Anti-Israel Voters on the Left Could Inflict Real Damage to Biden in November

“In Wisconsin alone, nearly 48,000 voters cast an unrestricted ballot in the Democratic presidential primary, far surpassing campaign goals and significantly exceeding President Biden’s margin of victory over Trump in the 2020 general election”

Back in February, when the Michigan Democrat primary happened, even though Biden won, some people were raising concerns over the number of people who voted for ‘uncommitted’ over Biden’s stance on the Israel/Hamas conflict.

The left and a certain number of Muslim voters are not happy with how Biden is handling this issue, and they’re letting him know ahead of time that it might cost him their votes.

This week, a similar thing happened in the primary races for Wisconsin and other states.

FOX News reports:

Progressive activists take victory lap after tens of thousands of Democrats cast protest votes against Biden

President Biden’s campaign received a significant amount of “protest votes” in Tuesday night’s primaries, adding to the narrative that the campaign is having a difficult time uniting a fractured party base.

In the Wisconsin Democratic primary, 8.4% of voters selected the “uninstructed” option rather than vote for President Biden, which amounted to almost 48,000 votes. Additionally, 17,553 votes, 3.1%, were cast for Democratic Rep. Dean Phillips, who is no longer in the race.

In Connecticut, the vote total for “uncommitted” was 11.5%, just under 8,000 votes. In Rhode Island, 14.9% of voters were “uncommitted,” which totaled just under 4,000 votes…

Some of those activists in Wisconsin took a victory lap Wednesday after votes rolled in.

“In Wisconsin alone, nearly 48,000 voters cast an unrestricted ballot in the Democratic presidential primary, far surpassing campaign goals and significantly exceeding President Biden’s margin of victory over Trump in the 2020 general election,” the progressive activist group Our Revolution said in a press release.

Townhall has more on this:

On Wednesday, the Abandon Biden group sent out press releases declaring victory in Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Wisconsin. The press releases are similar enough, including when it comes to a statement from Abandon Biden Co-Chair Mongi Dhaouadi. “Our uncommitted vote is a message to the Democratic leadership in our state that genocide is a red line. The Democrats need to understand that insisting on a candidate that does not commit to the sanctity of life deserves nothing but our uncommitted vote,” said Dhaouadi.

In Rhode Island, 14.9 percent of voters in the Democratic Party went for “uncommitted,” while 11.6 percent did in Connecticut, and 8.3 percent selected “uninstructed delegate” in Wisconsin.

Abandon Biden also worked with the Political Engagement Committee of the Connecticut Palestine Solidarity Coalition, urging voters to select “uncommitted” in that state.

In the video below, CNN data analyst Harry Enten breaks down the numbers and suggests this is a serious problem for Biden.

Many of these voters will come home in November, but some will not, and this could seriously damage Biden.

I’m more interested in their post-election behavior. Either way will not be pretty.

Just imagine the scenarios – especially with a 269-269 tie and a closely divided Congress. Congress meets on Jan 3 and counts the EV on Jan 6. There may be numerous vacancies if a lot of wafer-thin House elections are still being contested, or if the coming H5N1 pandemic takes them out. Unless the House and Senate elect the President and VP quickly, I expect massive street forces to move in and try to stage a “color revolution”. They will have plenty of time to organize logistics, position provisions in advance in DC houses, and recruit over 25 million people to participate. I expect them to block all Potomac bridges with masses of burning stolen and junk vehicles and gas soaked tires, and even to collapse the bridges if they can get the fires burning hot enough. They will trap Congress in the Capitol by occupying all the streets so nothing can move, and Congress will have to elect the President and VP under a state of siege where they are trapped in the Capitol surrounded by the National Guard, but with no way in or out. The lame duck President will be in Delaware, and Trump will be in Rikers. It is hard to say what the Congress will do at this point, or even if they can enforce it.

0bama must be furious. He was sure he had the antisemite vote locked up for the Dems for years to come and now Joe’s chasing them away.

The only action of Biden’s that would actually appeal to the virulent Jewhaters on the left is bombing Israel.

It’s very interesting that with all the spy agencies in the US working diligently to overthrow Netanyahu, they have not been able to do it. The US bankrolled most of the Judicial protests last year but the Israeli people keep voting for him.

I’m sure that the White House planned for regime change in Israel before the US elections so Democrats wouldn’t face these issues.

I think one thing that really helps is the decidedly low-tech Israeli voting system. Even though it’s one of the most technologically advanced countries on the planet, its voting system is paper-only. How are those paper ballots counted? By hand. And, the process is recorded on video by a sanctioned inspector as well as personally viewed by official representatives of all 13 political parties. No mail-in voting, no drop-boxes and (I believe) there’s only absentee voting for people who are physically outside of the country. What about the soldiers in Gaza? Well, in the regional and municipal elections that were scheduled for late last year (and postponed for obvious reason) and finally held in in February, IDF created makeshift polling stations IN GAZA. Even those who were deployed and actively fighting couldn’t vote by absentee ballot.

Interesting points. I’d like to think that we could scale this up from a nation of ~10 million to one of ~335 million. I’d add a) photo ID at the polls b) purple stain for pinkie fingers after voting and c) rigorous voter roll review and purging prior to each election.

      But that’s just me.

Milhouse in reply to TargaGTS. | April 5, 2024 at 1:57 am

and (I believe) there’s only absentee voting for people who are physically outside of the country.

Not even those. Only diplomats can vote outside the country, and even they don’t use postal votes, they set up a ballot box at the embassy or consulate and each person has his ID checked and deposits his paper ballot in the box, just as happens in Israel itself.

Political parties or their supporters often offer Israelis abroad subsidized tickets to come home and vote.

I don’t think all the uncommitted votes are due to Israel by any means. Yes some are just dumb anti-semitic democrats but I also thinka some are Jewish people who are angry with him for appeasing the anti-semitic voters, and some just think Biden has dementia. My RI family were some of those uncommitted voters and they just think Biden is a bad candidate and want him out. This reminds me of Hillary Clinton were the democratic party refused to look in the mirror and realize that she was just an unlikeable candidate that they rammed down the throats of the electorate. I think many Democrat voters are tired of being told who will be their candidate versus being allowed to select that candidate themselves.

stevewhitemd in reply to schmuul. | April 4, 2024 at 9:29 am

It’s interesting that the Democrats continue to miss what the public, even their own voters are saying to them. An unpopular incumbent is either unhorsed early in the primaries (e.g., LBJ), or limps to the general election and loses (e.g., GHWB). No amount of posturing and trickery corrects that. There are legitimate concerns about Mr. Biden given his advanced age, advancing dementia, and policies that to date haven’t worked. Suppressing those concerns simply allows them to explode on election day. One does wonder whether the Democrats think they can bypass that, steal the election, and install the man again in January.

“I think many Democrat voters are tired of being told who will be their candidate versus being allowed to select that candidate themselves.”

Isn’t it precious how many people genuinely yearn to be ruled by a tyrant of their own choice?

Blacks and Jews seem particularly hesitant to ween themselves off the Democrat plantation/kibbutz.

MajorWood in reply to henrybowman. | April 4, 2024 at 1:47 pm

I tell Dems that the first stolen election was South Carolina in 2020, and it was their vote which was cancelled out. They seem to believe that only people on the right suffer from fraud. The new purpose of polls is to make people think that the fraud is legitimate before it even happens.

Louis K. Bonham | April 4, 2024 at 9:10 am

That’s the key. The Islamic block isn’t happy with Biden but will crawl over broken glass to vote against Trump. But the traditional Democrat Jewish pro-Israel block faces a clear choice: a solid supporter of Israel or someone constantly trying to undermine its efforts to take out Hamas.

Those voters might not be able to bring themselves to vote for Trump . . . but they might stay home or cast a protest vote for RFK / Cornell West.

I don’t think they will crawl over anything to vote for Biden in a general election. They simply won’t vote. People who go out of their way to vote against Biden in a primary won’t turn around and vote for him in the general. Otherwise, in the end, they lose leverage within the party. Most of those “uninstructed” votes come from younger voters. They are not that calculating to reason, but “never Trump!” They won’t vote.

henrybowman in reply to Louis K. Bonham. | April 4, 2024 at 11:56 am

The Muslims are in a hard place. Their only win is to force Biden to yield to their jizya before the nominations. If he holds out, they’re stranded in “where else do you have to go?” territory, and they know it. The question is, does Biden know it?

    The_Mew_Cat in reply to Louis K. Bonham. | April 4, 2024 at 12:13 pm

Problem is – The Islamic voter bloc is critical in a couple of must-win swing states. The Jewish block is mostly in solid Blue states, and therefore has no impact on electoral college results. The Jews have a primary impact on donations, and the Democrats are doing fine in this department.

      Milhouse in reply to The_Mew_Cat. | April 5, 2024 at 2:01 am

Don’t forget Florida and Ohio. Particularly Ohio, which is still a swing state, with a significant Jewish population.

See I disagree Biden can’t win the anti semetic hate vote unless he does something extreme to Israel. These people are not appeased , they want blood not tough words or condemnations. Harris husband is a JINO and that doesn’t sit well with the coalition of Jew haters he’s trying to win over. If there one thing I understand it’s hate against Jews having been a victim of it myself and the only way to “win over” this crowd is for him to completely dump any Jews around him and go full anti semitic conspiracy theory. These people are nuts they don’t think Jewish people are human beings and no “tough on Israel” Stance will satisfy them. So all he’s going to do is give Trump some easy talking points and not satisfy his Democrat coalition of anti semites , while losing the Jewish vote.

He’ll buy them off with our tax dollars shortly before the election.

Good. Let the useful idiot, Dhimmi-crat cheerleaders and enablers of Muslim supremacism, Islamofascism and genocidal Islamic “holy war” vote for the CAIR/Hamas/ISIS/Hezb’allah ticket.

The Gentle Grizzly | April 4, 2024 at 11:29 am

When will the Democrats just take off the mask and run an openly Muslim candidate? And I don’t mean a Farrakhan disciple but an actual one like Ilhan Omer?

AF_Chief_Master_Sgt | April 4, 2024 at 11:53 am

“The Democrats need to understand that insisting on a candidate that does not commit to the sanctity of life deserves nothing but our uncommitted vote,” said Dhaouadi.”

Ummmm. Does “sanctity of life” include the unborn, or just the protection of Islamic fascists?

Asking for a friend.

Well, just as Black Lives Matter doesn’t apply to black unborn babies, the sanctity of life here also doesn’t apply to unborn babies.

MajorWood in reply to mailman. | April 4, 2024 at 1:51 pm

BLM doesn’t matter either to the 90% of blacks who are murdered by other blacks, with a significant increase in that number following the defund the po po movement, which was sold as a way to save black lives from racist whitey po po. At this point we should stop calling them unintended consequences.

It doesn’t even include most of the born. Only (mostly fictitious) innocent civilian “Palestinians”.

I’m sure there will be major developments in this war before the election. It is likely to expand to additional fronts, and the Deep State is openly trying to force a “color revolution” in Israel. And there could be developments here as well. If Kamala Harris becomes President before the election, she is likely to tilt policy more toward the Palestinians, and she is likely to do better than Biden against Trump because she lacks his senility and corruption baggage.. I am expecting a very close contest, with a 269-269 tie the most likely outcome.

The above is why I think that RFK Jr. is so dangerous to Biden. He would arguably be a better Democratic President than Biden, and has huge name recognition. If he gets on all 50 ballots, I doubt Biden can win, even with the ballot harvesting – which, by the way, is a margin for Biden not counted in any current polls. I do not rule out the possibility that if RFK gets on all ballots, September polls show Trump with 40%, Biden 35%, RFK 20%, undecided 5%. We then could have another Ross Perot situation, which IMO elected Clinton over GHWB.

Evil Otto in reply to jb4. | April 5, 2024 at 5:56 am

“He would arguably be a better Democratic President than Biden”

Well, it depends on the definition of Democrat. If you mean a puppet of elites and the far left, pushing policies that damage the country and destroying the economy, then Biden is a far better Democrat than RFK.

The headline should be:

“Pro-Hamas Voters on the Left Could Inflict Real Damage to Biden in November”

as an American with 100% non jewish German heritage

I’m appalled by the lack of support for our brothers in Israel

This entire article is grade A leftist bs aimed at influencing Biden to turn more on Israel and more towards Hamas being repackaged as news against Biden

1. So you are saying anti-Israel voters will knowingly help Donald J Trump win the White House?

Is this the same Donald J Trump who had among the policies I loved being the most pro-Israel president since Harry Truman? The one who used American influence to end Arab hostilities towards Israel? The same one who tightened security agreements with Israel? The same one who helped fund the American war machine with aid to Israel spent 100% on American arms purchases? Or is it the Donald Trump who used the American Veto to make it impossible to pass anything anti-Israel through the UN?

May we skip to present day where Donald J Trump is so much more pro-Israel than Biden and where unlike Biden who bowed to anti-Israel Democrats Trump effectively told the Candace Owens/Tucker Carlsons F You I am backing Israel over Hamas?

Is it the same Donald Trump who is critical of mass immigration from Islamic third world countries that one?

Let me know if the Donald J Trump who was president is running or another man named Donald J Trump is running.

2. Democrats losing elections due to being pro-Israel flies in the face of ACTUAL ELECTIONS. Polls are not a substitute for winning elections. In actual elections Tom Suozzi won in New York despite the anti-Israel left trying their best to destroy him. Remember the attempts by the Jew hating left to shout him down? Them declaring him guilty of genocide?

3. Joe Biden has the hard left, he is losing ground with the WHITE WORKING CLASS. Is that anti-Israel?

4. Joe Biden did not win by Muslim votes he won by losing less of the white working class than any other Democrat in over a decade.

5. All of Joe Biden’s collapsing poll numbers are collapses from the middle.

6. Last I checked there is an election in Georgia. There is an election in PA. There is an election in AZ. There is an election in NV.

Muslims are not abandoning Biden for Trump, that is just hot air blown for the purpose of influencing Biden.

Donald Trump knows that, and has stood by Israel.

If our side wins it does not win because Hamas lovers put us into power, Trump knows that so should you.

henrybowman in reply to Danny. | April 4, 2024 at 9:16 pm

Ya clean done missed the barn, Kid Shelleen.
The Muslim threat isn’t Trump instead of Biden, it’s some other Democrat instead of Biden. That’s why it all turns to smoke after the D convention. If Biden emerges the nominee, Muslims have nothing but nose-clothespins.

Danny in reply to henrybowman. | April 4, 2024 at 11:38 pm

Biden has already wrapped up the nomination there is no further choice for Muslims between Trump or Biden.

Again unless there is a different man named Donald J Trump running for office than the man who used to be president Muslims have no power.

Pro-Israel voters on the other hand are actually a majority of the population and many will abandon Biden over Israel (especially Jewish ones).

henrybowman in reply to Danny. | April 5, 2024 at 10:14 am

“Biden has already wrapped up the nomination”

JFK had already wrapped up an election. Never underestimate incentivized Democrats.
