Pro-Hamas Has-Been Susan Sarandon Apologizes For Anti-Jewish Rant (After Getting Dropped By Her Talent Agency)

“This phrasing was a terrible mistake, as it implies that until recently Jews have been strangers to persecution, when the opposite is true”

On November 17, 2023 former actress and current pro-Hamas and pro-communist activist Susan Sarandon ranted about Jewish people during some pro-Hamas rally in New York City.

The New York Post reported at the time:

On Friday, she attended the “Shut It Down for Palestine” protest in Union Square, where she said many were “afraid of being Jewish at this time” and were [sic] it was the same feeling Muslims in the country felt.

“It’s important to listen, it’s important to have facts…you don’t have to go through the entire history of that region, you just have to show the babies that are dying in incubators,” she said.

“Those images are enough to show you that something is drastically wrong. We need a ceasefire now.”

She also joined in chanting “from the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” — which has been regarded as antisemitic.

Sarandon had also reposted a tweet from a far-right account that claimed an Israeli helicopter had murdered Israeli citizens. She also retweeted a post celebrating Pink Floyd’s Roger Waters, who was accused of being antisemitic for years.

That was two weeks ago. Her talent agency didn’t appreciate her comments and dumped her. So now she is “apologizing” for her antisemitic rant.

The New York Post reports:

Oscar-winning actress Susan Sarandon broke her silence Friday night and apologized for her anti-Jewish rant during a pro-Palestinian rally last month in NYC, saying her choice of words was a “terrible mistake.”

Sarandon told the crowd at Union Square on Nov. 17 that Jews are “getting a taste of what it is like to be Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence” as she said she intended “to communicate my concern for an increase in hate crimes.”

“This phrasing was a terrible mistake, as it implies that until recently Jews have been strangers to persecution, when the opposite is true,” Sarandon wrote in an Instagram post.

“As we all know, from centuries of oppression and genocide in Europe, to the Tree of Life shooting in Pittsburgh, PA., Jews have long been familiar with discrimination and religious violence which continues to this day.”

. . . . Sarandon’s apology on Instagram is her first post to the social media platform since Nov. 20, which she had previously used almost exclusively to highlight different pro-Palestinian protests around the world.

“I will continue my commitment to peace, truth, justice, and compassion for all people. I hope that we can meet with love and willingness to engage in dialogue, especially with those with whom we disagree,” she concluded her message.

Needless to say, this apology falls far short for many people.

Dumb, perhaps as dumb as what Muslims are doing.

Ooh those dastardly Muslims really have your panties In a knot, don’t they. 😅
    Get a hobby, you loser.

Yes, those dastardly mudslime. It’s not JohnSmith100’s panties in a knot.

It’s this poor girls who they anally and vaginally raped on October 7. It wasn’t enough to just raid Israel starting with a peaceful music festival. No, the religion of pieces had to go door to door, killing men and women, cutting unborn children from their mother’s womb.

To add insult to injury, like the good Nazis they are, they separated women and children from their fathers and husbands, and continued to torture them in captivity. Some are still in captivity.

It’s a wonder they just don’t go directly to the burn pits after gassing them.

I hope a day never comes when the women you love are horribly raped and tortured, their naked bodies exhibited to the public, bloody pants from being sodomized.

But if the day ever comes when that happens to your family, I won’t shed a tear because you are one hateful bastard.

Thad Jarvas is an example of who dislikes someone may be a better gauge of their worth than who likes them.

I think that Muslim irrational rage is a direct result close inbreeding for nearly 1400 years. Dumb and extremely poor impulse control are a consequence of such inbreeding, Jarvas might be an example of this.

More of the myth that Muslims are being subjected to hate crimes!! in this country.
In 2022
Religion-Based Crimes: There were 2,042 reported incidents based on religion. More than half of these (1,122) were driven by anti-Jewish bias. Incidents involving anti-Muslim (158) and anti-Sikh (181) sentiments remained at similar levels compared to 2021.

*Note that there were nearly 10x as many Jewh8 crimes as (boo-hoo) crimes against Muslims. But we’re led to believe these number are skyrocketing.

Drove what’s left of her career off a cliff.

Susan Sarandon probably does not know that the Palestinians have engaged in thirty years of child abuse.

They specifically and deliberately train their children to murder their neighbors.

All of the above explains why some Muslim man asked this painful question:

“Can you tell me what Islam we are talking about?”

That question is asked by an Israeli Arab man whose wife was killed by Hamas

She’s in [counts] 19 movies I have dvds of, of which I remember only one (January Man) specifically. It’s at worst a shut up and act case.

As for has-been, it hits all women. Born in 1946. Barthelme covered the problem:

Now think, I ask you, of all those women who are beyond the moment of splendor. They are depressed. The minister comes to call and recommends to them the things of the spirit, and tells them how the things of the spirit are more durable than the things of the flesh and all that. Well he is entirely correct, they are more durable, but durable is not what we wanted. The terrible poignance of this predicament is not vitiated by the fact that everybody knows it, in the backs of their minds. Ruin of the physical envelope is our great theme here, and if we keep changing girls every four or five years, it is because of this ruin, which I will never agree to, to my dying day. And that is why I keep looking out of the window, and why we all keep looking out of the window, to see what is passing, what has been cast up on the beach of our existence. Because something is always being cast up on that beach, as new classes of girls mature, and you can always get a new one, if you are willing to overlook certain weaknesses in the departments of thought and feeling. But if it is thought and feeling you want, you can always read a book, or see a film, or have an interior monologue. But of course with the spread of literacy you now tend to get girls who have thought and feeling too, in some measure, and some of them will probably belong to the Royal Philological Society or something, or in any case have their own ‘thing,’ which must be respected, and catered to, and nattered about, just as if you gave a sh*t about all this blague. But of course we may be different, perhaps you do care about it. It’s not unheard of. But my main point is that you should bear in mind multiplicity, and forget about uniqueness. The earth is broad, and flat, and deep, and high. And remember what Freud said.

Sarandon* is worried about her legacy, not her career. Okay, maybe 8% career/92% legacy.

* The dread life legacy asterisk.

It sticks forever.

She was good in the Rocky Horror Picture Show, which probably gives “E Howard Hunt” the vapors due to its “homosexualism”. 😅

Sarandon’s original blather was bad for another reason:
She was justifying hatred for group A because of purported hatred of group B. Her apology does not come close to addressing that basic issue.

AF_Chief_Master_Sgt | December 2, 2023 at 11:22 pm

An old shriveled up actress who is a has-been.

She wanted her last 15 minutes of fame to draw attention to herself. She got it… she got it real bad.

Too old to learn to code, too ugly to be a prostitute.

She’s gonna have to get more cats.

Like many Brits she grew up hating Jews. Iran can kill dozens of women for not covering their faces and hair…and she is perfectly happy with that.

What is it going to take for the world to see what Islam means? Pick any country that used to be free of them and then look at it now. Rape is like running a stop sign. Murder, honor killings, attacking any company or organization that is even remotely anti-Muslim or doesn’t spout their hate against Jews. Please, show me a country where they have improved the lives of any of its citizens. Disrupting any event that they can get their message of hate across. They have one goal and that is to become masters of the world and the free people of the world are too civilized to stop them.

I thought she was ok in Bull Durham. That’s about it, middling actress.

It’s just embarrassing to be a geriatric, has-been actress, desperately shilling for Muslim supremacism, terrorism and Islamofascism in a transparently self-serving and narcissistic bid for cultural relevance.

“Ooh, if I bash American Jews (and Israel, by implication), and stupidly parrot contrived and fallacious narratives of Muslim grievance and victimhood, maybe all the ‘cool kids’ will like me!!”

What a sad and pathetic display.

“Susan Sarandon” & “Talent Agency” seems to be a contradiction in terminology, to me at least.
