University of California Medical Prof Calls for Investigation of ‘Zionist Doctors’

“The presence of Zionism in US medicine should be examined as a structural impediment to health equity”

It’s amazing how this issue has brought out the crazy in some people.

National Review reported:

University of California Medical Prof Defends ‘Zionist Doctors’ Conspiracy, Calls for Investigation

Rupa Marya, a professor of medicine at the University of California, San Francisco, argued in a recent social-media post that the presence of “Zionists” in U.S. health care may be harming patients and should therefore be investigated.

Marya’s comments came in response to a post from “anti-racist” activist and former Democratic congressional candidate Saira Rao.

“Realizing how many American doctors and nurses are Zionists and genuinely terrified for Palestinian, Arab, Muslim, South Asian and Black patients — even more than usual. And usually it’s bad,” Rao wrote in a New Year’s Day post on X.

The comments were widely condemned as antisemitic, even by vocal advocates of the Palestinian people.

“It is a lie. Stop that nonsense against [the] health system. its [sic] racist,” Ahmed Tibi, an Arab-Israeli Knesset member, responded on X.

Mehdi Hasan, an MSNBC contributor and frequent critic of Israeli policies, denounced the anti-racist organizer for flirting with the boundary of antisemitism. “I’ve long argued that antizionism shouldn’t be equated with antisemitism but, sorry, these kind of ‘antizionists’ takes are nothing but antisemitic,” Hasan wrote on X in early January. “You can’t just make sweeping bigoted remarks about millions of Jewish doctors & nurses and hide behind ‘Zionists.’ It’s just wrong.”

However, Marya rushed to Rao’s defense, arguing that her concern about the malign influence of Zionist doctors was in fact legitimate.

“The presence of Zionism in US medicine should be examined as a structural impediment to health equity,” Marya wrote on X. “Zionism is a supremacist; racist ideology and we see Zionist doctors justifying the genocide of Palestinians. How does their outlook/position impact priorities in US medicine?”

all a misdirection so no one actually investigates the “new breed” of lefty non qualified doctors

When the quote at hand is so flat-out outrageous, chances are good it’s yet another crazy chick.

Rupa Marya – Composer + Physician + Writer – Decolonizing Medicine
Rupa Marya is a decolonizing medicine expert, a Deep Medicine Circle founder and a co-founder of the Do No Harm Coalition. She is also a composer and the front-woman of Rupa and the April Fishes, a polyglot band that explores the root causes of health disparities and inflammatory disease through…

Hey Siri, play me a song about inequity and inflammation, something with a beat that I can hobble to.

Apparently Rao and Marya don’t understand how ethics work and ethical, religious people function. I’m betting that they and their friends and supporters would encourage injuring patients they differ with politically. It’s the only thing that makes sense of their silly claims. They just assume that everyone else is as unethical and immoral as those they support. They’re wrong. Nearly everyone in the world is a better, more ethical person than those Rao and Marya support. It would be hard not to be.

Seems like Marya needs to be investigated for Nazism. It’s truly terrifying to think that a medical person holds such views!

“Investigated” by whom? This is America. Nazism isn’t and can’t be a crime. Medical people, like anyone else, can hold whatever views they like. If she intends to actually treat patients, though, this information should follow her around and her potential patients should be have it so they can make an informed choice of doctors.

Anyone considering running an academic article on systemic racism by her?

Hopeful result be they see how ugly they are themselves for embracing her ideology take a step back and become more influenced by Galen than Goebbels?

Not every investigation is a government investigation.

I’m more concerned about all of the leftist doctors who refuse treatment if you don’t tow the left’s ideology–didn’t someone just come out with some kind of policy that you can be refused treatment if you ask for doctors, etc on the basis of some kind of discrimination? Like preferring a female doctor for gynecology? And let’s not forget all of the doctors and others who decided people who refused the vaccine weren’t worthy of treatment

Violation of professional ethics to question the capabilities and professionalism of other physicians without sound evidence and through proper channels, e.g. complaint through a state board of medicine. A false accusation is cause for termination of licensure. In this case, had I seen the post, I would have issued a complaint to her board and that would have required the board to respond. The post is public—and there’s no denying that.

“It is a lie. Stop that nonsense against [the] health system. its [sic] racist,” Ahmed Tibi, an Arab-Israeli Knesset member, responded on X.

Wow. Ahmed Tibi was one of Yasser Arafat’s closest advisers, ran for the Knesset with his endorsement and was seen as his personal representative there. If you’ve lost him …

Then again he is also a doctor, who studied medicine at a zionist university, so he has some personal investment in zionist medicine.

I am extremely happy with my Jewish cardiologist, just sayin.

One of the root causes of health disparities is not race but culture. If certain cultures do not model healthy behaviors, then their offspring will not grow up healthy. But the thing is, there is not nearly as much money in teaching healthy lifestyles as there is in grifting off of white and jewish hate mongering. It may come as a shock to people of other races and cultures that I have far better ways to spend my time than in “keeping them down.” Not sure why they get so upset when I point out that the source of their problems is easily found in a mirror, and doubly so if the local leaders of their culture are standing behind them.

This is reminiscent of how the Nazis moved immediately to remove Jewish doctors from the profession after Hitler took power in 1933. Similarly, university medical schools were only too happy to remove their Jewish faculty. Many were glad to eliminate what they felt was Jewish competition in the field due to the large number of Jewish doctors in Germany. University rectors during that era were disproportionally from medical departments.
