Report: Border Agents Encountered Over 1,000,000 Migrants Since Oct. 1
Chinese migrant encounters continue to climb, too. Agents have encountered over 19,600 since October 1. They encountered 37,000 total in fiscal year 2023.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection told Griff Jenkins at Fox News that agents have already encountered one million migrants at the border in fiscal year 2024.

The fiscal year began on October 1. And everyone wonders why many Republicans won’t vote for the stupid border bill.
Last year, at the same time, agents encountered 909,000.

That’s around 150 Chinese migrants each day.
None of these numbers include those agents see but do not encounter. Who knows how many sneak past without anyone seeing them?

This FY24, USBP apprehended +160 undocumented subjects with gang affiliations.

One million encounters by Border Agents since October
And one hundred million encounters by citizens on a daily basis who have to deal with these illegal parasites feeding off our country, hogging up limited resources that are being diverted from needy citizens to support people who should not even be here in the first place.
If the government could slow that to the relative trickle of 5K/day as they propose in that hideous border legislation, why don’t they do it now?
They don’t need permission to carry out existing laws.
It’s been 129 days since October 1st, so at 5k/day that would still put us at 645k by now. Or putting it another way, we’ve been at 7.8/k day this FY. Cutting it down to 5k is hardly a trickle.
The correct Target is zero per day. But that would require enforcing the law

Oh it gets better. Supposedly the 5,000 daily count does NOT include ‘aliens from non contiguous Nations’. IOW as a practical matter the count only includes Mexicans so if 6,000 Chinese show up each day they don’t trigger it.

why does the supposed 5k number only include the southern border, why leave out the northern border, why not those who arrive by boat in Florida or some other state and lastly why aren’t known got always not included, they are encountered via video evidence.
Then there is the little nugget that they will still allow in a minimum of 1400 a day even if the reach the average or go over the daily total.
By “migrants” do you mean “illegal aliens”? “Migrants” suggests that at some point they’ll go back from whence they came.
Always money to ease them in, never money to “ease” them out.
