State Dept: Hamas Broke Ceasefire, Still Holding Women Hostages to Cover Up Sexual Abuse

“…the reason this pause fell apart is they don’t want those women to be able to talk about what happened to them during their time in custody.”

It’s simple. Either Hamas is keeping the women and children hostages to keep them from talking about sexual abuse and rape, or they are dead.

State Department spokesman Mathew Miller:

“The fact that they continue to hold women hostages, the fact that they continue to hold children hostages, the fact that it seems one of the reasons they don’t want to turn women over that they’ve been holding hostage and the reason this pause fell apart is they don’t want those women to be able to talk about what happened to them during their time in custody.”

October 7 survivor Yoni Saadon told The Sunday Times:

“She fell to the ground, shot in the head, and I pulled her body over me and smeared her blood on me so it would look as if I was dead too,” he said. “I will never forget her face. Every night I wake to it and apologise to her, saying ‘I’m sorry’.”

After an hour, he peeked out. “I saw this beautiful woman with the face of an angel and eight or ten of the fighters beating and raping her. She was screaming, ‘Stop it — already I’m going to die anyway from what you are doing, just kill me!’ When they finished they were laughing and the last one shot her in the head.

“I kept thinking it could have been one of my daughters,” added the father of four. “Or my sister — I had bought her a ticket but last minute she couldn’t come.”

The horror did not end there. Hiding in bushes, he saw two more Hamas fighters. “They had caught a young woman near a car and she was fighting back, not allowing them to strip her. They threw her to the ground and one of the terrorists took a shovel and beheaded her and her head rolled along the ground. I see that head too,” he says.

Two people preparing the remains of females found at the festival confirmed the rape allegations (emphasis mine):

“It was clear they were trying to spread as much horror as they could — to kill, to burn alive, to rape,” said Haim Outmezgine, a senior member of ZAKA rescue services, which has been working around the clock collecting the remains of the dead. “It seemed their mission was to rape as many [people] as possible.”

Corroborating Outmezgine’s account, an architect identified by the Sunday Times only as Shari, described what she had seen during a two-week stint volunteering as part of a group preparing the remains of female victims for burial.

“Opening the body bags was scary as we didn’t know what we would see,” she said. “They were all young women. Most in little clothing or shredded clothing and their bodies bloodied particularly around their underwear and some women shot many times in the face as if to mutilate them.”

There seems no doubt what happened to them,” she added.

The women released by Hamas have not said anything about rape or sexual abuse, but that does not mean it didn’t happen. Rightfully, no one will pressure them to speak about anything they do not want to. They must be given the time and space to heal and speak when and if needed.

never have I read such a true headline.
“Hamas Broke Ceasefire, Still Holding Women Hostages to Cover Up Sexual Abuse”

this. so. much. this.

Remember that to the far left being the “oppressed” excuses any atrocity.

Gazan’s were not appressed, they could have been peaceful, they chose not to be. Thye are dredges of not just the Arab world, but of most all of humanity. They are not salvageable. They have no empathy, not even for their children or fellows. I hope that Israel starts using the bigger thermobaric bombs and carpet bombing with them. They really do not deserve that quick of a death, but the world does deserve to be free of all terrorists and the 75% of Gazans who support those terrorists. Lets see Israel saved first, and the the rest of the world.

Jayapal is right on it. She’s the champion of women, after all, especially where Israel is concerned.

Her words last July:

“Hey guys, can I say something? Can I say something as somebody that’s been in the streets and has participated in a lot of demonstrations? I want you to know that we have been fighting to make it clear that Israel is a racist state, that the Palestinian people deserve self-determination and autonomy, that the dream of a two-state solution is slipping away from us, that it does not even feel possible.

While you may have arguments with whether or not some of us onstage are fighting hard enough, I do want you to know that there is an organized opposition on the other side, and it isn’t the people that are on this stage.”

In other words, the “organized opposition” is the enemy, even when you rape the women and kill the children. Pramila is clear about where she stands. Who cares if there are women hostages.

the Palestinian people deserve self-determination and autonomy
They had that up until Oct 7. Then they threw it all away. Because that’s not really what they want.

the dream of a two-state solution is slipping away from us
That’s never been their dream. Not since 1948. Or before. (And I don’t believe it was ever yours, either.)

    “Palestinian people deserve self-determination”

Thye did exercise themselves and now it is up to others to give them what they have coming. They can have their state in afterlife.

Silence is not just acquiescence but willful acceptance.

    TargaGTS in reply to T23. | December 4, 2023 at 4:21 pm

I think Tucker Carlson offers a lot insight, much of it novel, into many very important subjects. But, his unwillingness or inability to directly address the danger of Islam in a modern society is troubling. He seems to cling to a very naive ideal that if we just ‘mind our own business’ the world will heal itself, or at least, leave us alone.

Hamas and their Iranian benefactors don’t hate America because we support Israel. They hate America because we’re not Muslim. They believe their road to their salvation is one that runs red with the blood of Infidels…and nothing is going to change their mind and ignoring them won’t make them go away.

Crawford in reply to TargaGTS. | December 4, 2023 at 5:59 pm

One of the 9/11 murderers was enraged by the “Silly Song” scene in Disney’s “Snow White”. The Muslim Brotherhood was founded by a “man” enraged over a 1950’s dance in a church basement.

Yes, they hate us because we don’t toe the line and bow to their “god” endlessly.

        JohnSmith100 in reply to Crawford. | December 4, 2023 at 7:43 pm

        “bow to their “god” endlessly.”

Five brainwashing sessions a day for a cult.

Milhouse in reply to Crawford. | December 4, 2023 at 9:05 pm

The Brotherhood was founded in 1928. Therefore it could not have been inspired by a 1950s dance. And how would an Egyptian Moslem scholar even know what was going on in church basements? Where were these churches and their basements? Surely not in Egypt.

The Duke d’Escargot in reply to Milhouse. | December 5, 2023 at 2:13 am

Coptic Christians and their churches predate the Islamic conquest of Egypt by a few centuries at the least.

Muslims have been slaughtering Christians there off and on ever since.

Milhouse in reply to Milhouse. | December 5, 2023 at 8:23 am

Yeah, I doubt Coptic churches were performing 1950s dances in their basements even in the 1950s, let alone in the 1920s. Do Coptic churches even have basements? Are basements a thing in Egypt?

Antifundamentalist in reply to TargaGTS. | December 4, 2023 at 8:11 pm

Tucker Carlson is silent because he doesn’t want to die. If he speaks the honest truth about Islam, they will murder him in the streets.

“It’s simple. Either Hamas is keeping the women and children hostages to keep them from talking about sexual abuse and rape, or they are dead.”

Probably some of both.

The definition of “radicalization” has been intentionally reversed . It is the truly radicalized Muslim who doesn’t want to murder, rape and conquer….. all that we are seeing is true Islam in action. All encouraged by the “Holy” books.

So, at this point, to cover their crimes, Hamas either retains them as hostages indefinitely or…kills them.

Israel’s message to Hamas should be: “Release them now, or be annihilated.”

Mr. Biden’s message to Hamas: “Do you have ice cream?”

My fear has been what this article is reporting from the beginning knowing what history of Muslims do to captured people. I have doubted any female hostages would be released.

randian in reply to Skip. | December 4, 2023 at 6:58 pm

If they’re still alive they’ve probably already been sent to the sex slave markets in Saudi Arabia.

      JohnSmith100 in reply to randian. | December 4, 2023 at 7:55 pm

If they return alive, 200,000 dead Pales, if they do not or are not accounted for 300,000 per child or woman.

Arrange to trick them into street celebrations, then teach them about Napalm. One would think that would introduce the concept of empathy, but considering their nature, maybe not.

The unconditional surrender has to include the leaders in Qatar. They need to either be killed or locked up in an Israeli prison forever.

Annihilation of Hamas should be only the beginning, not the end. Once they are about done, move on to the Hezbos and then Iran. Without taking down the regime, there will be a successor to Hamas starting to grow inside of a year.

Women make better hostages.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to rhhardin. | December 4, 2023 at 8:21 pm

Because they can rape again and again. Maybe these guys should be subjected the the male equivalent of Muslim’s most extreme FGM before being put down?

That form of FGM is practiced by Omar’s people and may explain her nature..

There seems to be a rape fixation. That’s way down the list of problems.

alien in reply to rhhardin. | December 4, 2023 at 6:55 pm

Yeah, tell that to the women who were raped. That should go well.

rhhardin in reply to alien. | December 4, 2023 at 7:12 pm

[Googles] There are 880 rapes per day (12 or over, seems to be a category) just in the US. There have been 58 days since October 7, so that’s 51,000 rapes in the US in the same time.
Does that rank above or below this? It seems to rank pretty low, judging from clickbait choices.

alien in reply to rhhardin. | December 4, 2023 at 8:13 pm

Are you familiar with the First Rule of Holes?

“Ranking” rapes by quantity is nearly as reprehensible as rape itself.

Again, tell that to the women who were raped. I. Dare. You.

rhhardin in reply to alien. | December 4, 2023 at 8:29 pm

Thanks to a court decision, nobody knows what a rape is, least of all women.

Around 1980 Buckley wrote a column in NR about whether a man can rape his wife. The question had made its way up to the Supreme Court.

Buckley’s argument was that a husband couldn’t rape his wife: the correct charge is assault and battery. Rape, he said, is a crime against feminine modesty, and there’s no question that that can’t happen in marriage.

Buckley’s side lost and confusion has reigned ever since, with rape covering even all of #MeToo.

The lesson nevertheless is that feminine modesty is today pretty much over, and that too would lower rape to assault. Which compared to murder is not a big deal.

If you’re mugged, it’s a big deal, but it’s not a public crisis.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to rhhardin. | December 4, 2023 at 8:25 pm

In most cases these rapes were repeated and brutal, perhaps leading to sterility.

they don’t want those women to be able to talk about what happened to them during their time in custody

Unlikely. Hamas are true believers in Islam. Why would they care if those women talked when what they did to those women was, according to Islam, righteous? Palestinian media has been quite open in the past about extolling the virtues of murder, I can’t see them shying away from rape, especially of Jews.

Yossi Klein Halevi gives the Palestinian and Israeli side. Econtalk runs out of pre-Oct7 material and begins to cover the war. Hosted in Jerusalem.

https://www.econtalk.org/yossi-klein-halevi-on-the-palestinian-israeli-conflict/

Death is the only appropriate punishment for those that committed and ordered these crimes.

The book of Esther in the Bible mentions a method that is particularly appropriate.

Impalement publicly displayed as a lesson and warning for other monsters.

I believe that IF the females are still alive…they have been sold to other groups … sex slave markets ….

Capitalist-Dad | December 5, 2023 at 9:26 am

This morning (12/5) on the reprehensible MSNBC, the leftist reprobate Jake Trapper, said the rapes occurred “because they [Hamas] are terrorists.” I can only conclude that Trapper “the Crapper” is totally incurious and hasn’t read their “holy book.” The problem isn’t just terrorism, the problem is Islam.

BiteYourTongue | December 5, 2023 at 10:04 am

Hamas needs to be wiped from the face of the earth. Supporters of such evil should be shunned and condemned by society. I don’t want to hear Islam is a religion of peace, because if it is they have totally failed in demonstrating that they practice what they preach.

Pramila Jayapal, an American politician serving as the U.S. representative from Washington’s 7th congressional district (most of Seattle, as well as some suburban areas of King County) , and a respected member of the Democratic Party, thinks Hamas is prudent to continue to hold these women hostage.

    JohnSmith100 in reply to Philip. | December 5, 2023 at 5:53 pm

I think the squad should be traded, all of them for as little as one hostage released. Rape is routinely sweep under the rug with Muslims. Nasty things happen to women who speak out, Maybe this is why they feel entitled to rape all over the world. That is a Muslim thing.
