Biological Male Wins New Hampshire Girls’ High School State Title in High Jump

Biological male Maelle Jacques won the New Hampshire state high school title in the high jump.
Jacques’ winning jump was 10″ lower than the winning height in the boys’ match:
Kearsarge Regional High School sophomore Maelle Jacques, a biological male, took first place in the girls high jump competition on Sunday, beating every female in the New Hampshire Interscholastic Athletic Association (NHIAA) indoor track and field championship.
As expected, Jacques dominated and finished with a 5’1” mark, an inch better than any other athlete in the girls Division II competition. In the boys Division II, the lowest high jump was 5’8”, and the winning jumpers hit 6’2”.
The NHIAA did not respond to NHJournal’s request for comment last week. The non-profit group that oversees high school sports allows athletes to compete in whatever gender division they choose.
Jacques has dominated the girls’ track events in New Hampshire. For example, in May 2023, Jacques finished second in the girls’ 1,600m event.
Jacques has even gone through puberty. This is from June 2023:
Being a boy, Maelle has gone through boy puberty and is noticeably taller and stronger than the girls that he now runs against in track. He ran a 5:26 mile at the State Championships, which wouldn’t have even qualified for the meet if he ran as what he really is – a boy. Freshman boys who run 5:26 miles are a dime a dozen.
But since Maelle has declared that he is femaelle, he finished in fourth in the girls meet. This is significant for two reasons:
1. His girl’s team got 5 points towards their team score.
2. The top 6 girls in each event qualify for the New England Championship, which meant that Brooke Bouchard of Hollis-Brookline Regional would’ve qualified if she ran against a field exclusively of other girls.

How sad is it that the intelligence of the American people has deteriorated to this extent. A couple of decades ago, most people could tell the difference between male and female.

I thought the same thing.. but, it isn’t that simple.. Missing one meet because of a guy can start a ripple where they girls are punished and barred from other events.. It is surprising, but they could end up getting a double or triple whammie.. SMH..
Exactly correct. Competitors definitely don’t want to miss a meet. And/But, they definitely don’t want to miss a meet and then get labeled ‘transphobic.’ There’s a reason why (for the most part) the only collegiate athletes who are publicly criticizing this insanity are those who are in their senior year or have graduated. The younger girls in college or those prep school athletes wanting to make a collegiate team themselves, keep their mouths shut because they’re terrified of retaliation. Given what happened to the college coach (I think at Otterbein), that fear is clearly justified.
To be honest, there is no way in this Leftist, politically correct world for those athletes who are anatomically female to stop this without sacrificing their own athletic careers. It will only happen if ALL anatomic females just refuse to take part against anatomic males.

Boys are bigger, faster, stronger and smarter than girls when you’re talking about the right-hand tails where this happens, as well as on the average.
Smarter is a little varied at the average – different skills there. They load IQ tests with boy questions and girl questions so that they come out the same at the average point.

He’s winning girls’ meets with a 5:26 mile? In 9th grade I ran a 5:18 first mile of three in helping my team win the U.S. Postals that year in the 3-mile. And I was fourth fastest out of five on our team. I’m surprised this guy can beat girls. He’s nothing among boys.

I don’t know how many millionaire female professional athletes there are alive today. But, I would have to imagine it’s several thousand, at least. And yet, as best I can tell, the only one who’s spoken out about this in a public way is Martina Navratilova. That’s absolutely shameful.
Based on career net earnings (after tax and expenses), the answer is much smaller — perhaps 500-600, tops.
But your basic point is well taken: why are there not 20-30 major stars joining Martina’s condemnation?

Good post but in some lesser known sports women are declining to participate on occasion. Definitely seen it in some local cycling races but it needs to be widespread and in the bigger events.
Modern women have made defending them undesirable.
The issue of boys competing in girls sports is trivial.
The real issue and real harm is caused by irreversible damage done to the human body by treating a mental health issue as if it is a biological disease.
