Newsom Supporters’ Ad Claims TN Wants to Hold Women Seeking Out of State Abortions ‘Hostage’

Newsom Supporters’ Ad Claims TN Wants to Hold Women Seeking Out of State Abortions ‘Hostage’

Newsom’s obsession with other states is beyond disturbing. It shows he doesn’t care about his own state and is only aiming for a higher office.

Doesn’t California Gov. Gavin Newsom have better things to do than target other states on anything? You know, like all the crime plaguing the major cities and San Diego becoming the epicenter of the border crisis?

Nope. Newsom, like every other Democrat, has to show off his love for abortion!

Newsom’s super PAC released an ad against a Tennessee bill depicting the state holding women hostage so they cannot travel to get an abortion.

The ad, titled ‘Hostage,’ is appalling and full of lies. Apparently, Tennessee wants to charge young women who leave the state and get an abortion.

The truth, which is something pro-abortion people hate, is far from what is shown in the ad.

The bill protects women. It literally protects women and does NOT target the biological mother at all.

Read this carefully because Newsom and his cronies don’t want you to know that the bill protects women and parental rights:

(a) An adult commits the offense of abortion trafficking of a minor if the adult recruits, harbors, or transports a pregnant unemancipated minor within this state for the purpose of:

(1) Concealing an act that would constitute a criminal abortion under § 39-15-213 from the parents or guardian of the pregnant unemancipated minor;
(2) Procuring an act that would constitute a criminal abortion under § 39- 15-213 for the pregnant unemancipated minor, regardless of where the abortion is to be procured; or
(3) Obtaining an abortion-inducing drug for the pregnant unemancipated minor for the purpose of an act that would constitute a criminal abortion under § 39-15-213, regardless of where the abortion-inducing drug is obtained.

My mother and father would have smacked you if you gave me any medicine without her permission, let alone an abortion.

The section does not apply to the parents or legal guardians.

The offender would face a Class C felony.

ALSO. Only the offender, not the pregnant minor, would “be held liable in a civil action for the wrongful death of an unborn child that was aborted.”

The biological mother may sue on behalf of the unborn baby. The biological father can also sue unless rape or incest caused the pregnancy.

Newsom has a great ability to become even more of a slimeball every passing day. At least, that’s one thing he achieves. Such a gross man.

Newsom debuted the ad on Meet the Press on Sunday:

Newsom said, “They are not only restricting the rights of self-determination to bear a child for a young woman, and they’re determining their fate as it relates their future in life by saying they can’t even travel and they are modeled after a version that passed in Idaho is now being proposed in Tennessee and Oklahoma and Mississippi. The AG himself of Alabama wants to criminalize travel not just for children but for adults seeking reproductive care. That’s how serious this moment is, and we need to be more aggressive.”

He added, “I worry about the United States Supreme Court that, again, set the tone and tenor for the debate we’re having today. It’s not just a war on travel. It’s not just a war on reproductive health care. It’s also war on women who were broadly defined including, as we know, contraceptives.”

This former pro-abortion hates it when people claim that pro-life people are waging a war on women with their fight against abortion.

It’s precious because females are murdered in the womb way more than males. Weird how they don’t care about those females. But those females don’t pay taxes yet, so they don’t matter.

The cause of civil action thing sounds like Texas’s evasion, using citizens to restrict providers where the state can’t do it directly itself.

It’s what’s going to lose the Republicans the election, establishing anti-abortion as its brand.

It may not lose them the election but it will alienate a lot of voters.

I’m absolutely sure that abolitionists were told the same thing prior to the War Between The States.

Because the chattel slavery of humans, born or unborn, will always be a “brand” killer to those who want to claim ownership of those humans..

The problem is that women are the swing vote and they’ll swing against Republicans. On top of that I’d say that Republicans themselves are 50% in favor of abortion with say 15 week limits, let alone almost 100% of Democrats. So vote-wise it’s a 75% bad idea. The anti-abortion Republican wing plays the role of the super-woke left for the Democrats, roughly the spoilers.

Maybe all future elections will be won by fraud now, neither side being able of offer enough of what anybody wants.

“The problem is that women are the swing vote and they’ll swing against Republicans.”

Exactly so. A better message might be something like:

“A kid who’s pregnant and doesn’t want to be ought to get help from people who care about them, not folks making out on “services” they’re selling. We’re trying to keep the predators off kids like that, to give the kid and help time to find each other.”

Which incidentally lines up with the text of the law quoted. Pesky facts.

The Screaming D’s have managed to frame the issue as unlimited abortion on demand, or desperate, cornered kids forced into life-crushing consequences. The Feckless R’s let themselves get cast as callous.

The North outnumbered the South in population and federal control.

Ann Coulter recently (how surprised I was to hear her say this!)

I think you’re clearly right This – abortion is really hurting Republicans. I don’t think you can blame all Republicans for this. I’m glad it was overturned by the Supreme Court, I think. I’m a pro-life zealot, I think it was disgusting to call that a Constitutional right But it has been sent back to the states, that’s all we ever wanted, And guess what pro-lifers? We’re getting slaughtered. There have been seven direct to the people votes. And the tiniest restriction on abortion loses overwhelmingly. In Montana, in Kentucky, Kansas, states that Trump won by 20 points and it isn’t Republicans per se, I think pushing this, it is these pro-life zealots. who just – they don’t care, I’m going to be pure, and did you see my write-up in the Catholic Insight magazine? And you know, you guys, you’re like the corporate Republicans who will not give up on their cheap labor. We have to tell them, “We can give you some things, but we can’t give you everything or we’re just gonna lose.”

So his proof that is happening is that it hasn’t?

But Newsom is a good divorced Catholic boy who attended Catholic prep school and college. Perhaps if the church weren’t run by the lavender mafia he would have turned out better.

The irony of all this is these fucking clowns can’t even tell you what a woman is, yet here they are pretending they care about women 😂😂

Democrats couldn’t give a flying fuck about women. From allowing them to be killed by illegal aliens to allowing biological men to erase women’s sports. Democrats use women for their vote and nothing else.

Maybe it’s about time Republicans starting showing America how much Democrats care about, quite literally, fucking women and erasing them from society.

Do you know which state came up as being the most hard hitting at going AGAINST human trafficing? It starts with T and ends with e and has Volunteer in between. Left coast and other hell hole blue states are the top places for traffic/slavery. Hmmm why do those governors support human slavery and the sex trade?

Newsome is like a jilted ex trash talking all the Californian refugees who moved to TN.

80% of our circle consists of them 😉 and they have zero regrets on fleeing.

I work in medicine and have for 50 years. If the state of Tennessee desired to hold pregnant women, how? How would they know who is pregnant, how would they know where the woman was going? This is typical fear mongering by the Dems. It happens every election cycle. I have had to order abortions on pregnant women, and it is always with a heavy heart. It is as much a moral decision as one for health. The women that have abortions seem the less for it. So someone needs to act as a counter to the rampant immorality of the Dem party. If this loses the election, then our country needs to make major adjustment, as in 1860. Oh, slavery had nothing to do with the Civil War.

    Did you read the article?

The law is not about holding a pregnant woman. It’s about charging anyone, man or woman, who carries an unemancipated minor across state lines for the purposes of getting an abortion.

BigRosieGreenbaum in reply to healthguyfsu. | February 26, 2024 at 1:35 pm

No he’s saying that if what Newsome said were if fact correct, then how could it possibly be enforced. They could force all women (uterus bearing beings) of a certain age to take a pregnancy test before leaving the state by blocking all of the exits. 😜And idiots will fall for the gov’s lies and we probably just need to go ahead with the national divorce.

BierceAmbrose in reply to healthguyfsu. | February 26, 2024 at 1:35 pm

He’s responding to ad’s claims. Responding to this, there’s an on-point two-fer with three kickers depending on where the conversation goes.

“That law doesn’t say anything like that, and how the he-double-toothpicks would Tennessee enforce that anyway?”

1 – “The internal travel checkpoints I see are all Federal.”
2 – “BTW, who told you this nonsense?”
3 – “Being that wrong about state’s laws isn’t such a great pitch for being Prezzy, is it?”

criminalizing abortion traffic’ing of minors would certainly be inconvenient to the sex slave trade.

Tell that to former Liberalforina residents who are being audited by the state even after they leave.

“It’s precious because females are murdered in the womb way more than males. Weird how they don’t care about those females. But those females don’t pay taxes yet, so they don’t matter.”

They also can’t vote, which is why felon lives matter much more.

Leave my state alone!

Under states rights, any state could potentially regulate fertitlity clinics out of existence. CA gov newscum grandstanding won’t change anything.

The big picture is abortion will turn congressional elections (suburban women are a big electoral bloc) towards Democrats, who are then positioned to thwart Trump’s agenda.

Don’t think Republicans won’ throw the Senate if doing so protects theirs and their donor’s financial interests from Trump’s America First policies.

States will continue to developer their patchwork of regulations for good or bad. Inter-state travel will never be banned.
