thriving in California, thanks to the actions of Democrats in DC.
The Los Angeles Police Department has formed a task force to counter a rise in gangs from Latin America that have been targeting luxury homes in Southern California.In a notice last week, the LAPD said it “recognizes the increase in burglaries where homes in affluent neighborhoods are targeted.””I can tell you that we have a significant increase in burglaries from organized groups that are outside this country, that are coming into the country, and they are targeting high-end residents,” Chief Dominic Choi said.
However, upon reflection, perhaps a little humor is warranted.
