NYC Inspectors Discover 87 Illegal Immigrants in a Queens Building Basement

A neighbor called 311 due to the numerous e-bikes near her property. It worried her “due to the recent fires that broke out due to defective lithium-ion batteries that garnered headlines.”

The FDNY inspecting a building in Queens discovered 87 illegal immigrants living in the basement.

Authorities transported them to a shelter in the Bronx. From PIX11:

The building’s owner, 47-year-old Ebou Sarr, told PIX11 News on Tuesday that he was charging migrants $300 a month to live in the building. He said most of the migrants are from Senegal, and that he was providing them with breakfast, lunch, and dinner.

Sarr also said he’s looking at commercial properties to help them find a place to live.

“The city is saying that they have no place for these people,” Sarr said. “It’s not true.”

E-bikes parked nearby led to the inspection. A woman called 311 to report the numerous bikes. She told NBC New York the many bikes scared her “due to the recent fires that broke out due to defective lithium-ion batteries that garnered headlines.”

The FDNY ordered everyone to evacuate the building due to the unsafe conditions in the basement:

According to the Department of Buildings, when DOB inspectors arrived on scene, they “found that the first floor commercial space in the building and the cellar had been illegally converted into sleeping quarters, with 14 bunk beds and 13 bed tightly packed on both floors.” Additionally, inspectors found that plumbing work was done without permits and there was no means of exiting, ventilation or natural sunlight for the migrants living there.

Officials said the FDNY issued a full vacate order for the premises. The Department of Buildings also issued a vacate order due to unsafe conditions found at the basement, including overcrowding and fire hazards identified by the FDNY. The city’s Office of Emergency Management referred people in need of shelter for further assistance.

Only 87? Sure it’s not 287?

Open borders biden, the greatest human trafficker in american history.

The US is no longer a sovereign nation. It is a geographic location that anyone can come to or leave from.

There are no more benefits to being a US citizen. Anyone can vote via mail-in. You can only be called for jury duty if you are a citizen.

But Sarr’s listing on AirBnB is still active.

E-bikes? That excuses all. They are environmentally conscious.

What do you think the chances that every one of those ‘e-bikes’ are stolen property?

I’m guessing they are from one of those “bike-sharing” services that urban greenie hippies are so fond of starting, without ever considering the economic realities that doom them. But of course, admitting the tragedy of the commons is mortal wrongthink to Marxists.

So, did they get WiFi and cable? Or was that extra? Netflix? Asking for a friend.

“Owner said he was only trying to help them get on their feet.”

$10 per day. To live in the lower levels of a NYC hi-rise. Sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me.

I just this morning got an announcement for a national technical convention offering a “special rate of $219 per night”(!) in the convention hotel, and it was in flyover country. I wonder if Sarr has any availabilities in OKC.
(Never mind, I just remembered that this is why I have an RV.)

1) Noting that the invaders were sent to a shelter and that there is no hint of any legal proceedings against them.

2) Further, that the only legal proceedings are against the presumed American citizen involved. And this being New York, those will disappear with a suitably delivered gratuity to the powers that be.

They’ve all come, to look for America.

Whoa – they better hope the decrepit Judge who is persecuting PRESIDENT TRUMP doesn’t find out about this!!
