Syracuse ‘Pro-Palestine’ Students Protest Jerry Seinfeld, Who is Jewish, Comedy Show
They hate that Seinfeld is not apologetic about being Jewish and supporting Israel.

The Syracuse chapter of the Democratic Socialists of America, the Syracuse Collective for Palestinian Liberation, the Resilient Indigenous Action Collective, and the Syracuse chapter of the Party for Socialism and Liberation organized the “Shut It Down for Palestine protest in downtown Syracuse, NY.
The anti-Israel students targeted comedian Jerry Seinfeld’s show.
Seinfeld is Jewish. He signed an open letter expressing support for Israel.

Attendees called for an end to U.S. aid to Israel and condemned members of the House of Representatives for passing a resolution Tuesday that labels anti-Zionism as antisemitism. At the event, protestors named the Biden Administration and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, chanting they “charge (them) with genocide.” They specifically asked the Biden administration for “no more money for Israel’s crimes” along with chants that “Palestine will never die.”
“We have found ourselves at a point in history that is so crucial. A time where a better world is truly within our grasp,” said Hussein, a speaker in the crowd who did not give his last name. “It is precisely at moments like this we must come together and build everlasting solidarity with one another.”
As people entered Landmark Theater for Seinfeld’s show, protestors stood outside. Police placed themselves between the two groups, forming a pathway for those looking to get inside the building while protestors chanted that Seinfeld was “complicit in genocide.”
“This is not about religion. This is about peace,” claimed Tara Sandlin, a Syracuse alumnus and organizer with the local DSA chapter. “We are here to come together to say that we care about human life.”
They hate that Seinfeld is not apologetic about being Jewish and supporting Israel.
In 2018, Seinfeld drew fire because he had the audacity to visit an Israeli training camp in the West Bank, where he took part in IDF training courses.

Once again, he's a COMEDIAN not a diplomat or gov official.

I only got into Seinfeld last year. Yeah, I’m late to the party. If someone told me I am Elaine, I would have watched earlier!
I think my favorite episode is “The Cigar Store Indian.”

I tried watching Seinfeld once. I didn’t find it interesting at all.
That doesn’t matter though. What matters is that he is targeted for 2 reasons.
1) He’s Jewish.
2) TV cameras will be present.
Both of those motivations are disgusting.
Yeah I thought the characters were not people I would want to associate with as they were selfish jerks most of the time.
However these people going after Seinfeld for being Jewish would have been perfect brown shirts in the 1930s.

The Limo is one of my favorite episodes of Seinfeld. Jerry and George impersonate a guy named “O’Brien” to get a free limo ride from LaGuardia to Manhattan. It turns out O’Brien is the leader of the Aryan Union heading to MSG to give an anti-Semitic speech! 🤣They made a serious issue into a comedy show.
The nationwide mobs that appear on schedule to intimidate anyone who supports Israel or who is Jewish, are somewhat similar to the several years in Germany before the Nazis came to power. This makes the case even stronger that despite Arab Muslim hostility to the presence of a non-Muslim nation in an area in which they are non-indigenous, Islam cannot be defined as a “religion of peace”. It also makes the case that Jews, the universal scapegoat must have a strong Israel, to avoid the persecution they have suffered for millennia.

Really? What did they do to prevent the October 7 attack? Did they even condemn attack, before Israel counter-attacked?
Want a cease fire now? That’s odd, because Hamas was dissatisfied with the one that existed on October 6.
Demand a two-state solution? I give you Jordan, the portion of the Mandate that was reserved by the British for the Arabs. (Fully three-quarters of the Mandate was allotted to the Arabs, slightly less than one-quarter of the Mandate eventually became Israel.)
